As an asexual person who has never wanted children or marriage, some of these conflicting feelings were lost on me. I sometimes wonder if Kabi Nagata is somewhere on the asexual spectrum, or whether she just needs to let go of conventions and specific identities and just be herself. You never know, sometimes when you become less concerned with societies' expectations of you, that freedom will lead to more opportunities in life. ...more
