It was like a creepy, horror story vibes book and it really kept me engaged while reading. If that is your type of book. I would recommend you give it a try. I am a really emotional person so I kinda had some teary moments in the book, but I genuinely really enjoyed this book. Even though I have never experienced grief before, but with how this author writes this book and how she deeply portrays and represents the storyline, plot and characters of this book I really enjoyed it. It was really amazing seeing the bond of Laine and her brother Leslie, it was really heart warming and I loved reading how the bond develops between Greyson (Leslie best friend, her brother) and Laine. I like that this has a mix of different genres like thriller, mystery and many more in which I truly love. All I really have to say is, I really liked how this author wrote this story. And based on the ending of this book it makes me want to read the second book to find out more which is a plus for me. This book is truly a mystery type of book where I kept trying to figure things out and it also made me keep second guessing things, which makes a really good mystery book in my opinion. I honestly did not expect some things that happened in the book. I really wished/hoped that this book had a kinda of better ending, but it was a mysterious ending. Maybe there will be a second book?
