Después de haber leído las anteriores trilogías de Blue Jeans llevaba un tiempo detrás de La chica invisible . Primero porque es un thriller y es un género que me apasiona y, segundo, porque tenía curiosidad por saber cómo llevaría el género Blue Jeans y en qué resultaría su estilo en un género como este. Lo cierto es que me ha gustado mucho, no me esperaba para nada su resolución y empezaré la siguiente novela intrigada por saber hacia dónde se dirigirá la trilogía ahora. Lo primero que me ha llamado la atención de La chica invisible ha sido la clara madurez de estilo del autor desde sus anteriores obra hasta esta. En esta novela me he encontrado con personajes que tenían tonos y pensamientos más adultos, una narración conseguida y cercana y en sí mismo un lenguaje que me ha parecido maduro y muy evolucionado. Sus personajes me han gustado mucho también. Julia es una protagonista muy interesante y lo cierto es que me ha encantado ver el retrato de una mujer joven tan inteligente a la que se la valora por sus habilidades y capacidades. Con una protagonista fuerte, empoderada e inteligente el libro solo podía empezar bien. El resto de personajes también me han gustado mucho y, especialmente, ver cómo se retrata al colectivo LGTBI en momentos tan necesarios como este y hasta se habla de violencia de género. También me ha encantado las relaciones de sororidad entre chicas en la obra, ver cómo Julia y otras mujeres establecen lazos a pesar de que hay hombres que intentan impedirlo. En concreto la resolución entre Vanesa y Julia me ha fascinado y creo que da grandes ejemplos para el público del autor. La trama también me ha gustado. He leído en algunas reseñas que era predecible y me pregunto si esos lectores tienen un quinto sentido desarrollado que yo no, porque siendo lectora habitual de thriller, situaría a La chica invisible entre las novelas de misterio cuya resolución me ha sido totalmente inesperada. Tuve sospechas de todos los personajes excepto del culpable y me ha gustado mucho cómo se ha cerrado la trama de asesinatos. También la solvencia que ha tenido el autor para mantenerme enganchada desde el principio, sorprendiéndome con giros y dejándome con ganas de leer su continuación. En resumen, si no habéis leído nada de Blue Jeans os recomiendo que empecéis por esta novela; y si lo habéis hecho y aun no la habéis leído, también. Me ha gustado leer un thriller juvenil tan adictivo y completo, que trate de manera interseccional cuestiones de género, del colectivo LGBTI y esas cuestiones de identidad y sexo con las que lidian los jóvenes día a día....more

Empecé a leer La danza de los tulipanes con altas expectativas debido a las buenas opiniones que había cosechado en redes sociales; también porque soy una apasionada del género y tenía muchas ganas de leer algo policíaco. Sin embargo, pronto empecé a desconectar de la historia hasta el punto en el que solo quería acabarla por conocer al asesino y poder dar por finalizada la lectura. Me ha decepcionado y dejado fría en tanto que no terminé de conectar con la historia y, sinceramente, tampoco me ha gustado como esperaba. Quizá el problema de La danza de los tulipanes no es la idea base en sí misma, que en general me gusta y creo que es original dentro del género; si no el ritmo y los personajes. Por algún motivo que todavía no he desentrañado, no he sido capaz de conectar con los personajes ni tampoco me he enganchado como esperaba. La trama está bien, es muy elaborada, hay giros, personajes que entran y salen y no sabes por dónde coger y, en sí mismo, tiene una historia que está bien planificada. Aun así esperaba algo más de la trama, quizá que se saliera de la línea que llevaba. La narración se intercala, teniendo pasajes del asesino y otros de los protagonistas. Sinceramente me parecía innecesaria la narración del asesino y se me hizo finalmente repetitiva. Sobre los personajes y el ritmo. No he conectado con ninguno de los protagonistas. Especialmente la protagonista femenina se me ha hecho tediosa y a veces hasta desagradable. Creo que no empatizo con protagonistas que no están creados para que el lector los ame; y de hecho he llegado a plantearme dejar de leer este libro por sus personajes porque me resultaban repetitivos y aburridos. Me gustó que en un determinado momento se planteara la corrupción policial pero aun así estos policías "buenos" siempre se me atragantan en la garganta. También porque la protagonista se enfrenta en su familia a un caso de violencia de género y la manera en la que se gestiona desde el resto de los personajes, tachándola a veces de agresiva y violenta con su padre (que es el maltratador) no me ha gustado y me parece que está fuera de la onda de la realidad. El ritmo por supuesto también me ha supuesto un problema, demasiadas páginas para la trama con la que cuenta. En resumen, un thriller que no ha terminado de conectar conmigo, que tampoco me ha gustado del todo y con el que no he conectado....more

Mientras que la tercera parte me decepcionó y me pareció demasiado floja, esta cuarta sube muchísimo el ritmo, mejora la trama y es totalmente adictiva. Seguramente el libro que más me ha gustado de todos los que llevo de la saga. Me ha dejado muchísimas ganas de leer el quinto y hace que merezca la pena empezar a leer esta saga porque menudo novelón. Los personajes siguen avanzando, se añaden nuevos, hay muchísimos giros y cada vez nos acercamos más a un final inevitable. Totalmente recomendable. ...more

Ya a simple vista se ve que es el libro más finito de la saga y eso hizo que me saltaran las alarmas. Ahora entiendo que es la típica novela intermedia de saga que es decepcionante y está un poco de puente para las siguientes. Aun así insisto en que me ha gustado y ya estoy leyendo la cuarta que adelanto que me está gustando mucho. Sigo recomendando leer esta saga, merece la pena si os gusta la distopía y buscáis algo diferente. Creo que el hecho de que sus protagonistas sean menores de quince años le dan una perspectiva muy distinta y es sorprendente cómo los seres humanos luchan para sobrevivir en cualquier circunstancia. Eso sí, la tensión se mantiene y el misterio que rodea la historia es muy potente. ...more
