A hot night in Vegas is just what the rockstar ordered…until someone ends up married.
Michael Shawcross is living the dream, opening up for his idols, Oblivion, on his band Warning Sign’s first tour. Until an overzealous fan goes too far and his hard-partying ways catch up to him in the form of an ultimatum from his manager, Lila Crandall.

Clean up your image—or else.

Single mom Chloe Adams is in Vegas for a rare girls’ night out. She wasn’t ever supposed to be attracted to another rockstar. In fact, she’s in rockstar rehab, and the cure for her addiction definitely isn’t a sexy, smart-assed guitarist with wicked fingers.

She never expects to accidentally end up his wife. Or to have her new husband suddenly decide that she’s the solution to all his problems. And surprise…he’s happy to show his appreciation in a number of interesting, inventive ways.

Pretending their marriage is real might just be the hottest proposition she’s ever been given.

But what happens when a lie becomes the truth?

The moment he touched her, something happened between them. Something bigger than she could name. And she hated it as much as she craved it.

I've been a huge fan of both these authors since I was first introduced to their boys of Oblivion in Rocked. There's just something about the rockstars that they write that do it for me. Each and every single time. And each and every single time I think to myself that it can't get any better than THIS man, and then they introduce us to their next rocker. Well I can say with utmost certainty that Bedded Bliss may very well be one of my favorite books they've written to date. It had EVERYTHING I love in a romance; a swoony hero, a sassy heroine, a delicious slow burn romance, angst and emotion, all wrapped around a story that will keep you reading well into the night.
She stood out for him like a jewel, glittering so brightly that even the dazzling array of lights that shimmered at the edges of his vision couldn't compete.

If you've read the Lost in Oblivion series , then you'll definitely appreciate this book a LOT more since all your favorites will appear. And if you haven't, you can easily start with this one and not be lost. This is a spin-off from the Lost in Oblivion series, and as such, there are plenty of references and cameos that amy be lost on you if you haven't read the series yet. I think fans of that series will love this one even more because we get more time with all our favorites *cough* Nick *cough*
The daughter of a crackwhore mother and an alcoholic father had not been an ideal start in life.

Chloe Adams hasn't exactly had it easy in life. If you've read Lost in Oblivion, then her dead fiancé will definitely sound familiar to you. Snake caused plenty of trouble for Oblivion before his drug overdose. Suing your former bandmates has definitely left an impression. And being his fiancee and mother of his child certainly left a stigma on Chloe. She's in rockstar therapy. She wants a nice, stable man in her life, but that doesn't mean she's ready to date. Her adorable son Axl is her main concern, and she works 3 jobs to make sure she's able to do that.

But then one trip to Las Vegas to let loose a little with her friends turns into something more when she meets Michael Shawcross, the guitarist for Warning Sign, and exactly the sort of man she's sworn to avoid.
Backstage pass, hell. He'd give her a bedroom pass, then tie her to his headboard right through the next morning.

Michael is living the dream opening up for bands like Oblivion. His band is not big time yet, but they're definitely getting there. And his constant presence in the tabloids due to an overzealous and engaged woman isn't high up on his priorities anymore. He craves something more and the second he lays eyes on Chloe, it all comes into crystal clear focus. They may have history together, but he's never seen her as the wild and free woman that dances at his concert, and he knows nothing can keep him away from getting her.
I'm going to kiss you."
"Where?" she murmured, and he groaned.
"Let's start with right here." He tapped his thumb against her lips and they parted for him, dark red and slickly wet.

This was a deliciously slow building romance, which is just how I like it. I love that slow burn. It hurts so good. And Cari and Taryn definitely made it burn here...until it exploded...and then it gets even better!

This book had everything! It was sexy, emotional, angsty, and with just the right amount of humor to make for the perfect feel-good read.
How are you still hard."
"Young and studly," he said with a grunt. "And making you come is my Zen place."
"Zen away," she said and dug her ankles into his butt.

There was some tension added from outside elements of their relationship, like Lila and Michael's father and their past, but it all just worked here. I loved the way Michael pursued Chloe. It should have been insta-love and cheesy, but yet it was perfect! Such is the magic of these two authors.

I loved the set up of all the new band members and I already know I need Mal's book in my life. If rockstars are your thing and you like them angsty AND steamy, then you, my friend, have found yourself a new series to obsess over. I sure as hell did!

