As almost everything that Hazard writes. This doesn’t mean is something bad. I really liked this book; I found it cute and endearing. Harry is such a sweet little head; I just wanted to hug him and never let him go. Don’t judge me.
I was in the mood for something cute and from the space. Hazard gave it to me wonderfully. Her writing was great and the plot was ok, nothing stunning. After certain percent, things twisted in the unique and weird way that only Hazard knows how to do.
Harry is an Alien that was sent to earth as a punishment for reading her sister mind. But his parents didn’t know that he was actually thrilled of being on earth so this punishment was more of a gift than anything else.
Harry finds a job in a coffee shop, he adores humans and he tries to imitate them failing miserably. He’s awkward, odd and beams every time someone says his Terran name. There’s no way of not grinning every time Harry opens his mouth because everything he says is completely crazy and bloody clueless.
And of course when he meets Adam he can’t help himself by saying he’s named after the first human and he asks him if he already has his Eve…
[image]
But I guess that was all it took for Adam to be curious about this awkward kid, so he keeps coming to the coffee shop and they became friends.
Adam is obviously attracted to Harry but Harry can be considered demisexual, not to mention he’s mentally bonded to someone else and that doesn’t let him feel sexually attracted to anyone (alien stuff) but that doesn’t stop him to always grope, nuzzle and hug the poor Adam. You know that Hazard doesn’t teach her characters the concept of ‘personal space’ but I’m totally ok with that because if I were Harry I’ll always be climbing Adam like a tree.
Overall, the steamy scenes are good and Geez, I laughed a lot with the Alien’s name. It’s like Hazard type a bunch of random words on her keyboard and ta-da!!!!
Da’dfjk’akjc’ja. I guess that would be my Calluvian name.
I don’t have anything else to say because the plot isn’t that complicate it and I risk of making spoilers. This book is obviously not for everyone, I guess you have to be a fan of AH work to enjoy it and if you are not, just go with the flow and don’t question it a lot because this is obviously fiction.
I just wish that Adam and Harry had more couple quality time instead of spending too much time apart.
A great book to escape a little while from reality.

Bikers, time travel, dark magic, banter, splendid writing. What’s not to love about this book? I devoured it and I hated those moments where RL made me put the book aside because I was so engrossed I didn’t want to stop.
The whole idea of a bikers' club has always drawn me. Hot men with leather jackets, bikes, and tattoos? Pffs, please count me in.

Besides, this is a story that contains so much more that it was almost impossible for me not to love it. It’s my first book of K.A. Merikan and you can consider me a new fan of them.
Beast – 2017
Twelve years ago he was in an accident that left him disfigured. He’s 32 years old now and he has covered all his scars with tattoos that give him a look of a mean and badass biker (which he totally is but he’s also a great man underneath that horrible layer)
Laurent
He’s a 19 years old man who works as a servant in 1805. He has a long and gorgeous hair and he has always been attracted to men but due to the time, he can’t give in his desires so easily. He’s a bookworm and when he finally finds someone who shares the same passion for books as him and also seems interested in him, Laurent doesn’t hesitate and goes for it ignoring that people aren't as nice as they claim to be.
Things don’t go as expected for Laurent and he suddenly finds himself doing a pact with the devil and traveling to 2017 where he meets Beast… I won’t keep saying more of the story because there are several things that you must find out by yourself.
What I will say is that this goes directly to my shelf of favorite books. I was engrossed from beginning to end. The writing was just amazing and they were constantly quoting Inferno from Dante Alighieri and that was definitely a plus for me.
The characters were so well developed and the concept of time travel was well created. Laurent captivated me. More than once I burst laughing so hard because of him that I needed a few minutes to compose myself. His innocent and ignorance of 2017 hovered over the edge of being too funny and too endearing at the same time. Besides, Laurent’s obsession with plastic was my undoing. Tbh, now every time I see my mom’s Tupperware I’ll start hugging them because Laurent made me realized that plastic actually rocks! (and almost everything is made of plastic nowadays, how didn’t I notice that?)
Obviously, I won’t ignore Beast. He also took a part of my heart and made this story so much better because he was so freaking real! His attitude, his fears, his insecurities were so real that took my breath away because I have shamelessly thought the same way as him at one point in my life. Just like Beast with Laurent, I’ve got to resent the person I love even for the most stupid thing, which I’m not proud of. This book reminds me we are humans! We aren’t flawless and we can be mean to others just for all the wrong reasons! Sometimes, he also used to put himself first just for his own sake (just like we sometimes do) and because of that, he ended up doing some stupid shit. Thankfully he knew when to take his head out of his ass and amend things. So yeah, Beast was a reliable character and that made me loved him so much and it helps me to understand where he was coming from.
Also, I adore that Laurent was capable of seeing beyond Beast’s scars and the way these authors made them fall in love was so smooth and natural. It wasn't forced, it was so subtle and well written that you can almost miss the moment they finally fall for each other.
Another plus for me was the creepiness! The whole thing was developed in a building that used to be an asylum! Oh man, you don’t know how much I love story that gives me goose bumps and makes me want to look around to check if I am still alone in the room. Those stories are so worthy! Besides, it was like watching a horror movie. So, so great!

