If you want something to warm you up on those cold winter nights, and you like a little kink in your reading, then this is the anthology for you. Great Authors and some very sexy reads!

Photobucket

I sat and read this more or less in one go, loving my window into the authors writings. There is lots of sex, very hot and steamy, which is a bit of a give away with the title! But we are also treated to some tales which vary from the emotional to humorous. Unfortunately the only story I was unable to rate was the f-f, purely from my own reading preference, and not a reflection on the Author.

If I am to chose favourites it would be Joey. W. Hill and Kim Dare, having said that it is only by a whisker, as in all honesty I really enjoyed curling up on the couch and reading to my hearts content!

Tree Topper - Jane Davitt - 3.5 stars

We meet Stan and Martin arguing over the topper for the Christmas tree, Stan is behaving like a petulant child that needs a spanking, misbehaving and generally winding Martin up! Six months into their relationship and they both need something to shake them up! Martin is an inexperienced Dom who, when he met Stan thought all his fantasies had come true. Stan is a sub, but with memories of a bad experience with his previous Dom is reluctant to take some of their games further? Somewhere along the line their boundaries between Dom and Sub had merged, leaving neither in the role they want or need. A make or break situation ensues and with only two days till Christmas to write out their wants and needs, likes and dislikes and above all agree their rules and boundaries.

This is told from Martin's POV, at first I was irritated by Stan but once I understood his story and we had the ever so hot action in the bedroom on Christmas night I definitely warmed to him! What a great read from Ms Davit and it will certainly heat up the coals on a cold winters night!

Twas the Night - Ava March - 4 stars

Percy had received a note from Michael instructing him to go to his Town House on Christmas night for 8pm! Percy, always followed his instruction - no questions asked. He yearned for Michael but thought himself no more than an obedient bed partner, so young and insecure he had no self esteem or confidence and did not see himself as worthy for the successful and handsome Michael.

Percy had a purity of soul, a true submissive, to his parents he is a disappointment, but to Michael he was a gift to be nurtured and cherished. So when Michael asks for Percy's voice as his Christmas gift he was lost!?! He did not know how to voice his wants and needs, he could not even comprehend what Michael was asking for! But Percy trusted Michael and his words touched his heart, Michael did care for him, it was like an epiphany... no guilt, no shame only desire, trust and love.

This is a wicked tale and I loved it! I will be the first to hold up my hand and say, I don't as a rule enjoy Historical Romance! Ha... I was wrong! Ms March I loved your naughty Christmas night in 1820 - London.

Fire Works - Katie Porter

I do not feel it would be fair to rate this tale from Ms Porter, I do not read f-f, it is not something I enjoy, I did read this story but was unable to connect with the characters. Sorry Ms Porter, this is no reflection on your writing, rather my own preference in genre.

Candy Caning - L.A. Witt - 4 stars

Stephen and Nate have been together for four years and each Christmas Eve they visit Nate's parents... and each year they are subjected to the verbal diarrhea from his mother, who is non too shy about voicing her opinion of Stephen.... No prospects, crappy job, oh, and God forbid he has a dragon tattoo!

The prospect of this visit and the of Christmas shopping is putting somewhat of a strain on their prelude to the Christmas festivities.... that is until Stephen spies an extra large peppermint candy cane! He is very mischievous and naughty tempting Nate, who is salivating at the sight of it... but not to get it in his mouth, oh, no, but to feel the sting and burn of it against his skin.

I loved this tale from L.A Witt, two very likeable characters, who after four years together are perhaps in a bit of a routine when it comes to the bedroom! Amazing what a candy cane can do for a little kink on Christmas Eve!!

Submissive Angel - Joey. W. Hill - 5 stars

Robert a vintage Toy Shop owner, had hung up his paddle, his desire for it diminished.... that was until he saw the beaten up, homeless, green eyed with white gold hair, vision of a man bleeding by the dumpster out back, innocently holding a discarded broken toy up proclaiming "I fixed it, Sir"! His name was Ange... French for angel!