Bedded bliss is like a hot fudge Sunday. It’s deliciously hot and sweet and all sorts of great.

Entertainment capital of the world? Sure, why not! But for Michael Shawcross and Chloe Adams it’s the marriage capital of the world even if they don’t remember.

Michael and his band may not be the biggest sensation yet, but they’re building momentum and getting there. His rock star lifestyle have certainly garnered press, but that’s something he’d rather do without. Opening for bands like Oblivion and playing alongside his friends and brother is what really matters. And when the most beautiful woman in the world is enraptured by his performance everything takes on a new meaning because the chemistry between them is so potent he’ll do anything to keep her, even when she comes as a two for one package.

Taking advantage of an atypical baby free weekend, Chloe Adams heads to Vegas with her friends for some fun. She never would have imagined that while there she’d be hopelessly attracted to a rock star, something she swore would never happen again after her fiancée past away. Especially not the smart-ass guitarist from Warning Sign. But after a night of too much alcohol she wakes up with a huge rock on her finger. What’s even more shocking is her new husband’s desire to stick it out. Can they actually make it work and find their happy ever after?

I started out reading Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott almost by accident. But it certainly wasn’t chance that has made me come back for more over and over again. I fell hard for their skilled writing. Their incredible descriptions especially the ones that have to do with music which automatically transport me to the best concerts ever. I also relish the plots and characters, especially the interaction between all the interconnecting characters in a series and crossovers which makes them not only family but also dear friends I love to visit. Bedded Bliss is no exception to any of this. We get cameos from Harper, Jazz, Nick and of course Lila along with this entirely new band of guys and girls I can’t wait to get to know.

Michael Shawcross is definitely going on my book boyfriend list. I had met him briefly in the Lost in Oblivion series and thought of him as Lila’s too young, bratty stepson. A few years later though, he’s still young and maybe a little lost, but he’s one of the sweetest and kind hearted dirty talker I’ve ever met. I loved how loyal and devoted he is. How he took responsibility for his actions and made the most of it.

Chloe is a hardworking and devoted mother of a cute, rambunctious toddler. Even though she had made mistakes in the past she now has a shining guiding light, her baby boy. So I understand her reluctance to let a known bad boy rock star into her life when it was a rock star that left her as a single mother.

Watching them fall in love was though was super sweet. Even when the timeline wasn’t exactly normal and they seemed to come from different worlds, they found in each other what they needed. Michael never having a caring family of his own and two parents who desecrated their wedding vows, is determination to have Chloe and Axl be a part of his life, to make her see that they could be a happy family, that he could be a good and trustworthy father to her son and a reliable husband to her was totally swoon worthy, and I haven’t even mentioned the delectable sexy times!

Bedded Bliss is kickoff book #1 in the Found in Oblivion series by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott and a spinoff of the Lost in Oblivion series. It’s a scorching hot and sweet read perfect for any rock romance lover. It’s told from alternating points of view with a happy ending.

Michael Shawcross is the lead guitarist for the band Warning Sign and his personal life is getting too much notoriety. He's no real bad boy but his freewheeling "love life" is causing trouble as he takes advantage of the groupie pool. That is until one night, during a performance in Las Vegas, he has a fiery, heart-grabbing connection with Chloe Adams. She's a single mother of a 2-year old toddler and the ex-fiancée of Snake, Oblivion's former troublesome drummer. What happens next doesn't stay in Vegas!

These two on the surface don't appear to be compatible at all but who knew Michael craved so desperately what Chloe brings to the party. She was on a rare getaway from her struggling-to-make-ends-meet world and son. It was just their time as this wasn't the first time they'd met but neither could resist each other. While it seemed lust at first sight, these two had a true heart connection that took time to develop into a relationship of substance. And, Chloe's son Axl just brought cuteness in every one of his scenes, even when it was a terrible twos tantrum.

Michael is somewhat of an acquired taste and it took a bit for me to warm up to him. But, in the end, he's just irresistible. Chloe is just wonderful in her devotion and commitment to her son. Their opposites brought out the very best in each other. Be forewarned, though, that their interludes burn up the pages. I was worried about reading this before finishing the Lost in Oblivion series (I've two books to go) but it was not an issue. I enjoyed seeing members of that band making appearances here and loved everything about this wonderful story.

Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

I didn't think I could love Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott any more than I already did, but then they had to go and write a new rock star series and give us one of the sweetest, gentlest, and kind yet dirty talking rock star ever. On top of that they pair him with a struggling, hard working, prideful single mom and they throw in one hell of a cute kid and chemistry that singes your fingers as you swipe your e-reader! I LOVED Bedded Bliss with everything that I have. It is a perfect romance; sexy, fun but with a sense of goodness and rightness and two people finding just what they need in each other even though they never expected it.

Michael Shawcross has been enjoying the rock star lifestyle ever since his band, Warning Sign, started getting noticed. He isn't proud of everything he's done and he knows he's been spiraling a bit out of control, but when he sees Chloe Adams, an acquaintance of his step-mom and her new husband, in the audience of his show in Las Vegas something propels him to find her and spend time with her. Chloe is on a much needed mom-break weekend with her best friends courtesy of her son's godfather. Too much alcohol and not enough sleep leave them both with holes in their memory of the night they spent together, but one thing they both know they have rings on their fingers and a marriage license and no idea how they got either one.

I've read many books where two people wind up married and not sure how they got that way or what to do about it, but what I loved about this book is Michael was bound and determined to make Chloe see he could be a good husband, father and provider. He absolutely went above and beyond to make sure Chloe knew he wasn't going anywhere and used whatever he had to in order to keep her thinking about him (think sexy times here). Chloe was tough to crack; she was bound and determined to make her own way and provide everything her son Axl needed. Little by little though Michael made her see he wasn't just a rock star, he was trustworthy and put her and her sons needs above his own over and over. I loved watching Chloe fall in love with Michael little by little and more than that I loved that Michael didn't try and win her over with his money, but with the little things he knew would mean so much to her. My heart melted watching Michael and Axl together and as they fell in love with each other as well.

Although we see a bit of the Lost in Oblivion crew, Bedded Bliss can totally be read as a standalone book. We also get a better look at the members of Warning Sign which makes me excited for things to come.

This is one of those books I wish I could give more than 5 stars to because I just loved it so much. What started out as a night neither one could remember turned into the love of a lifetime !

What started off kind of slow for me turned into something that I couldn't quit turning the pages for. By midway I was dreading having to cook supper. I even brought my Kindle into the kitchen and read in between stirring and made Hubs grill the chicken. I ended up finishing it late last night before I fell asleep LOL

Michael and Chloe. Ahhhh. What can I say? Michael was a up and coming rock star who has a heart of gold. He's funny and I loved that almost everything he says to Chloe at first had some kind of sexual innuendo to it ;) Watch out though, Michael will make you swoon when he is with Chloe's son, Axl. Chloe was great! A young, single mom. I totally get where she was coming from thinking she couldn't have fun. Thankfully, she let loose for a little bit and ended up with Michael.

This is a spinoff of the series about the band Oblivion. Those characters show up a great deal in here. Have I read that series? Nope. But have no fear, I was not lost at all. This can easily be read and loved without reading about them first.

This may be the first book in this series, but it still carried the reunion vibe. So much so that it was hard to follow if you haven't read all the Oblivion books.

For those of you who can never get enough rock star romances, this is definitely a book you have to pick up. Now that I’ve finished I feel like I’ve been pulled into a book that gave me everything that I usually look for in a rock romance; we had some really dirty, sexy moments that had you fanning yourself, we had some really heart felt romantic moments, and I have done some pretty heavy laughing in this book as well. Yes, the hooks up in this book with Michael and Chloe was pretty hawt but what would you expect from a rocker who is doing a show in Vegas and then has his attention diverted that whole time on some little hot red head…that is until he gets a really good look at her and realizes that its someone he has ran into before at family events. Awkward, not much. Not enough to put an end to all of the dirty thoughts that Michael had about Chloe.

Chloe was taking a long needed break from all of her responsibilities that she had thrown at her at such a young age with losing her fiancé, Snake, who was part of famous rock band Oblivion, to working two to three jobs trying to make ends meet raising the little boy that she and Snake had made before his death leaving Chloe all alone. Her two girlfriends were coming along with her on this adventure in Vegas and they both knew how to have a good time. Once Michael and Chloe have some time together after Michael’s concert he lives up to his rock star lifestyle of a lot of booze and hot women only in this case that hot woman is Chloe. She does let loose with Michael and will go back to “mom mode” as soon as this weekend is over. The only thing is that she doesn’t expect to come back home married. Yep, that will put a damper on a wild Vegas weekend. Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Well, not if you are the paparazzi’s favorite target anyway and yes, Michael has earned every bit of what’s written about him. We also need to add in the fact that both of them were so drunk neither of them remembers the wedding. That’s what happens when drink more than your quota.

