“If you only shine light on your flaws, all your perfects will dim.”
Hands down one of CoHo's saddest books, it's definitely up there with Hopeless and Too Late. I woke up with a headache from all the crying last night. I would advise being in the right mood to read it because it can be emotionally draining, especially if you're not in the right mindset.
All Your Perfects was so different from the books I usually read. The issues dealt with are more mature than the usual plots I go for and that was super interesting. Although I wasn't able to relate to some of the things the characters were going through, I could definitely empathise with them.
One of my favourite things about this book is the way it describes long term relationships and marriages.
“Our marriage hasn’t been perfect. No marriage is perfect. There were times when she gave up on us. There were even more times when I gave up on us. The secret to our longevity is that we never gave up at the same time.”
I don't think I can do this book justice with a review. If I had to describe it in one word it would be 'important'.

*sigh* I really wanted to like this book, and I went into it with super high expectations, but it just fell really flat for me. There isn't really anything in particular that I didn't like about it, but it didn't blow me away. Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda is just your typical YA coming of age story.
Overall, this was a good book but I was expecting SO much more out of it.
I feel like I would have been impacted by this book way more had I read it a few years ago.
