I really had a fun time with this one. I don't think K.Webster can write a bad book haha this one was quite different from anything I have read from her until now. And I liked that it was short sexy and sweet. It had a very balanced dynamic and literally had me going from laughing to crying all in one page. It had a cool setup. I just love auction themes, not sure why, but they draw me in like candy. I loved the second chance, the emotional trauma and pain that they need to work through and the smexy moments that just fit this pair's dynamic. I really love that Webster writes such a variety and you never know what you can expect until you read it. And I can't wait to read more of these short ones. ...more

The Shameless Hour was a story, I will be honest, I wasn't too excited for. Bella hasn't been my favorite character. I just don't relate to her character at all. And I will be honest in that this book wasn't my favorite from the series. Now I am picky about heroines that are very explorative when it comes to sexual experiences. Even in her vulnerable moments, I struggled with Bella and how she treats the hero. We have a virgin hero here and I really adored him so deeply. He has convictions and stands by them and Bella tended to demean those convictions at times and really put him down all the time. And while she realizes how wrong she is in the end, not much of a grovel, so she isn't fully redeemed and the heroine is the reason why the rating is so low. The conflict that we see in the story is interesting. It was more how the heroine reacted to it that rubbed me the wrong way. Hero was so steady and valiant. And while the ending was satisfying and delivered so happy feels, it wasn't quite as satisfying because the heroine just didn't become redeemed. This is basically a story of the heroine abusing the hero and it is shrugged off as okay because she is a feminist so his feelings and the emotional abuse don't matter. ...more

Blonde Date was such a pure delight to read here. I absolutely adored all the sweet moments that build between this couple. I really loved this pair that are implemented here. I just had a blast with how these two work together. It has such a fun set up here. And somehow with it being a novella, its my favorite of the series haha Not sure why, but I just fell so hard for this couple. Loved how together they are for each other and I hope we get to see them in future books to see how their relationship goes. But we have a hero who is a Jew and a basketball player, however the fact that the hero is Jewish made the whole fling idea not applicable if he was loyal to this faith anyway. As the religion is pretty strict on sex before marriage so not sure how I feel about that being implemented. But the romance was super endearing. ...more

The Ritual is a book that I have been meaning to read for quite some time. This is a book that I honestly was more terrified to read than anything else. I knew it was one of those crazy dark romances that I really needed to have the correct mindset to truly enjoy, and I can tell you that this book is completely bat crazy but I fell hard for it. This will have some crazy moments within in, and it won't be an easy read. But while I was completely hooked into this one, I completely recognize how WILD this book is. What the LORDS go through....I do not understand this level of crazy lol
However, I couldn't help but becoming hooked into this story. I wanted to become so immersed within it. It is very heavy on the sexual interactions though, so much so I found myself skipping through those parts. I did love how the plot develops in this one. I enjoyed the forbidden themes to the romance at times, and seeing them overcome the circumstances and to overcome it to be together was quite superb to see. The only thing missing in the story was we didn't see the heroine's initiation so I was really hoping for that. But the epilogue was beyond heartfelt even though I think her birth mother is CRAZY lol
Overall I had a blast with this book and eager to see the other LORDS get their stories. ...more

This was a nice short quick read here. I really had a blast with this one here and it was so adorable in how our couple for the first book meet as that is a second chance romance. There is a cliffhanger as we see how their relationship ended things. But this one gives some background information on our pair and I really thought it was a cute fast read. And yeah it ends very interestingly. But it is a cliffhanger so make sure you have book one ready to go! ...more