So how does a very rich guy from an up and coming rock band handle a marriage and not just a marriage with Chloe but he gets Chloe’s son, Axl as well in this deal? Maybe this isn’t so bad after all because this marriage thing will help cut down on all of the publicity that Michael has been getting as of late especially since he was hooking up with a senator’s fiancé. Is Chloe one that will be ready to give up the hard life she has had to lead since Snake’s death and Axl’s birth? You would think that for Chloe that it’s a no brainer but this girl is strong and responsible (except for that Vegas weekend) and doesn’t want to go down that road again with a rock star after everything she went through with Snake plus this time around she has her son to consider. Even though it’s been hard for her she’s done a damn good job. Oh, believe me this is one rock romance that will draw you in and keep you at the edge of your seat needing some Kleenexes for tears from laughing so hard to having your heart broke a little.

OMG! What a way to start a new series and a well deserved amazing 5 **stars**.
This is so sexy, hawt, dirty, and I loved every word of it. I was so rooting for both Micheal, Chloe, and Axle. I so wanted to them to be together. Chloe is a mother working too many jobs to support herself and her son. Her friends and herself are going to Vegas to see LIO and a new band Warning Signs. Nick has generously invited them to go watch and party after in Vegas, for the weekend.
Micheal is the lead singer for the band Warning Signs. Lila Shawcross, Micheal's stepmom, Nick's wife and LIO and Warning Signs agent. He has also been warned to straighten up.
The concert has started. The are three bands performing and Warning Signs is the second band to perform with LIO who is really the main band playing last. Micheal is singing, getting lost in the song but also looking at the fans, when he sees a redheaded girl, with her back to the stage. He can't see her face. Instantly he is attracted and knows he has to find her after he's done performing.
These two are in for so much trouble when they wake up in the morning.
I loved everything about this story and I know that everything to follow will be just as amazing as this one.

Bedded Bliss is the first story in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott's new rock star series Found In Oblivion. It's a spinoff of their successful series Lost in Oblivion (LIO) and stars the younger generation - siblings and other family members of the LIO band members (and their partners) who have also found their way into the music industry. This series focuses on Warning Sign, an up and coming band (just like Oblivion used to be, until they hit the big time), and the first book is about Michael, lead guitarist and stepson of Lila Shawcross (heroine of Shattered and Fused). Lila also happens to be the manager of several bands, including Warning Sign. You don't have to read the LIO series to enjoy this one, but it's a great series that I thoroughly enjoyed. And it looks to me like the Found in Oblivion series will be just as good.

At 23, Michael is getting used to the rock star life style. He's always had money, having grown up with a rich father, but the fame and paparazzi are really starting to become the norm as Warning Sign starts its first big tour. While performing in Vegas, his eye is caught by the beautiful woman in the front section who is obviously enjoying the music as much as he's enjoying playing it. Catching up with her at a backstage VIP party, he realizes that it's a woman he already knows but hadn't recognized - Chloe, widowed partner of Snake, Oblivion's first drummer. They've been in the same social circles since his stepmom's husband Nick is godfather to Chloe's son Axl, but had never really connected until now. Chloe is enjoying a weekend child free thanks to Nick, and living it up in Vegas. She's normally a very responsible mom, but this is her first chance to let loose in ages, and she takes the opportunity. One thing leads to another and the maxim 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas' no longer applies when she wakes up next to Michael with a ring on her finger! Yes, a Vegas wedding that neither can remember has happened. Michael has been warned to clean up his image, and he figures this is a sign. It's time to lose his player ways and commit to this woman, having pledged to take any wedding vow seriously after his father's marriage fiascoes. It doesn't matter that he can't remember the ceremony - the marriage licence says its real. Chloe's a little harder to convince though. She can't believe that she behaved so irresponsibly after working so hard for the past few years to support her son. She especially never planned to get involved with another rock star. Can Michael convince her that his commitment to her, no matter how it started, is real?