Robert tried to resist, unsure of himself, but he was unable to withstand the magnetic pull of Ange's inner sub crying out for Robert to be his Master. Ange had the innocence of a child... a true submissive every action and gesture designed to lure Robert and despite himself his Dom took control!

Robert at nearly 40 and Ange almost 30 were both lost souls, they were perfect for each other and some divine intervention intervened to dispel their demons!

This is Joey W Hill at her best, even in a short this tale is poignantly told, so beautiful in the mind of Robert, every detail brought to life through his eyes. Loved this! Please Ms Hill write more m-m?!?

Open Return - Elyan Smith - 3 stars

Hannah ran away from her friends and de facto family, all the way to Australia! She was looking for answers.. confused, never fitting in and not knowing who or what she was!

Fifteen years later she returns home as Zach! Fifteen years and what he had been running away from was actually what he had been looking for... his friends Scott and Laura. Without them he had felt empty and lost and with them he was safe and cared for.... but would the two people he could not be without resent him for leaving?

This is an emotional read and I think it would benefit from being a novel rather than a short. There is so much emotion and pain welling inside Zach, mixed up over his sex, never mind his sexuality! I really connected with him, felt his confusion... however, for me there was a bigger picture that I was missing out on, which might have helped me connect with Scott and Laura - I needed more from them, some compassion and understanding! This would be a great novel as the writing is excellent, but as a short I was frustrated.

Ring out the Old and in the New - Alexa Snow - 4 stars

Evan was attacked, a senseless crime that left him facially scarred and internally unable to face the world. It affected his life to the point where work was impossible, afraid and humiliated for people to see his scar and paralysed by the fear that still existed... making his relationship with Russell tentative at best! At one time Russell's commanding tones would have had him on his knees in typical submissive pose... now he was lost. Lost to himself and to the man he loves, unable to get past the night that changed him physically and mentally.

Loved this short... both great characters. Russell so understanding and compassionate, he is the perfect Dom, caring and nurturing his sub back from the darkness that had consumed him and - Evan, trusting Russell to take care of him, giving Evan permission as such to move on!

Chance - Kim Dare - 4.5 stars

Everyone deserves one last chance, We have until Midnight tonight. Pentworth Hotel. Suite 501. NOW

Drew had screwed up badly by suggesting to his friends that his Master was "not romantic", a statement that was overheard by Kingsley. Drew was desperate to please his Master and atone for his transgression. Whilst Kingsley was also keen to assure Drew that even though he was a Dom and self control was paramount... he cared for Drew, loved him in fact and wanted this chance to prove his worth as a Dom and a lover!

As this is told in alternating POV's as readers we can quite clearly see these two characters love each other, even if it was the realisation that they may lose one another that brought it to the fore. The Challenge is to convince the other before midnight! and what a kinky romantic night it was!

What a finale to this great anthology, Kim Dare you never cease to bring the oh so very sexy Alpha and extremely hot Dom to your books. Love it.

I enjoyed this anthology and the variety of the stories, but there wasn't one that really stood out, in my opinion, even if each one of them had something unique.

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt.

Martin is a new Dom and his sub, Stan, seems more than he can handle. I liked this story. Martin is older, well meaning, concerned, but he doesn't seem to reach through Stan, who's not very obedient and who doesn't seem to take him seriously. We learn that Stan comes from an abusive relationship, his behavior makes slowly more sense and the two men decide to start over. The transition is compressed in few pages, it would have been great to see some more of the change of attitude. I even thought that the sex was almost unnecessary, because what the characters went through was satisfying for me and the result was clear even outside the bedroom (bedroom in a metaphorical sense, of course.)

'Twas the Night by Ava March.

