Casey does that. He loves sex so he has sex with, like, everyone. He’s flirty and sweet. It’s not that I didn’t like him, I just couldn’t relate.
Even when he knows he has feelings for Landon, he still decides to have sex with someone else for “fun”.
Okay, maybe i could have “gotten on board” with that, if he hadn’t then said to himself the next day, “it was 5 star sex, so great”, or whatever.
Wha?? How can it be that great if you’re totally into someone else? See? I just don’t get it.
I do like that once he and Landon got together, Casey had no interest in fucking anyone else (even though Landon offered for Casey to have sex with other people since they’d be a part for a while).
All in all, it was an interesting read but nothing about it blew me away. ...more

I devoured this book. I loved this story. I ached for Malachi and Isaac. I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the pages. The tension was sizzling-off-the-charts. The sex was steamy and yet so heart felt. The topic wasn’t easy, but it was written out so heart-wrenchingly perfect.
The love that Malachi and Isaac have for each other? Incredible. Out-of-this-world. All-consuming. Heaven-and-hell-defying. Beautiful. Sappy sweet. Hot AF. All together A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The kind of love and purpose and happiness I want.
This love story was so beautiful, that I didn’t want it to end, yet at the same time I did. Because I wanted to see their HEA. I wanted to feel that happy feeling I get at knowing the MCs have their wonderfully, beautiful, HEA life ahead of them.
I got that here. It’s been a while since I’ve loved an MM romance like this. It’s so hard to find one that has heart, depth, steam, beauty, and everlasting love WITHOUT the manwhore, sex-thrown-out-there-carelessly, or the past-multiple-sexual-partners the readers have to be subjected to reading about. Ugh.
I had begun to give up on reading MM romance because I am so over the redundant bullshit that authors think is originality.
Here, we’re shown that having sex with 500 different people doesn’t make you “hotter”. Listing the “steamy past sexual encounters” doesn’t endear the MC to the reader. For me, it just disgusts me.
Back to happy thoughts. I loved this. I just PURE AND SIMPLY LOVED IT.
Thank you, Lynn Burke, for writing this piece of beautiful literature.
I’m scared to read anything else of hers…because my expectations are high and I don’t want to be let down when I discover Burke’s other books have the BS I’ve come to loathe.
I’ll just bask in the glow of Malachi and Isaac for a while....more
Okay...so clearly I'm in the minority. Like, really in the minority. But I must be honest with my rating and review.

First off, I was not blown away. This is my first book by J.R. Gray. I read it because I was intrigued by the description of the story.
So, I'm just going to get right into what was interesting and what I liked, and what I didn't like.
For anyone who's read any of my other reviews, you may have come across me saying...I CAN'T STAND IT WHEN THE AUTHOR DOESN'T GIVE US A PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION OF ONE OR BOTH OF THE MCs!!!!! ...more