What a fun and entertaining story! I love the way these authors mix personal relationships with the music making industry, showcasing all the ups and downs of a life on the road, and the problems and triumphs the band members must deal with. Michael, even though he's 23, gets a pretty fast wake up call from his life of fun and frivolity. He didn't plan to get married to someone he hardly knew, but his attraction to Chloe is strong and heartfelt, and he succeeds in proving how serious he is about making their relationship a real one. He's really a sweetheart, and a kind and generous person. He might be a little daunted at first about Chloe having a son, but he is equally committed to being a father figure for Axl too, which was great to see. All in all, he's very convincing as the hero of this story.

Chloe is an equally likable character. Though she has a history with the band, having been Snake's partner during Oblivion's first days trying to make it in the big leagues, she's kept a stable head on her shoulders. She could have followed Snake into his drug and alcohol addiction problems but she didn't, choosing to be the responsible parent to their son. She and Nick are friends, and Nick has been sending her money to help support Axl but she uses it frugally, preferring to save the money for Axl's future and working full time jobs to keep them in their small house. As a single mother, she relies on her father who himself battled alcoholism for support, and she has a friend who helps her out when she's working her shifts at the local bar. She comes across as a dedicated mother and a level headed woman, despite her young age. It's hard for her to accept Michael's help but when the paparazzi find out about what happened in Vegas, she has no choice but to turn to him. It gives Michael the chance to show her that he really cares, and also leads to some very steamy scenes between them in which it's obvious they are bedroom compatible. I loved seeing the two of them figure things out, how they could make a real relationship out of their surprise marriage. Also, Chloe's son Axl is adorable! I'm not always a fan of kids in books, but he steals every scene he is in. They make a really lovely family.

There are some behind the scenes and onstage parts of the story, giving a taste of life in a rock band. The authors are really excellent at crafting these scenes to make them interesting and dynamic. There are several secondary characters who get their say too, other members of Warning Sign, as well as some key scenes with Micheal's older and until now mostly estranged brother Mal. There is definitely a lot to look forward to in this series, and if this story is any indication, it will be a must read for me.

Bedded Bliss is like the ultimate dessert you are eagerly anticipating at the end of your 5 star meal..... It's delicious, sexy and completely satisfying! I'm a HUGE fan of the Lost in Oblivion (LIO) series by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott and Bedded Bliss is the perfect follow up/start to a new series. Michael is the lead guitarist of Warning Sign and Chloe is a single mom who was the fiancee' to Snake, the former LIO member who is deceased. They are both in Las Vegas and what happens in Vegas----it's explosive! The story is sexy, funny and emotional all rolled into one.

I love that Quinn and Elliott give us glimpses of the LIO boys/girls throughout the book---some more than others but it fits the story perfectly. It's like attending a reunion and catching up with your favorite friends---absolute perfection! Fans of LIO will rejoice and new readers will want to go back and meet Nick, Simon, Deacon, Jazz and Gray and their significant others. This is a standalone story and the authors do a great job of filling in the blanks as the LIO characters show up. However if you haven't read the LIO series, I highly recommend it because it is one of my all-time favorites.

5-stars all the way for Bedded Bliss! I can't wait for the next book!!!!

"Just like before she reached up to bring his head down to hers, sending him the message loud and clear that she was into it too. Into him"

5 rock me stars!!! What a great rock star romance.

Two people who should never be together, wind up in a heated passionate whirlwind romance. And while these two have many reasons not to be as one, they can't seem to stay away. I was hooked the minute I started reading... I'm a huge rock star reader and this book had it all for me. Cocky rock star, a bad#ss female lead, insane chemistry and a story that I couldn't stop reading!!! This was the first book in the series, and I can't wait to read more!

Wow! I've just finished Bedded Bliss. I think I had tears in my eyes for a large portion of the story. I loved it and I loved the cameos and I love that I can see potential couplings for future stories - and don't care if they come to pass or not!

Michael Shawcross is awesome and Chloe Adams is a real star. Together they make an incredible team and throw in the Ax-man for all kinds of adorable.

Can you imagine waking up in Vegas....married? And to someone you barely know. Talk about a trip! Michael and Chloe go through some interesting times and just when you figure they are getting it all together - twist!

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott have started another incredible ride and I can't wait to read more.

Michael has a way with words, “open the g****mn door. It’s the least you can do after you drop kicked me in the balls. Are you hurt? Is there blood?” Chloe can get a little physical in the mornings, "...she only moved suddenly enough to clip his jaw. Michael groaned and cupped the side of his mouth. “Oh, eff. Is this going to be a thing? Mortal Kombat at dawn?” I really liked this book, I loved Michael.

