I want to give this book 10 stars that’s how much I loved it. I’m a huge fan of E. M. Lindsey. I love a lot of authors, but E. M. Is right up close to the top of my list. It’s funny that I love her stories so much because I usually try to avoid too much angst. I know her books have a lot of angst, and this one is right up there. After I quit crying happy tears in the end I had to sit and think about it before writing a review.
As far as I know all of E. M.’s novels deal with people with disabilities. This book is no exception. Kane was abused by his ex lover who was hit by a truck after raping him. Soren had an abusive childhood followed by breaking his back so badly that he was left permanently damaged. In addition he has to deal with an ex husband who uses their son to punish him. This was a very sweet low angst love story. My only complaint is that there is simply too much inner monologue. It was pretty much the same thing from both Jett and Leighton. They both constantly worry that they have fallen in love with the other one and it will not be reciprocated. That cost the story a star from me, but I still enjoyed it....more

I would compare it to the break up at 80% that some authors use when they can’t seem to think of anything new.
I went ahead and rated this 4 stars because even with the drama can a really wonderful story. I loved Conner and Will. I also thought little Vicky was adorable. So if some unnecessary drama doesn’t bother you I recommend this book. I know I’m planning to read Jack’s story in the sequel....more

He is my all time favorite male narrator.
The story is a fake boyfriends with Hunter being straight, but needing a way to keep the ladies of Granville at bay. Clark needs to keep his grandmother from setting him up on any more blind dates like the one with the mortician. Of course love ensues. It normally takes me more than a week with an audiobook because I prefer to read my kindle. I started this book yesterday morning in the gym and finished last night.
