Other than one or two that I didn't really enjoy, I would have loved for all of these to have been longer (even more perfect if they were expanded into novels) and more developed, but it was a good anthology nevertheless.

In one hand he's able to heal others, but on the other hand he believes that he has to save everyone even when they don't want to be saved and it takes a toll on him. Dane helps him to understand that it's not his responsibility to make everything right.
And OMG, the dream about the desert shoes was wonderful! Dane is good for Court.

I can't wait for the next book (which methinks has Matt written all over it) and hopefully we get to see how the Rocking W evolves into what Luke's envisioned.

And gosh, the villain was really so despicable, and I like that in crime books. I found the ending a bit abrupt with things still hanging in the air and them still on the run. I don't think there's a sequel either so that's a bummer.

The characters just didn't click with me, especially the whole deal with Trey's continued and professed innocence and his sister's bitchiness all because of her personal feelings toward him.
But honestly, once Kuro got really invested in helping him out, the book eventually grew on me and I enjoyed the latter half. Kuro is awesome. Kuro needs a sequel.