Introduction Seduce Me is the second installment in the "Ravage MC" series and I absolutely adored this one here. It was simply delightful. I really had some issues with the first book, so after reading the first book, you are unsure, I highly recommend this one. It has more emotional overtones, a more relatable softer heroine, a alpha mellow hero and much of the MC bonding that you want to see in a MC romance. I was immediately drawn into this one and it actually had a scenario for the "secret baby" that really just worked for me. But I would make sure to check the triggers below as it will have some content aspects that will be challenging for some readers.
Summary Seduce Me is a story of Casey, who grew up in the Ravage MC, they are her family but she never felt like she was a part of them or that they considered her family. She also felt she was on the outside. When she finds herself pregnant and the man she has loved since she was girl telling her he cheated on her, it broke Casey and she needed space from the MC and find her own strength to get her college degree to raise her daughter, Mia. But when tragedy hits both Casey and GT, they are brought back together and forced to face hidden truths and repair their relationship and find a future together and with their MC family.
My Outlook Seduce Me was such a precious romance and I gobbled up every single moment of this one here. If you are fans of more gritty style MC, like Joanna Wylde, then I highly recommend this author. Then you will definitely love this one. I will admit that even if you prefer softer MC, you will enjoy this book. Its definitely softer than the previous installment in many ways. At first, when you enter the story, you expect it to be secret baby. But its actually not, the truth does come out, and the way the story evolves was NOT what I was expecting. The author really tackles your deeper emotions throughout this story. Seeing what G.T. and Casey suffer and struggle through was so heart wrenching at times, but the healing of it and the way in which their MC backs them up and stands by them through it tore me apart! This MC is truly a family, even when they fight, they are always brothers and sisters and I LOVED that. The romance itself was so endearing. It definitely has some angst filled moments when some misunderstandings happen, but they work through them quickly and I appreciated that certain aspects weren't dragged out longer than necessary. It really felt authentic in so many ways. Definitely eager to continue this series and see how this author develops these bonds. Its a big series, but I am hooked on to stay through it for the long haul.
Overall View I found Seduce Me to be a captivating story that tugged at my emotions and swept me away into this gritty MC world and with a splice of life feel to it, truly endeared me to yearning for more.

And I believe this is my first book from this author and it was a average read for me. I am not sure if I just wasn't in the mood or what for this one but I just couldn't seem to connect to this one. I loved how the hero was into basketball though and it showed some aspects of the sport but it didn't quite fulfill my expectations either. I wanted to really love it but it just didn't quite click for me. Or maybe I just expected more from this one considering how many people have enjoyed this author and hyped this book up. Or it could also be a combination of both factors. While this was a enjoyable relationship to delve into, it felt average and didn't quite wow me. I did enjoy the hero much more than the heroine. Nothing horrible and super focused on what I didn't care for, she just seemed very prickly. But still an likeable read that has some redeeming qualities that kept me with the story in the end. ...more

I have had this one on my kindle for a while and I was eager to get to this one. Especially lately I have been working on the novellas for this series. I just love this whole Forbidden Men world that this author has created. Its so entertaining. This book was a bit different than I was expecting. I really found the major plot with the hero and heroine to be so superb. I just adored the way that these two are together. And we see how they just fit together. There is some revenge aspects that build between these two. I love a good revenge plot, and this one was so well done.
So basically the set up of this one is where the heroine walks in on her boyfriend having sex with her roommate. She she runs off and finds haven with her ex boyfriend's nemesis on the football team, and through a course of events, they become roommates. But even though his friends think its a mistake for him to build anything with Haven. But as Wick and Haven really bond together and find their path to each other, some secrets of the past become revealed and their relationship will become more deeper than either of them would have expected.
I really found this one so interesting. There is a backstory that I would say you want to stick with it, I know at first it makes no sense, but trust me, as the story progresses, you will see later in the story how it connects so deeply to the main storyline with Wick and Haven. I absolutely adored it. It just added so much more to Wick and Haven's story. I really loved the way that Linda Kage built this story. It gets a bit wild with some of the revenge aspects, but in the end, the villain gets the justice he deserves.
Overall I became so satisfied with how this one played out and I can't wait to see what the author delivers with these books! ...more