Very good Regency story. Percy is the perfect submissive, and Michael would for once love to give Percy what he openly asks for. Percy was a fascinating character and I would love the whole novel about these two characters. Percy is not ambitious, his family would like for him to become a barrister, but Percy loves his humbler work as an office clerk. He is torn between his desires and the expectations of society, because his submission to another man is both unlawful and unworthy of a respectable gentleman. Michael is clearly a man who has come to terms with his inclination and he wants Percy to understand that what he feels is not wrong. It's a concern beyond that of a dominant, it's the concern of a man who cares for the other. There was maybe too much insistence on a few details, eyelashes and ink-stained fingers, but it's a minor flaw.

Fireworks by Katie Porter.

First story I read by this author and also my first f/f with a D/s theme. Emma, the sub, and Rachel, her Ma'am, are spending the last night together before Rachel leaves for Tokio, ending their relationship. Emma is in love with Rachel and she probably knows the other woman's heart better than Rachel does herself. Rachel is apparently strong, but she's a bit of a coward in matters of the heart. I confess that I was almost at a point where I felt I wouldn't finish it, because Rachel and Emma play at a level I'm uncomfortable with, but I was glad I read on, because the last part, when Emma was more vulnerable and open and easily hurt, really spoke to me, especially when she was confronted with how incapable Rachel was of taking a risk, of opening herself to Emma for once. I am surprised I liked it.

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt.

Nate, the sub, and Stephen, the Dom, have to face another Christmas at Nate's parents'. Nate would like for once to spare Stephen from his mother's insulting attitude, and at the same time Stephen wants to help Nate relax. A trip to the department store to buy the last presents sparks the promise of a kinky game with a candy cane. This was maybe the more funny story and the one with less emotional impact. It's not something bad, on the contrary, it was maybe the most Christmas-y of the whole anthology. I liked the snippets about Nate's family, about their domesticity in need of a little additional spark. It's the story of an ordinary Christmas with a pretty ribbon on top.

Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill.

Another author I read for the first time. The beginning of the story was very good. Robert, the owner of a traditional Victorian toy shop, finds Ange in an alley and rescues him, or better, he heeds Ange's plea to be saved. Ange repairs things everyone has discarded. He is a sweet man, devoted to Robert, caring, talented. After six months of spending time with him, Robert can't deny his feelings for Ange anymore, and he can't help feeling Ange's desire to submit to him. At the end of the story though I felt that this story didn't deliver its full potential. Even if it's from Robert's point-of-view, his intentions and needs weren't so clear and a whole lot of his past emotional baggage was left unexplained. What was behind Ange's initial beating was also left unexplained for reasons that I didn't find convincing. There was a slight paranormal atmosphere, but nothing paranormal in the story, even if Robert and Ange's meeting seems that of two destined lovers. I was expecting for something that didn't happen. That's why I felt there was something sweet in the air, but the sex took its place. I enjoyed it, but it could have been much more.

Open Return by Elyan Smith.

My first time for this author too. Zach comes back from Australia and he meets the two people he left behind, Laura and Scott. Zach left his town as Hanna and comes back as Zach. He's different, he spent time trying to find himself, but Laura and Scott's dominance left a void in his soul that he hasn't been able to fill. When he returns, he doesn't know if he can fit in again, and he has to find out what has changed and what has stayed the same. The story is in Zach's point-of-view, and I had the impression it was a very narrow view on what's around him, very focused on his own needs, even when they involve other people. Probably that's what I had a problem with, the fact I couldn't get a clear read on Laura and Scott. My way of reading this is surely very shallow, but I wasn't able to find a sign of empathy. Zach was almost unreachable, that's also why I felt I was a spectator who couldn't get close, I felt very much at the outside of everything. Maybe Zach got what he wanted, but in my opinion it wasn't enough. And I know I've written in plenty of my reviews that we cannot judge what people look for in their quest for love, but this time I really have to impose myself my own conviction.

Ring Out the Old and In the New by Alexa Snow.

