Been over a year since I read the first 6 issues and I'd forgotten how much fun this was. It's trick seems to be to distract you with boob and dick jokes (which are awesome) and then when you least expect it, you suddenly realise you reading a really good story. Wonderful characters, great plotting, I can't wait to read the next one. However there is one thing Alan Moore is particularly fond of that I'm not. Big hunks of prose to give depth to the world and provide alternative insights. If I'm in the mindset of reading graphic novels I hit these sections like a brick wall. Usually I just leave them until later and read them separately to the rest. Also, I don't particularly get much from them. I always feel like we're seeing the prep and research done to create the finished product. Alan, I don't need to see your working....more
