This book has characters in their 40s because everyone deserves a chance at love! Cassie is a workaholic after her divorce. She dove into work because she didn't have anything else. All Wyatt has done his whole life is work, so he quits his billionaire business and becomes a bartender in the Caribbean to live the fun life.
I went back to what I'm known for in this book- secret billionaires on beach vacations! I have two sequels already planned (Julia and Brianna get their happy endings!) and a possible novella for Janessa! I loved having two brothers as two different love interests. I usually only have the one hero, so this was a fun shift away from that. Love triangles can be fun!

I had a blast writing this one. I wanted to up the stakes on the traditional marriage of convenience trope, and what better way to do that than by having a baby!
I loved writing the bad guys in this book. They were so delightfully scummy that I literally cackled as I wrote them. It reminded me of writing the stepmother in "American Cinderella" because it is was wonderful to be bad :D...more

This book took me a little bit longer to write than usual. I couldn't find my characters for a long time, and then, once I did, they changed their story on me! But, I think it works out for the best :D
Seriously, writing this while I was pregnant was rough. I knew the story and I could see the characters in my head- bBaby brain is a real thing, guys.
Seriously, writing this while I was pregnant was rough. I knew the story and I could see the characters in my head- but I could not seem to get it on paper. I'd sit down and stare at a screen for hours- or the words would be so choppy and disorganized that I'd have to redo it all anyway.
But, the story came through! It just took me a little longer than I wanted (and the majority of it was written one the baby was on my lap rather than in it!)
I hope you all enjoy the love story of AJ and Kat. I loved writing it (once I could write)

It's a take on the classic Cinderella story, but moved to modern day with a spunky heroine and an awesome Prince Charming. There's mistaken identity and love and so much more!
I hope that you all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. Cinderella is one of my favorite fairy tales, so it's so much fun to write versions on it!
This book started out as the serial, "A Baby for My Billionaire Stepbrother" under my erotica pen name. I never expected it to hit the Top 100. I Wow.
This book started out as the serial, "A Baby for My Billionaire Stepbrother" under my erotica pen name. I never expected it to hit the Top 100. I never expected to have Amazon block it from sale.
And now, here it is- with the final segment- available in novel form. I can't tell you how stressful the process was (working with a giant corporation who you don't want to make angry is the kind of thing that gives people ulcers). But, it's out!
So, get it while Amazon has us on their good side, because if they decide to kill it again, there's no coming back from the grave twice.
NOTE: This is probably the steamiest, rough-language book in my Krista catalog. I drop the f bomb several times. There is a lot of scorching hot sex. (Remember, it was originally 5 parts+ 1 new part and each part had at least one sex scene.)
But, I hope you like it. I hope it scratches the Stepbrother fever that is going around!...more

When I wrote Sunrise Kisses, I loved Charlotte's character and I couldn't wait to have her fall in love with the crush of her life, Leo. It was so easy for the two of them to fall together, but I knew there had to be a reason why they stayed apart. Leo feels that he doesn't deserve Charlotte, because he has lied to her for as long as he's known her. He feels she deserves someone better than him. Then comes the blackmail. Blackmail and regret. Two things that go hand in hand.
I am excited to finish out this trio with Gabe's book. I just have to find his heroine, but I think I know where to look!...more

I loved the premise of a call girl falling for her customer and the complications that could arise. Friends wouldn't stop talking about it. I picked up the first book, not really knowing what to expect, and I was hooked. I scorched through the next 10 (at that time) books and sat eagerly awaiting the email announcement for the next.
Something about Miss Black really appealed to me as I read the books. There was such mystery and power behind her, with a hint of tragedy. I had already started coming up with my own little pet theories about her past as I read, but I didn't have a way to write them myself. Thus, when I heard that Ms. Ward was opening up her characters to Kindle Worlds, I was ecstatic. Ms Ward has created such a rich and dynamic universe of characters that it was a pleasure to write in it. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to put my own spin on Miss Black and give her the back-story that I craved. I loved putting her in the situations that created the Miss Black that we all know and hate and twisting her into what she would become. I'm incredibly grateful to Ms. Ward for giving authors everywhere the chance to visit her universe and let us play in it for a little while. This has been a wonderful experience and I hope that readers enjoy it as much as I did.

“We’ll go over your rules in the car, Dean,” Rachel cut in, hustling me down the hallway. “We’re on a tight schedule today.” “Of course Ms. Weber,” Dean said smoothly, tipping his head. “As you wish.” Rachel gave him a brief smile before shooing me into the elevator."
And people did!! I got lots of emails from readers asking if Dean and Rachel could have their story. So, I gave them one.
My husband was in the army, so he was a great inspiration for Dean. Plus, I loved that I got to write about a soldier. There is something about those military men that I can't get enough of. I'm so glad I was able to give Dean and Rachel the happily ever after they deserve. I love that they got a second chance at finding their happiness and that readers everywhere have responded so nicely to it!...more
When I wrote Saltwater Kisses, I had no idea that it would go to the Top 100 in the kindle store for a month. I mean, I hoped it would, butOh, Jack :)
When I wrote Saltwater Kisses, I had no idea that it would go to the Top 100 in the kindle store for a month. I mean, I hoped it would, but every book is kind of like a lottery ticket. The first day it hit the list, I sat on the computer hitting refresh every 5 minutes just to make sure it was real and not a glitch. Even then, I kept expecting an email from Amazon saying it was all a mistake. Well, over a year later and it's still going strong!
When I was writing Saltwater, I really, really wanted to add in some things from Jack's viewpoint, but I didn't want to "Head hop". There are some authors that can switch characters so flawlessly that I don't have to even read the heading at the beginning of the chapter to know that the voice has changed, but I wasn't sure I was one of them. Plus, I wasn't sure that it was the right choice for Saltwater Kisses to have two voices. (I'm going to go ahead and say that Top 100 status means I made the right choice!) So, I kept the entire book in first person.
But Jack's thoughts kept popping out at me.
So, as a bonus to fans, I re-wrote the first half of Saltwater Kisses from Jack's point of view. It has Brandy, the secretary that took the photos and forced Emma to move to NY. It has the party (which means I got to bring in Owen, Robbie, Noah, Logan, and Aiden!) Rachel and Dean got to get in on the fun. (Oh how I love the brother/sister/boss/assistant relationship those two have going on!) It was a BLAST to get to go through all the current Kisses books and bring it all together :)
Yes, in reading it, you will see a lot of repeats from other books. That's the danger of doing the same story from another point of view (all the dialogue and actions have to match!) but hopefully, I changed it up enough that it feels familiar rather than repeated.
I hope you all enjoy this short novella from Jack. Thank you for reading!...more

Aiden and Lena had their love story all worked out in my head, but then they kept trying to mess it up! It's funny how characters take on lives of their own sometimes!
This is very strongly based on Cinderella, and it was a lot of fun to modernize the old fairy tale and make it into something new and fresh.
Just in case you missed it, here's an easy comparison: Lena Masterson= Cinderella Aiden Hayes= Prince Charming Kathryn McDonald= Fairy godmother (and named for two of my very good friends) Alexa Jones and Calvin Abrams= Evil stepmother/sister Caribbean= ball Darcie Erickson= Gus Gus (also named for a friend!)
And of course there is a missing shoe! (Which makes the title that much better!)
I hope you all enjoy this latest in the Kisses series! Thank you all so much for giving me the opportunity to tell these stories :)...more

As I wrote this, Olivia and Logan kept giving me more of their back-story. I loved the idea of a love at first sight, but that the world just kept getting in their way. The fact that Logan pines after her for two years kept me falling for him.