This is another story that maybe deserved a few more pages to be perfect. Evan has been attacked in the London Tube and he's been scarred. His face reminds him of the attack and he's too embarrassed to meet people again, because he feels ugly. Russell, his Dom, wants to help him get over his trauma. Evan is really in a complicated place in his head at the moment, and even if the author doesn't go too deep into his hurt, you can't help feeling Evan's insecurity and fear. His Dom is an assuring presence. There is maybe a bit of sexual healing, but it's well done, it draws from their relationship.

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare.

This was my favorite, but I'm a Kim Dare's fangirl. Drew was overheard by Kingsley, his Dom, saying that his Dom doesn't have a romantic bone in his body. He meant it as a sort of compliment, but his Dom seems to resent him. Kingsley has summoned him in a hotel room to give him a last chance to remedy to his misstep. Drew is more terrified of losing his Dom than the punishment Kingsley will probably inflict on him, but he doesn't know that Kingsley is afraid of losing something in turn. The plot revolves around some sort of miscommunication. Drew misreads Kingsley's control for coldness and he's so caught up in himself that he doesn't see the small cracks in his Dom's armor. Kingsley, on the other hand, has to have the courage to be more open to Drew and take a small risk to be able to bring their relationship to another level. I think this is the most romantic story in the collection and I read it with a big smile on my face, enjoying Drew's blind panic and Kingsley's masked insecurity.

The last story had also my favorite quote of the book:

"Romance? Perhaps. But vanilla? Give me some credit, Drew."

If you're not looking for a vanilla Christmas, this is for you.

Bound for the holidays, anyone? This delightfully kinky anthology is filled with authors I really enjoy. If you are into the holiday spirit and want to read some kinky BD and D/s, this book is for you! The majority is m/m smexy romance. Each story is crafted with a message of love and romance. Delightful!

Ms. Davitt kicks off the anthology with a dysfunctional D/s relationship. It's painful to watch the misunderstandings and miscommunication. I felt badly for the Dom who is trying to find his way while being treated with disrespect. It's a different perspective, to see it from the Dom side who isn't perfect and is struggling. Once again, Ms. Davitt does an excellent job of showing a D/s relationship without lecturing. Loved it! 3.5 stars for this one.

Ms. March's Regency romance hits the spot with her romantic m/m Christmas gift. Ms. March's distinctive style throws the reader into this period perfectly. The reader can visualize the rooms, clothing and objects clearly through her descriptions. Her characters are also ones I really enjoy. There's something very appealing and naughty about Regency with a m/m kinky twist. Love it! 3.5 stars for this one too.

The duo authors Katie Porter wrote a f/f piece. I love f/f stories so this is fine by me. The story itself was pretty fucked up. As in, the main female character was emotionally dysfunctional and I didn't like her one bit. The story resolved nicely into a happily ever after, but the journey was a bit torturous for me. The fireworks part with flogging, now that scene was hot! I liked it. 3 stars for this one.

Ms. Witt's Candy Caning was sweet and sticky. It would have been very dirty and hawt to have the thick long candy cane sliding up an ass, but the reader is denied! Instead, the reader and sub is treated to a lovely little bit of mindfucking. The story is still smexy hawt which is I've come to expect from the talented Ms. Witt. 3 stars for this one.

Ms. Hill's Submissive Angel was a complete confusion for me. I was lost the first chapter or two. Is this a vampire piece or not? Honestly, I had no bloody clue. I thought Robert may have been a vampire but then the rest of the story didn't make it clearly apparent. The story was kind of like an acid trip at times. This surprises me because I'm a huge fan of Ms. Hill. What she does do, is treat the readers to a delicious BD scene. The sensual tension in this story is a slow cooker building up the heat. It's really quite a beautiful piece between two lovely characters. I'm just not sure I understood it all or followed the story that well. There were too many questions left open for me to really becoming fully engaged and vested in the story. 3 stars for me.