What a perfect beginning to the latest series by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott: Bedded Bliss. Yes, I paid for the three first books in this second series. am am itching to start the nest book. Some authors are just that good! I will be rereading Lost in Oblivion as soon as all of Found in Oblivion books are ready... and then continue on with a re-read of Found in Oblivion.

Chloe Adams's life has been one filled with one bad break after another, but she soldiers on and makes the best she can of her many rough situations. Her father was an alcoholic, now thankfully recovering, her mom, a drug addict. He fiance William was called appropriately Snake. He was not only a drug addict, but also lost no opportunity to cheat on her, and then sued his former band. The paparazzi hounded her continuously when Snake OD'd and over the failed lawsuit.

Now, she has a 2 year old son, definitely in the 'terrible two's'. She loves him more than her own life and works three jobs and lives in a deteriorating neighborhood. Luckily her father and great neighbor help her out with the babysitting care. Two of her friends convince her to take a break for a couple of days in Las Vegas. She agrees and her dear friend Nick (from Lost in Oblivion) gets her VIP seats and a VIP pass to the After Party for her and her two friends. She is mesmerized by the show, but more by the fantastic-looking-sounding guitarist, Michael Shawcross. Once he catches her eye, He cannot look away. He wants her and will find a way to meet her.

Leading up to the show, Nick gave her his credit card and DEMANDS that she use it. His band is the starring show for the night and is in the same hotel. They go to the Spa, then buy outfits and meals. Chloe feels guilty spending Nick's money.
He already sends her checks to help cover the costs of raising little Axl. I guess with Snake as a father, the name Axl might be expected.

At the VIP party afterwards, Michael Shawcross spots her and soon cuts her out of the crowd. They hit it off a little too well, and wake up the next morning with wedding rings and no idea what happened. Too soon the paparazzi go nuts again, dragging up his past love life and her former fiance, etc. They are camped out at her work places, her home and his apt too.
But because they can't really get to him in his swanky apt, she becomes the target.

Michael is sweet and masculine and really sexy, too. He had a rough start with too much money and parents who were too selfish to care about their sons. Michael readily accepts Axl, though he is a bit anxious on how to approach him. He's a fast learner though. He woos Chloe with thoughtfulness, fun with Axl, and great sex. He learns to pick up after himself., but never quite got the hang of waling around au natural. Axl picks up on that immediately, much to Chloe's consternation. They work it out. kinda

All does not go smoothly for them. Lots of angst, anxiety, anguish. We do get a wonderful HEA at the end. really looking forward to the next book in the series. Thank you Cari and Taryn. Keep writing and I'll keep buying!

I received a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads
3.5 stars
This is a spin off series and while you can get the gist of the other characters in context it might be better to read the main series first, not quite a stand alone.

Michael (dont call him mike or mikey) Shawcross is the lead guitarist for the up & coming band, Warning Signs. Lately, he's hitting the tabloids with his womanizing and drunken ways a little more than his step mom (who's also his band manager) would like these days, but he just doesn't seem to be able to care. Playing a big show in Vegas with the band, Michael sees Chloe in the crowd. He knows of her but not well, she runs in the circle of the headlining band but she's enjoying his music and the attraction seems mutual. Hell, it's Vegas, what's a little more debauchery added to his exploits? Michael decides to go for it. Chloe is a single mom just trying to have some fun during her girls weekend. She goes to see her deceased boyfriend's band play in Vegas. She doesn't plan on hooking up with anyone but the opening band's guitarist is really too much to ignore. How do you have a tryst in Vegas without ending up married? You don't! And Michael & Chloe are no exception.
Michael is actually thinking this Vegas marriage thing might be good for him & his career! He finds Chloe everything he wants in a woman. Her son, Axle, is not the hindrance he thought he would be, he actually likes having the kid around. Enjoying his instant family, can he convince Chloe that their marriage is a good thing? That it's not all just physical attraction between them and they can go the distance? Michael's father has different plans, not wanting any "gold digger" after his son's money he unearths the truth about that fateful night in Vegas and things aren't what they appear.

I enjoyed the whole story very much although it was light on the music/band aspect that I tend to enjoy in rock star novels. Based more around just Michael & Chloe's relationship and family time, it falls just a tad flat in the rock star category for me. I found it became quite a bit of domestic bliss for a few too many chapters and Michael kind of lost his "edge" for me. The ending was good and what I expected, and it was an entertaining solid 3.5 stars overall.

