i am shocked that i held out for this long . a teacher whom i LOATHE discovered i read and recommended me her favorite book , veronika decides to die . unfortunately, this book takes on the same motif of her classes, dressing itself in interesting concepts and purporting an idea of depth when actually it proves to be the exact opposite . not only do i believe this to be a boring, flaccid take on suicidal ideation and the mentally ill, but i was promised interesting musings on philosophy… so where is that ? please send me an annotated copy highlighting parts that are seen as such . i cannot believe i let a woman like her submit her input in my report cards . she is audacious and condescending and most of all has a TERRIBLE taste in books . 1.25 ....more