Mr. Smith's menage was all over the place for me. It's as if half of the story was in the author's head. The reveals were a bit too late and without points of reference, the reader is lost. Is it Zach or Hannah? Is there a dick or is there not a dick? What happened? There are so many questions. Perhaps it's because it's a short story which causes it to be so vague. There was definitely a large pink elephant in this room and it took me a long time to figure out that the elephant wasn't exactly pink. This kind of story writing doesn't do it for me. I still liked the characters and where it was going, but it made me work too hard to figure out all the pieces and still, I'm missing too many to give me a satisfied feeling. 2 stars for this one.

Ms. Snow's story is sad. It reminds me of one of my favourite stories - Russian Bear by CB Conwy. The violence perpetrated against a person because of their sexual orientation is a heinous crime. This kind of senseless violence infuriates me. The victim of said crime, even after they physically heal, they are never mentally and emotionally the same. This story presented an excellent aftermath story. It is enjoyable and moving for a reader. 3.5 stars.

Ms. Dare's story was delightful! This anthology comes full circle with miscommunications between a Dom and sub. In this one, it's painful to watch how much the submissive struggles to right a wrong which he doesn't fully understand. I really enjoyed the way Ms. Dare wrote this story and how she resolved the differences into a happily ever after. And it's true, a creatively perverted Dom can easily kink up any common household item. Fabulous illustration of common twisted into kinky which made me sigh happily. 3.5 stars for this one.

This anthology is not to be missed. For those who enjoy a kinky holiday, this book is for you.

O Come All Ye Kinky is a holiday, BDSM themed anthology that incorporates the best of both concepts - a time for coming together and the beauty of submission. It consists of eight stories that center on the BDSM relationships of its characters during the holiday season, their desires, struggles and their bond.

I was worried about how the authors were going to incorporate the holiday theme into their stories without losing the BDSM appeal. I expected that these would take place around the holidays, but I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading and found out just how creative these authors could be. From wrapping paper, candy canes and strings of lights, to the more mundane items of tape, glitter, roses and candles, these authors gave me both the kink and the holiday spirit all wrapped up in one great read.

Some good authors get to strut their stuff in a Christmas kink-fest.
All up, the play in this book was full of toys, different adventures, sexy interplay, creativity, different adult relationships and responsible play – no-one went where their partner didn’t want to, no-one played when they were intoxicated or drugged. A fun anthology with the Christmas holiday season and charity firmly in mind. Plenty of very enjoyable reads here. There’s not one story I would rate under 3 stars. Most would be up around 4 stars. My pick of the book goes to L A Witt, Ava March and Joey W Hill. In depth review of every story at On Top Down Under Book reviews - http://bookreviewsandtherapy.blogspot...

The Oh Come All Ye Kinky anthology definitely lives up to its title. There is kinkiness galore! Peens get wrapped in snowman paper, butts get whipped with candy canes and other body parts get wrapped with Christmas lights. As you will see, some stories worked much better than others, but overall this is a pretty fun collection.

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt

Martin could still remember the incredulous joy he’d felt the first time his hand had connected with Stan’s bare ass.

Stan and Martin have been together for six months. Martin a dom and Stan a sub, once they met it was very natural for them to fall for each other. The problem is, their D/s relationship isn’t going so well. Martin is frustrated by Stan’s whiny attempts at being a sub and Martin tried once to handcuff Stan but he had a panic attack and they had to stop. Now it’s Christmas and they are home together and getting on each other’s nerves. They finally talk it all out, which allows them to move forward in their BDSM relationship.

I liked this one. At first Martin and Stan are both whiners and I thought they would get on my nerves, but once they discuss and get things moving in the sex department, I enjoyed it. Staying in the holiday spirit, Martin wraps Stan’s cock, nipples and ass in festive snowman wrapping paper. With extra tape to rip off. If that doesn’t say Merry Kinky Christmas, I’m not sure what will. Rating: B-

Twas the Night by Ava March

“Tell me to suck your cock.” A blush rushed up Percy’s neck, staining his cheeks and the tips of his ears, yet Percy kept his gaze locked with Michael’s.