For me, this series just keeps improving. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars to this book because it was freaking awesome. I think this is the last book of Sloan and Dex story and Geez, it was perfect!!!
This whole book kept me grinning, laughing, swooning and sighing from beginning to end.
I can't write a proper review: first I'm writing it up from my phone and second, I'm still giggling like a stupid with that ending, I hope Sarge Tony won't be too hard with Ash and Sloan. LOL
As usual, I can't wait to start the next book. I'm so intrigued with what's gonna happen with Cael and Ash and the rest of the team, specially Cal and Hobb (Oh.My.God. I already know how hot they can be. Why can't I read these books fast enough??!!)
This continues to amaze me! This series is really good and my God, Dex is such a great character, I didn’t think it was going to be possible 4 stars.
This continues to amaze me! This series is really good and my God, Dex is such a great character, I didn’t think it was going to be possible for these books to get even funnier!!!
The story line is great; the side characters are as fascinating as the MCs. I loved learning a bit more about them and I can’t wait to get to their books ;).
I like how Dex and Sloan’s relationship is developing, these two are wonderful together. Definitely one of my favorite couples (maybe because of Dex, but whatever)
However, I can’t give it more stars because I want more shifting but that didn’t happen in here, it is easy to forget this is a book about shifters!!!!
I’m hooked! Can’t wait what’s going to happen next :)...more
I’m officially obsessed with THIRD series. I noticed they’re quite popular but if it weren’t for Wendy, I wouldn’t have started this amazing series.
II’m officially obsessed with THIRD series. I noticed they’re quite popular but if it weren’t for Wendy, I wouldn’t have started this amazing series.
It’s kinda hard to explain what this book is about and I won’t even try because it seems that everyone has already read it, I'm just getting late to the party and they already wrote amazing reviews so I'm keeping this short and sweet.
There weren’t many things I didn’t like, I actually think it was just two things:
The steamy moments.- I’d have liked more of those because Dex and Sloan are so hot together!
The mystery.- Pfft, it was easy to guess who the bad guy was, even though I was more interested in knowing the ‘why’, I would have liked that Cochet would have put my mind to work a little bit harder. Around 45% I already knew who was behind the bad things happening and it was a bummer for me because I adore a good mystery.
What I really, really like:
Dex.- God, he was SO funny, I was constantly laughing my ass off with everything he said or did. It makes the book lighter and I love he’s so caring and a little bit naïve.
Sloan.- *fanning myself* the hot jaguar shifter. Ok, this is weird, I’ve never read anything with a bunch of kittens shifter but it was awesome. Sloan is the typical broody MC with a secret past and a broken heart. It was nice seeing the contrast between him and Dex and how Dex managed to get relatively close to him. I like that Sloan embraced his attraction to Dex and he doesn’t push him away.
The team.- Every one of them was awesome! I like how they take care of each other and OH JESUS, I can’t wait to get to read Cael and Ash’s or Calvin and Hodd’s books.
The world building.- It was pretty impressive too. It’s nice to see that the author invested herself creating something good!
This book is the perfect mix of action and romance with a bit of extra that includes good banter and a steamy couple! What's there not to like? Not to mention there's not insta-love!! It's weird to find a shifter book without it because you know most shifter bonds pretty quickly so it was a nice change. I can't wait to see how Dex and Sloan relationship develops!!!...more
I was in the mood for a sports romance and this book has been on my sight long before it was released, I mean, have you seen that cover? *fanning myseI was in the mood for a sports romance and this book has been on my sight long before it was released, I mean, have you seen that cover? *fanning myself* Hot blond quarterback! Besides, the blurb adds a pierced and tattooed fellow? Yes, please.
However, I read this and I ended up with mixed feelings about it. I’m gonna be pretty straightforward and start saying what I didn’t like:
~ The beginning. What kind of friends are those!? You know your bestie is a closeted gay and why on earth would you drop a bomb like that by taking him to a massage parlor where he’s going to receive a prostate massage by a complete stranger? That was so fucking ruthless. He had his reason of why he hadn’t come out and they freaking knew them! Wasn’t it better to just say: “We know you are gay, we have your back man”? *inhales and exhales to calm my ranting mind* Well, my conclusion to this big mess was that they were college boys and sometimes they can be incredible clueless and dumb.
Apart from that, the massage was pretty hot though; I just wish that it would have started being something that Matt agreed on beforehand. It would have been better and it wouldn’t have hovered on the edge of rape. Imagine yourself having a massage and suddenly having a finger up on your ass? Impossible not to freak out!
~ The dialogues and thoughts were kind of repetitive at times. And from time to time the MCs were the biggest and the ridiculous gay cliché of history. They will hear “tits” and would say stupid shit like this:
“Hey! You’re scarring the gay guys down here”
*eye roll* oh, please.
~ Matt’s insecurities were a huge deal at the beginning and then out of the blue he thought they were silly (which they were but the change was so fast that the whole issue was a bit farfetched and it made me feel that all the problems he went through were unnecessary.)
~ The sex was hot but a bit rushy. It left me feeling cold, it was like…. “did you finish already? That fast?”
~ Matt sometimes had behaviors that were so out of character for him. The author pictures him as a sweet and smart guy but there was a scene where he was so mean to Trevor that left me cringing because it was something so unlike him. I know he was scared at that moment, but that isn’t an excuse to call your boyfriend a whore. With the image the author gave me from him, I’d never have thought he would be so insensitive and rude… Besides, I hated that Trevor forgave him so quickly, dude, make him grovel a little!
On the bright side, there were stuffs that helped me to not DNF this book.
~ I liked that Matt wasn’t a dumb jock, he was pretty smart and that was hell of attractive!
~ Trevor went through hell after outing himself to his family and I like that he managed to come out of that pretty well, he was independent and strong. I liked he fought hard building himself a future and that Matt was just a nice plus to his life because it wasn’t like something he needed.
~ The friends. They were the main reason I started liking this so much more. All of them were so funny and caring! And I kinda have to thank the secondary characters; they made this story so much better.
~ Oh, and I liked that the way things happened I didn't see them coming. I can't shut down my brain and I'm always trying to predict things (which I hate) and the way the stuff developed here were ok. I mean, I knew they were going to happen but they didn't happen in the way I imagined them to, does that make sense? Whatever, because of that, I will round up my rating.
This isn’t a flawless story and I guess is due to being a debut M/M story for this author. I mean, how else would you explain the gay clichés?
Quarterback has pretty good ratings, it’s just me that didn’t love every single detail of it, so don’t feel discouraged by me.
Avon Gale just nailed it! I’m so happy that I listened to you, Simone.

