mild spoilers !!!
i dont have much to say except i LOVED this. absolute perfection. it was short and sweet and the perfect way to start autumn. i do wish it was longer though because the mystery felt half done? like we couldve gotten way more out of it but its okay it was made to be a novella. the ending felt a little abrupt too but again im totally fine with that. the book ends when the sun comes up thats the point. idk i really just loved the character dynamics and the writing and the mystery. rio knows EXACTLY how to write the unlikely found family trope (aka my favorite trope) <3 i love silly wacky plots and fun story lines. also the theme of insomnia and sleep was very fitting seeing as i finished this at 1am. overall this was just super fun and cute and the vibes were giving

edie she was so cutie patootie i love her sm. shes also lowkey so me i mean shes a journalist and that what im going to major in idkkk i just love her.
tuck HE. IS. ME. idk what else to say i love him sooooo much and his friendship (?) with theo was just perfect ajkasjskjksa
theo hes like that guy that everyone is intimidated by but hes just a little softie. all he wanted to do was impress chelsea, poor guy. anyways yeah loved him sm

I would like to start out by saying that I know this series isn't perfect. There is a lot wrong with it and there are a lot of flaws. Sometimes the plot is predictable and sometimes the characters are annoying. However… I don’t care :) This is one of my favorite series ever ever after the Cruel Prince ofc. I admit that not all the books I like are necessarily considered "masterpieces". And that's fine. Just because something "isn't good" doesn't mean it's not enjoyable amiright?
