Enshrouded with an aura of dark sadness, Crossing is hard to put down, the writing, mesmorizing. A book better read than described & a good adult read w/ YA appeal for savvy teens....more

I won't lie: I wanted to LOVE this one -- & in some ways I did. I mean c'mon, the title alone renders it worthy of "best of the year status." UniquelyI won't lie: I wanted to LOVE this one -- & in some ways I did. I mean c'mon, the title alone renders it worthy of "best of the year status." Uniquely irreverent & delightfully vulgar, right down the author's blurb. The particular brand of humor, however, a little too "Heathers" (old school Wynona Rider flick, remember?) for my taste.