It’s Christmas day and Percy has received a note from his lover Michael to meet him at his townhouse at 8pm sharp, and Percy has been looking forward to it all day. In their relationship, Michael is definitely the one in control. Percy feels a bit lost, craving the structure and control Michael provides him, but wondering if the things he craves is not proper. Michael decides for this Christmas night to let Percy speak up and voice what he wants. It takes some prodding, but soon Percy starts to have the confidence to ask for what he wants and feel at peace with his desires.

I adore Ava March’s voice and I thought this is a really well done short story. It takes place during one night, but I still feel like I really got to know Michael and Percy. Michael builds up Percy’s confidence and Percy learns that what he wants is truly okay. Ava March can write such warm, emotional love scenes. While Michael is the dominant, there are still some tender moments between them. Super sexy too. Rating: B

Fireworks by Katie Porter

I’ve read F/F in the past and have found some that I’ve enjoyed. This one however, was way too over the top for me. Rachel is this very dominant, kind of crazy insane woman and she is moving away soon. This story is a night with them together right before she moves away. At one point Rachel throws glitter all over Emma and says “Jesus, you look like a slut. Some fuckable pole dancer.” That’s romantic. *rolls eyes* She made Emma stick her tongue out more than once so she could bite it. Not for me. Rating: DNF

Candy Caning by LA Witt

Stephen and Nate have spent 4 years together and for four years, every Christmas at Nate’s mother’s house, who ends up treating them bad. But she is family, so they suck it up and go. Nate drags Stephen to the mall to get gifts for his family, something Stephen dreads but since he loves Nate tags along. At the mall, Stephen finds something joyous. a 3 foot long, thick candy cane. Perfect for bedroom play and Nate couldn’t agree more.

The whimper escapes before I can stop it. I clap my hand over my mouth, but the damage is done. His devilish look almost knocks my knees out from under me. He knows. Of course he does. He’s doing this on purpose. And he probably knows damn well that the effect is extra pronounced by the display of pristine white angels forming an ironic halo around and above his head.

“I thought you’d like that idea.” He winks and then hooks the cane back on its rack, no doubt well aware of the pang of disappointment in my chest. I literally bite my tongue to keep from begging him to change his mind. That’s not allowed, and the punishment for it would be not finding out what kind of marks a three-foot, cock-thick candy cane could leave across my ass.

I loved this story! Stephen is such a sexy, sexy Dom and Nate is just adorable with a great inner monologue. They are adorable and lovely together. I could have read an entire book about them. Very well done. Rating: B+

Submissive Angel by Joey W Hill

This story seemed…softer than the rest of the collection. This story takes place six months after Robert meets Ange in an alley behind his toy shop beat up badly. Ange says things to Robert like, “Since the North Pole layoffs, things have been rough.” You get a sense, he might be other-worldly. Ange dances around, and while he is the submissive really becomes the rock Robert needs. Robert’s previous sub wasn’t there for him when times got tough. This is a very sweet story, not so much in your face as the other entries. It felt a little unfinished for me. Rating: C+

Open Return by Elyan Smith

Zach left the Midwest for Australia 15 years ago, a confused person. He was in a relationship of sorts with a married couple, but it all became too much. Zach is transgendered, and used to be called Hannah, but now lives as a man named Zach and has come to peace with everything. He knocks on the door of the married couple and they end up restarting their relationship. A lot of heavier issues are brought up in this one and I think it would have worked better had we more time to explore everything. Too many emotions are shoved into a short story. It was hard for me to become engaged. Rating : C

Ring Out the Old and In the New by Alexa Snow

Evan got mugged on a train, leaving a nasty scar on his face. He is terrified to leave his house, although he is encouraged by his partner and Dom to try to get over his trauma. It’s a very straight forward glimpse into the lives of these two guys. Russell uses his Dom rules to help Evan first find a safe place with him and then move forward with the rest of his life. A simple yet sweet story. Rating: C+

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare

Drew hasn’t been the best at following instructions and now wants to right his wrongs with his Dom Kingsley. Kingsley wants to experiment with different things and show Drew just what skills he has, and teach him a lesson. Kingsley personally explores romance versus love. I don’t know if I came to know these two all that well, but I enjoyed the scene we get with them together. This one takes place on New Years Eve, a nice way to end the anthology. Rating: B

Overall I’d probably give this anthology a C+. A variety of characters all among a strong BDSM theme. I hope they do this again next year.