I thought it was going to be full of drama and angst because of the blurb that says Max couldn’t continue with his professional career as a hockey player thanks to an accident that involved Misha on the ice. Imagine my surprise when I see this is a feel-good story; the only one who’s got a bit angsty was Misha but as he says, is a Russian thing.
“Why did you do that? Why didn’t you take it?” “I’m Russian,” Misha said with the faintest hint of a smile. “We angst, Max”
Misha is closed off at the beginning because he’s drowning in guilt even though what happened to them was 5 years ago and he cannot believe how easy is to Max to forgive him. Max is the light in Misha’s darkness; he actually helps him to move on and to forgive himself.
“[…] getting knocked down is just part of the game. What matters is that you get back up again.”
I devoured this book in one sitting and the whole time I couldn’t stop grinning and giggling thanks to Max and Misha. Max is definitely not the smartest one between these two and I like how Misha finds that adorable, he doesn’t care that Max is terrible in geography or that he doesn’t know who won the Cold War.
“Russians were sneaky. No wonder they won the cold war. Wait… did they?”
Every time I think of Max I start laughing because I remember every single stupid thing he said or thought. I love how he knows he’s not smart and he just doesn’t care. According to Misha, he’s “indomitable.” He’ll always say what on his mind not matter what and he won’t ever shut up, not even when they were having sex but I didn’t care because it was so funny and it was so sexy seeing how Misha will shut him up *eyebrow waggle*
Oh boy, I really enjoyed this book. It has everything I like. It was sexy, it had really good banters (I liked when they were joking about Belsey), and the character and relationship development was splendid.
I liked the contrast between Max and Misha, they were completely different people, not to mention that both had different cultures and I like how they complemented each other. Max was the joyful guy and Misha was the tall and broody Russian. Their love felt real, their connection and chemistry were strong.
The side characters were amazing, the guys from the team really cracked me up and Max’s family was AWESOME. They were supportive and loving.
I only would’ve liked to have an epilogue, but I’m happy with what I got.
I know I skipped book 1 and 2 of this series but I’ll read them AFTER I read book 4 because I can’t wait to read about Isaac....more

I won’t talk about the story because this book has been around for quite some time already and I’m obviously getting late to the party.
I’m just going to say that I loved it. I adore that TJ created something so beautiful; I couldn’t help but remember Wolfsong and how much I love TJ writing style. He’s so eloquent and I should have remembered that he writes with the purpose of making you cry, swoon, laugh your ass off, roll your eyes and sigh.
The MCs were amazing, Bear drove me crazy because he was so stubborn but I loved him anyway. Otter made me swooned Every.Single.Time. Their chemistry undeniable and their love for each other swept me off my feet.
The nine-year-old ecoterrorist in training, aka the Kid, was cute. He made me laugh a lot but I found him too good to be true. I spend lots of time surrounded by kids and because of that I had a hard time believing his behavior, it doesn’t matter that they said he was nine going on sixty. Maybe if he’d been older, like 12 or something, it would have been different for me. I’m not saying there aren’t kids that smart in RL, but this was a bit too much. Don’t get me wrong, I still like him.
The friends. They’re just wow. That’s an obvious trademark of TJ. It’s just like Wolfsong. All of them were so supportive and they always stuck with Bear even when he had ‘Bear moments’ (meaning: he was a making an ass out of himself).
I don’t have anything else to say, so I’m keeping this short and sweet.