We really see the truth depths to Rock Hard is the second book in the "Sinners on Tour" series and in this story we have Sed and Jessica's book here. We really see the truth depths to their past. I actually really had a blast with this one, I really think I am in the best frame of reading to really enjoy these books and I am glad that I didn't try picking them up years ago. I have really adjusted my reading preferences. This story definitely has more in the sex content so be warned of that. It is borderline erotic romance but I love the way in which this author writes her steam and balances it so well with a well penned story.
There is a sense of forbidden, angst, and second chance in this story. There are some misunderstandings between the hero and heroine so we get to see them work through those and seeing them being more mature a couple years later and willing to fight for each other. I wasn't a big fan of the "fling" of the relationship in the beginning, but it eventually wins in the end. I did love the fact that the heroine does have to work on winning her hero back. I really gravitate towards a pining heroine, and honestly, both of them pine for each other but in different ways.
Overall I found myself falling in love with these band members again, and most of all wanting to cheer this couple along as they work their way towards their HEA! ...more

Introduction Punk 57 is a standalone by Penelope Douglas, but there is a loose connection between some of her other books. So I do think that if you have read her other books than this is one that you can enjoy fully as well. I really adored this one here. I actually ended up loving it. This is such a hyped story so I will be honest I had NO clue how I would feel about this one. And with it being a bully romance, let me tell you this one was such an intimidating book, but honestly I ended up loving it so much. It was so fascinating to see this book come together and it was NOT what I expected. I did come into this book pretty blind except for the blurb. I didn’t even know much about the book other than that, didn’t even read the reviews, because I really wanted to go into this one with no opinions influencing it at all. And I have to say this book was beautiful! I absolutely adored it, and this is the first time I was cheering on the bully haha or the one doing the obvious bullying.
Summary The book starts out with with our hero Misha and heroine Ryen, exchanging letters. They have been pen pals since they were kids and they share their true selves with each other in these letters, but on the surface they are so much more than they share with the world. But when Misha’s sister is killed, he stops writing but Ryen has zero clue what has happened, and consistently writes him even though she hasn’t received a response in months because she mad a promise to him. But now Misha has figured out who Ryen is and he sees a girl at their school, who is NOT who she claims to be in her letters and he is determined to show her she is a fraud and will force her to face up to the truth and be honest with not just herself but the world. But it will take risks and dares for Ryen to realize the truths and embrace who she really is and not what the world wants to see.
My Outlook Punk 57 was such a epic feeling book and I absolutely ADORED every single moment of this book! I honestly couldn’t seem to get enough of what was delivered on this one here. Its probably my favorite Penelope Douglas I have ever ever read! I have read many of her books, and I have to say that this is one of the most well developed books that she has written and was so entertaining. I couldn’t seem to stay away from this one. I did a combo read of this one, started it with the audio and finished it off with the physical book. I know that bully romance can be intimidating, but READ THIS ONE!! In most bullying romances, it NEVER makes sense the bullying. but in this one, it makes sense. Its where the hero is trying to being our the true self of the heroine and its not bad bullying. Its more getting the real Ryen to shine through the facade that she shows to the world. So basically Ryen, is a mean girl or at least hangs with the mean girl type of group. But inside she is a music lover and artist. She wants to be friends with the lows of the school, but she has ingrained herself with so much about being liked by the majority that she forgets about the minority and their value. I will be honest in that this one was rough to read about such a unlikeable heroine. I wanted to love her but it was a real struggle reading this one sometimes. Even in the author’s note, she talks about why she wrote the heroine’s character like this. And I really resonated with her note, so I really respected that. As it really showcased why I am picky about heroines. And in this one, we see a heroine not living her true potential, and the hero doing things to have her face up to that truth and embrace it. Its not an easy road but once she gets there, oh is it satisfying in seeing her find her true tribe.
Overall View I found Punk 57 to be a stunning, intricately developed romance that delivered the heart, the soul and the healing that made this one such a win for me!
