In this fascinating world within the sea, every species rules within their own hierarchy schools/councils whether they are sharks, mere-folk/dolphins, or even sea dragons. Yes these creatures are shape-shifters and some can walk on land depending on which species they are. They even inter-mate with each other creating halfblooded creatures.
This is the third installment of the Ocean Shifters series and though I haven’t read the first two books in the series, this book took me a little to get into at the beginning trying to understand and get the feel of this new shape-shifter world but after about 30 or 40 pages I was totally hooked and drawn into the story not wanting to put the book down. I will definitely be reading the first two books now.
The story was amazing and I loved the idea behind the plot. The sea creature’s characters were totally awesome and their personalities fit their species. Raider (shark/mere-man), sexy tough guy and Sophia (Sea Dragon), an innocent female, encounters between each other were very comical but their erotic love scenes were totally HOT.

Hands down, out of the three books I have read in this series so far - this has got to be a favorite. My heart and praise goes out to Shandi Martin (Human) for her survival of cervical cancer. She is the perfect hero to look up too when it comes to beating cancer. Her story is captivating as she emotionally deals with life and living with the consequences from her chemotherapy and radiation treatments to beat the cancer.
With a broken heart in her past from dealing with a dick of a fiancée who left her because she couldn’t bare any children due to her cancer Shandi shows amazing strength, courage, and positive attitude towards life and guarding her heart from any future she may face.
However, meeting two firefighter hunks who claim to be her true mates has her head a spinning and their emotional attachments to each other make all thoughts and guarded walls clasping down to allow her to fall in love and enjoy the life the sexy Viking Wolf’s Rafe and Ryley shower her with.
I loved Rafe and Ryley and their past baggage of being abandon by their parents to the Gray pack just melted my heart. They are fierce as wolf’s but gentle and tender with Shandi. I think I liked Rafe the best, he seemed to be more level headed and knew immediately what he wanted out of life. Ryley on the other hand kind of fought the shock of finding his mate but the more time he spent with Shandi the clearer it became for him how he couldn’t live without her.
Warning however, their erotic ménage interludes are steaming hot – 5 Flames – get ready to cross your legs and curl your toes as your rose buds pucker up for your own climax or better yet get the cold shower ready – LOL Their endearment words will have you creaming in your pants as well – LOL Their humorous bantering between each other and with the other members in the pack will have you rolling with laughter as well. For example Shandi call’s fishing gear Doohickey’s – LMAO!
This was such a wonderful story and I have to say I think the author’s writing just continues to improve with awesome creativity. I literally couldn’t put this book down and could visually see this drama unfolding in our own world. I even tear up at the end when Shandi’s mom showed up at the end for her special day.

Amy Woods mission to hunt down the sirens who killed her sister in Orkney, Scotland leads her to a magical discovery of romance when she meets a real Selkie named Edan Kirk.
I liked Amy, I loved her weirdness of being able to see the dead and I liked Edan from the beginning too especially when Amy gets to meet him in all his naked glory. The chemistry between the two grew through out the story - HEAT RATING 3 flames.
Edan's history of a love loss and dirty baggage with the Siren's themselves added to the plot of the story. Of course the myth about the Selkies regarding true mates rings through in the end, however, I did think the story ended too quickly for me, I could of stayed in their world til the first child - LOL Oh and I loved revisiting with Edan's family seeing his mom and dad and his brothers and their families. I also thought it was a nice add to bring in different paranormal characters such as the Fae and the myth and legends of other fantasy characters like the Water Horse and Vampires. And the really neat thing is Amy's friends get a surprise of their own to match hers. Pretty cool.
The ending was very endearing and some what suspenseful with many twist and turns, it was just such a very enjoyable read. Rosanna Leo is definitely a talented writer and I look forward to reading more of her work. I recommend this awesome read to all Selkie Lovers.

Every page is illistrated with a photo of a different position with a name. The explicit photos are very eye appealing and HOT!.
What I found though was that most positions were the same but maybe had a leg lifted for a different angle so basically if you raise your arm or leg it becomes a new position. Out of the 365 positions, only 25 percent were the original position and the rest were same position but maybe the guy or gal was in reverse order or up side down for that matter.
Some of the positions looked very uncomfortable for instance the woman or man in the position of a hand stand having sex - LOL Looked like to much work for me - ha ha.
Every photograph had one to two sentences in description of the positon, there was no story line or introduction, just straight to the self explanation photo. Good thing was that the photos are of men and women and not stick people.