This was a great story for Michael and Chloe.

Bedded Bliss is the first book in the spin-off of one of my favorite Rockstar romance series. Now that everyone in Oblivion has found their soulmate and starting families of their own, it's time for Warning Sign to do the same. Found in Oblivion follows the family member of Oblivion that banded together to make music of their own and Bedded Bliss is Michael Shawcross's story.

Michael Shawcross is the stepson of Oblivion's Manager, Lila. He grew up with wealth and the only real parent he had was his step-mother. His parents were nowhere near the ideal models for parenthood or relationships, so he swore those possibilities off from early on. He wasn't expecting single mom, Chloe to get in the way of that plan.

They have an amazing time in Vegas (he's there for a show, she's there for girls' night) and wake up learning first what "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas". Now their lives are changed. Chloe avoids it and wants to forget everything that happened, Michael is ready to jump all in and see what happens.

This was a great story of two people letting their fears go and taking a leap of faith while having all eyes on you. Chloe and Michael had great chemistry and were totally lickable from the start.

After finding out that his last one night stand was a Senator's fiancee, Michael Shawcross is having a hard time. Why, you ask? Because even though he's a member of WARNING SIGN (one of the hottest up-and-coming bands out there), now he has to stop his partying ways, or face the consequences. It's just as well, anyway, since he's gotten bored with having a different groupie every night. So how the hell did he wake up married to the last person he ever would've suspected...?

Chloe knows all about hard times. After the death of her fiancee, Snake, she has just been trying raise her son Axl & make ends meet. It's bad enough that she has to keep taking help from Nick Crandall - her fiancee's best friend & member of Oblivion - despite the fact that Snake tried to extort the band. Needless to say, she's done with men, and rockers in particular. So how the hell did she wake up married to Michael Shawcross - the very last person on Earth she should be involved with?

The way Michael sees it, this is a win-win situation... Chloe gets a safe place to raise her son & he gets to repair his image. But what happens when he realizes that she might be the best drunken decision that he's ever made?

Fans of rockstars and romance will be delighted in the newest series by writing tandem extraordinaire Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliot, Found in Oblivion, the first book of which is Bedded Bliss. Those who've read the first series by this duo, Lost in Oblivion, will be very familiar with the two main characters in Bedded Bliss. Both Chloe and Michael were painted in a not so flattering light in the previous books. Here they get their own story told and surprisingly, they do get together in the most surprising way. Although this is a spin off series, there is no reason why it can't be read as a standalone (unless you are like me, who has to read the whole series to get a better grasp of the world building).

Bedded Bliss has all the elements that make it as good as the previous series, a good band story, family drama and lots of growing pains. But it also is mainly a love story between two people whose attraction to each other is combustible, poignant and realistically sweet. Michael and Chloe has more of a real life person character vibe going on despite the rock and roll drama and sometimes melodramatic back story. Its a great contemporary romance and a welcome addition to the the Oblivion saga.

After a completely unrealistic first half, with main protagonists I could hardly tolerate, the story and the characters picked up, so that the second half of this story was really enjoyable.
I think the problem was that the characters, especially Michael, were so much stereotypes of certain behaviours and attitudes, at least on the surface - and with nothing tangible to make me believe differently, apart from maybe a couple of hints on the way, which was what kept me reading on.
And a good thing I did, because the second half made up for the first half entirely. It was heartwarming to see the metamorphosis in Michael and Chloe (although there were still some behaviourisms I found very hard to follow, much less believe to be real). The story also picked up a bit of pace in the second half, which helped.
All in all, I liked this book, but am not sure yet if I want to read the next ones in this series.

This book moved pretty slowly. The main characters didn't even meet until about a 1/3 of the way through the book. I was about ready to give up reading in detail about how Chloe and her friends shopped and enjoyed the spa in Vegas....

Then they finally meet and I just didn't feel like there was a good explanation as to why all of a sudden Michael would change his ways for her or why he fell for her, other than insta lust. I think it was supposed to be because she and her son provided the family he always wanted, but I just don't think that was enough.

Then Chloe's best friends I spent forever reading about their pampering disappear later in the book without much explanation at all. ugh.

I fell in love with the rockers that Cari and Taryn wrote in the Lost in Oblivion series and now reading about the second generation was a treat. Again, we have the sexy and gritty and crazy world of rock stars and all that comes with it.