Interesting collection of BDSM LGBT romance stories with a Holiday theme.

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt 3.5 Stars
We usually read about assertive and confident doms. But in this story Martin works his way towards being a better Dom for Stan.

Twas the Night by Ava March 4.5 Stars
Really loved this sweet historical MM romance set in England in the 1820's. My first Ava March story and look forward to reading more from her.

Fireworks by Katie Porter 4 Stars
Hot story between Rachel and Emma. First FF romance story I read and it was good.

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt 4 Stars
Really love L.A. Witt's voice and the story of Stephen ad Nate was HOT. Who could have thought all it takes is some peppermint candy to rekindle a relationship?

Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill 5 Stars
As usual lovely character development by Joey W. Hill. Ange and Robert finally find their way together after 6 months of fighting their instincts. You will never see a manger the same way again, ho ho!

Open Return by Elyan Smith 3 Stars
This MMF story was my least favorites of all shorts. I felt there was a lot of build up and the end left me wanting for more resolution.

Ring Out the Old and In The New by Alexa Snow 4 Stars
A bit of gut wrenching in this story. Russell helps Evan recover from an assault.

O Come All Ye Kinky is a Christmas anthology filled with your favorite, wonderful authors writing a lovely bout kinky sex. The anthology explores light BDSM to a much more explicit, adventurous style. A variety of stories are delivered with relevant issues and concerns, all circulating around a desire for submission, dominance, and love.

Although the stories are lustful and dripping with sex, they also demonstrate humanism. Each couple, whether M/M or F/F, have relevant concerns and philosophies about their partnerships; each attempting to further enhance their relationships. Some characters are struggling with releasing their inhibitions while others are finding their inner dominant and improving their competencies.

I appreciated that each story had a sense of romance, albeit erotic. Ava March’s regency tale Twas the Night involves forbidden love between two men during a time when their shared desires was considered criminal. The sex was steamy, but the romantic desires of Michael, the dominant, to please and satisfy Percival by allowing him to assert himself in the relationship was touching and giving. Jane Davitt’s Tree Topper reveals a self-questioning dominant and a very naughty submissive. And Joey W. Hill allows Robert to have his own beautiful submissive Christmas angel, Ange in Submissive Angel.

All the stories are wickedly lovely, sexually charged and erotically satisfying. You will believe in the spirit of Christmas magic; left satisfied both emotionally and sexually in all things possible. A must read for all fans of Christmas love with a brilliant kinky twist.

Edited by Sarah Frantz (who is also my editor for Free Falling & I highly HIGHLY rec her to any author thinking of self-pubbing)...I say this because I knew any book she edited would be great and I wasn't disappointed. Lots of favorite authors contributed to this antho, and the stories are short but satisfying. They all fit together perfectly. My favorites were LA Witt's Candy Caning and Kim Dare's His Ver Last Chance. I hope Riptide does this every year. And 20% of the proceeds are donated to the Domestic Violence Project of the National Leather Association International. (www.nlaidvproject.us)

Nice set of complete stories. I did feel like they were complete in and of themselves (for the most part - the exception was the one with the girl who is now a guy which I thought needed a bit more because the taste we got was so good!). Liked them all - and they varied from more extreme (that's relative as it is all consensual), to the damaged sub, to the Dom who cannot say I love you, and everything in between. I really liked the F/f one quite a bit - and, again, the one where it was a girl and is now a guy because the mix of three with a married couple just really tripped my trigger. Fascinating!

