Drive-ins, queer chosen family, second chance romance, aspec rep, and an absolutely charming plot based around giving a shunned, recluse female director the cinematic justice she deserves while fighting for what you believe in. Summer rom-com perfection.
As this is solidly new adult, I also see this having a lot of crossover appeal with teens, in addition to adult romance fans! Everything about it just made me so happy. I can't wait to read more of Timothy's work....more

Benny is the sweetest bean, and Reese's struggle with harassment, trolls, and misogyny hits so hard (and I think will be especially important/impactful/relatable for teen readers). The Seattle and Friends of Flavor set-up/setting was super fun, and the nicknames, particularly the Ben ones, were my FAVORITE. A true delight....more
