So I still have some issues with this authors writing style, maybe because I find myself eye rolling a fair bit, but in all honesty even when I'm eye rolling I'm usually laughing, so it's not that I don't enjoy her books, but there's definitely something in each that makes me cringe even when they all make me laugh and sigh. I love the action and the sexy times and overall they're all really great reads. I found this A LOT more bearable than the last two (even though I greatly enjoyed them also) and I think it was because the heroine WASNT a dragon so her personality and actions weren't over the top and those crazy mindsets those girls had (hero definitely was the same). I did however find her a bit stupid. Get sent a tape? Sure go check out in unknown place sent by an anonymous person! And then when chased by 'demons' run back to the creepy guarded place that's shifty as hell even when the guard ominously threatened you. She's hella dumb for a smart gal.
Overall the storyline was super interesting and now I finally get Sue-Ellen's story!! Woooo!! Also very eager to see where these books are going as they're all set in the same world. Just putting it out there thanks to all the mentions in this book but I'd for sure love a mermaid or fae series. I'd buy the shit outta that.

He was still a tall, kinda strong man, but wasn't some alpha who taught (although he CAN fight), and he's a hacker (along with the heroine). He spent a lot of time feeling emasculated by Adi always doing all the fighting and stuff, but I actually enjoyed that more than if it was the opposite, I mean he IS human. I also loved that (view spoiler)[ he never changes into something other than human (hide spoiler)], mainly because I liked it the way it was. Adi is the reason for the missing star I think because she got on my nerves with her personality (the world revolves around her, but it's because she's 'awesome') and while she was super bubbly and in your face i got tired of it quickly, but other than that a great addition and SUPER eager for that next one from the epilogue!

Still had the great humour and some action, I'm very interested in the next book from the little glimpse we get, because while I hated that brother, we see him cowering in fear and I can totally see him being redeemed. I also did feel a little bad for him even when I hated him because he was bought up to be a dick but man did he get on my nerves.

I really enjoyed this short story! There’s an old lady ghost in their house and they have a party and tell her story. A nice short in between read.

This was too similar too the first groups last book for me to keep interest.