Jacob at some point takes on more than he bargins for but his family has his back and with the Braveness of River, the revenge against the red dragon and the council finally comes to a head. The Drakkon can live on and multiply with the purity of the Golden Dragon blood and the end of the council.
This was such a beautiful story. I wanted it to last forever. I love dragons and they are so hot.

The characters have a flare that is sexy beyond belief - made me melt. I think what I like most about Michelle Pillow's writing is it is always detailed to perfection. When she builds excitement, she doesn't make the reader wait 800 pages to get to the HEA. No, I have to say I love her happy scenes of satisfaction and I love how she gives the reader each characters feelings afterwards, you either relate to them or your mind continually ask if you've ever experienced that or know anyone who has - very thought provoking. All the characters are fun and the bantering between each brother is hilarious. I love the folk lore behind the lycans and when you add other paranormal folklore to it the story just becomes totally addicting.

Her characters always amaze me with their transformations - going from brutal beast that they are to sweet passionate lovers. I totally got Puck and from the beginning I was on his side. As far as Gillian goes, I'm glad she went from wimpy to kick A$$ Raider.
This book was brilliant in my eyes because life is not a given and sometimes things work out for the best. In the past books I always thought Gillian was a nuisance and really didn't care for her because everyone felt sorry for her or treated her like she was a fragile piece of glass. I mean, come on, William was a man whore and it's gonna take someone a lot tougher and just as magically conceited and delicious as he is to fix his dilemma.
The world these Lords of the Underworld live in and the other realms that we learn that exist. always capture the perfect fantasy get away I'd love to stay in. I think that's why I love this series so much. The character's demon themselves personalities draw me in too. Just think, Gena is not only building one character but she is building two characters into one. It's a given that I love mermaid stories but these stories have a built history behind them from not only the previous books but the author gives a insight to their past that is just heart breaking and in her stories they get redemption in their soul searching truth with their true mates.

This is an amazing story. I was a little confused at first because I was expecting to learn more about Verona and Bailey (Merman who helped Verona survive once she was exiled from their clan). But that's not what we get, no Verona's fate brings her to rescue the human Logan.
Logan is an awesome character that I fall in love with immediately. He lives with his grand mother Mama Wend and all his life after his mother passed his grandmother has traveled the world with him until now when they come back to their home. He is a very considerate young man, handsome, sexy, and has a heart of gold but he's not one to push around and several times he has been forced to hold his own and protect the weak Alex.
Unfortunately he becomes the butt of the joke at a boat party from a bully and ends up diving off a boat into the ocean to save his new friend Alex's watch. While in water the boat of partying friends leaves him behind in the middle of the ocean and this is where Verona comes in.
The story is amazing and I fell in love with Moma Wend immediately also. There is something special about her right off.
The author makes it easy for the reader to dive right into this world and it's surroundings. I love the fact that Verona learns that there are others of her kind living secretly amongst the humans around her, but the more she learns the more dangerous it becomes for her especially if she leaves the island.
As the story goes along, Logan's long lost father shows up mysteriously and it's still not too clear what his role will play in the future, and it's not clear why he left Logan with his grandmother after his mother died. Hopefully this will all be revealed in the next book - just so many unanswered questions.
I loved the closeness and buildup between Verona and Logan. All the characters just get to you and you just have to hang on to their every word and action. This story just gripped me from the start and I couldn't put it down. I cant wait for the next book. I look forward to learning more about these paranormal creatures of werewolves, witches, etc.... I look forward to learning if Verona ever gets happiness.
And what about Bailey. All through out the book we really didn't hear of him til towards the end when he makes an appearance to confront Verona into making a decision. I have to say I didn't like the way Bailey acted, he seemed mean. In the prequel, I rooted for him but after his interactions in this book, he seem to turn like his mean brother. I thought it was cool that Verona realizes that the fears and stories she learned from her clan were false. She even has some power and the fact that there are others like her on the island really opens her eyes to her clans dishonesty.
There is just so much to this world that I hope the author gives us more of both the mermaid world and the paranormal world on land. Everything is in place for the perfect climax with well built characters and a small island full of magic surrounding it - So please don't leave us hanging.

I really liked the way the author writes and even though the book is a cliff hanger which I absolutely hate, I have to say I couldn't wait to find out what happens next between Verona and Bailey or if she goes on with her life on shore or into another clan. I absolutely loved this mermaid world even though I hate anyone being a bottom feeder (being bullied where only the strongest survive). But the suspense drew me in and Verona's strength won my heart and as far a Bailey, I'm not so sure things will work out but I hope he comes to his senses and tells his clan to take a hike. We will see hopefully in next book.