Michael Shawcross seems lost and now he has to clean up his image thanks to his involvement with a Senator’s fiancée. Chloe has had a hard time raising her son on her own since her fiancé, Snake, passed away.

A ‘chance’ meeting, a wedding in Vegas, an adorable little boy, and all the rock star drama that these two authors are known for, and you have yourself another great series. And the appearance of past characters is definitely a bonus.

A great story featuring the band WARNING SIGN, second generation of the famous OBLIVION band. It is full of surprises including a drunk and hazy Vegas wedding. Lots of obstacles in Micheal and Chloe's way: rude parents, resentful step-parents, jealousy and betrayal, as they journey towards true love. But will Chloe's memories of Snake along with Michael's player reputation, make them give up before they get started?

Loved this story of Michael and Chloe, you never know about sequels, story spin offs, but I can honestly say it was a refreshing surprise. I loved the familiar names of characters popped in here and there. In the end it was kind of a second chance love story. But also NOT with the cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next stories of other band members as well. Well done once again ladies.

Found in Oblivion is the perfect name for this spinoff series. Chloe and Michael lock eyes during one of Warning Sign's performances and now all bets are off. Their initial lust results in bed with wedding rings and no memory of how it all happened. Being a single parent, and getting over the death of Snake, Chloe is not ready for a relationship, especially with a rock star. Michael is looking for a good time, not a wife. But now that he is married, he is ready to give this a try. Will he be able to convince Chloe? With off the charts chemistry, you would think it would be easy, but there are many obstacles this couple will face. Between family, money, and lifestyles this couple will have to overcome. I love how sure Michael is with this relationship and how he craves the normalcy of a family. It's one of my favorite things with the hero when he knows what he has and is willing to fight for it. I also love the way he is with Chloe's son. Axel is so cute, it would have been impossible for him not to fall in love with the boy. The family and friend dynamic also is interesting, meeting Mal, dealing with Lila and Nick, Chloe's dad and all the band members make the story feel homey and gives dimension to the story.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross always give an incredible performance, but I love their rock band narrations. The two together are so perfect with the characters, giving them the attitude and angst, along with the heat and love that it's easy to leave it on and enjoy.

This one is about Michael Shawcross, the stepson of Lila Shawcross from the LIO series, and Chloe Adams, who is friends with Nick Crandall-also from LIO and married to Lila. Michael has been going hard since his band has been on tour and starting to rise and get recognition. He parties hard and doesn't always make the best decisions while partying. In order to keep the band on the path they need to go on, Lila has told him to clean up or else. Chloe has been working hard and trying to not only make ends meet but take care of her son while getting her life on a path that makes them both happy. She's not about to mess that up with another rockstar after what happened the last time. But with her and her friend's in Vegas for a rare night out, she never plans on accidentally marrying one! Or staying married to help his reputation!

I loved this story! I had hoped for a story for Chloe after what she had been through before and this book definitely didn't disappoint! Michael is perfect for her AND for her son! Once they worked through all the issues and realized they were what each other needed? Absolutely perfect! Michael had his hangups due to his family but he still manages to work through them and towards the woman he has fallen for. He treats her son no differently than if he was his own, and I loved that! Chloe had to work through her own feelings and know that she could trust Michael to not only be there for her and her son but to be faithful while he was gone. Great read!

So enjoyed this book. What happens in Vegas never stays in Vegas. Michael & Chloe have met before but never been interested enough to actually get to know one another. One exciting concert leads to club drinking, dancing & making out with a rockstar, which leads to marriage or so Michael & Chloe think. Their pasts are littered with pain & neither is ready for what’s coming at them, as they deal with the paparazzi & their own feelings. Chloe’s strength was amazing, as a working single mother of a toddler but watching her stand up for herself against the pressure of the paparazzi & people’s attitudes was heartbreaking. Her life turned upside down again by a rocker wasn’t what she’d been looking for but when push came to shove something about Michael just stuck. Michael’s recent past had been women, drinking & getting caught up in a sex scandal. Watching him woo Chloe & bond with little Axl was sweet & definitely sexy, watching him grow as a man was wonderful. As their relationship unfolds we learn the truth & see just how much they’ve actually grown. Loved little Axl & also loved seeing the members of Oblivion & Hunter from Hammered again. Definitely recommend this book & series.