This anthology of holiday-themed BDSM short stories all have some sweetness to them, whether dealing with love, redemption, or reuniting. I was most looking forward to Joey W. Hill's story (she's one of my favorite authors), and it did end up my favorite of the bunch, but none of the stories were disappointing. Most of the stories were M/M, with one F/F, and a M/M/F. A great collection for those looking for some holiday cheer in their BDSM.

A collection of 8 holiday tales (6 MM, 1 MMF, 1 FF) *note this is copied and pasted from my blog review of the same book*

I often see people complain about short stories saying they need to be longer, but you have to remember these stories are meant to be just a peak into the lives of the characters. All eight of these stories are by well established authors and the experience shows in the quality of not only the writing, but also the quality of the stories themselves. One thing I love about anthologies is it is a chance to check out new authors you might have otherwise overlooked. I certainly have added a few new authors to my to-be-read list. If you want some good BDSM holiday fair, pick up O Come All Ye Kinky.

Each story is set around the December holidays. Each story also features a little holiday twist. As each story stands alone I will review each individually.

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt

Overall it was a nice read. I really like D/s books where the couple is obviously in love outside the D/s relationship. Though the length of this story didn't lend itself to full character development, there was enough background given that you understand from where the characters are approaching each other. With the exception of the line "You're the toppiest thing in the apartment", the writing was well done and well edited. Sorry, but that line just made me groan (of course the Main Character groaned at it as well, so I guess it served its purpose). This was a good intro if you are not used to D/s stories. The Dom in this story is new to the scene, but takes his role very responsibly and that is reflected in the story itself.

’Twas the Night, by Ava March

I do not usually like historical romances; I like my romance set it an approximation of the present time. That being said, this one had be hooked from the first page. It was well written and well presented. It is written in third-person limited, but with point-of-views that shift between the two main characters. As such, you find out the thoughts behind the actions on both sides, something I always enjoy in a story.

Fireworks, by Katie Porter (F/F)

If you don't like girly bits in your stories, skip this one, as it is a F/F relationship. I don't have anything against F/F romance, and this one was written well, I just prefer my romance without the girly bits, much less 2. That being said, I could get behind this relationship. Both partners want what they think is best for the other and both are happy to learn they are wrong. I will definitely be giving Ms. Porter's M/M story a read and maybe even her M/F series.

Candy Caning, by L.A. Witt

The story is very sweet, in a D/s sort of way. Nate and Stephen obviously love each other and know just how to push each other's buttons. They both want what is best for the other. It really isn't a complex story but the sex is hot and, let's face it, most of the story. Witt sets up the scene well and then executes it even better. Exactly what I would expect from LA Witt.

Submissive Angel, by Joey W. Hill

This is a more complex relationship that those depicted in the first four stories as it is not an established relationship, in the strictest definition. Robert must overcome not only his own torment and grief, but also feeling of taking advantage of the slightly younger man. It is also the longest of the eight stories. We get a peak into one night of their lives, the night that they finally come together after 6 months of wanting. The story captivates you from the beginning because the author has written Ange in that manner. Though written in third person, you really do see Ange through Robert's eyes. I still have 3 to read, but this was unexpectedly my favorite so far.

Open Return, by Elyan Smith (MMF w/ Transgender F to M)

Ah menage. Every Anthology or series has to have one right? Well I don't actually agree with that statement, but I have found a few well done menage books out there. It is not a sub-genre I flock to, but it is one I will read if someone suggests a good one. Too often I just think that I want one of the people to leave the other two to be. Usually that person is the female in a M/M/F menage... what can I say I like man on man action. But anyway lets talk about THIS menage. It is a little more complicated that MMF or MFM or even MFF because one of the Ms used to be an F.

Ring Out the Old and In the New, by Alexa Snow

I really enjoyed this story. Evan is facing a crisis, the was an artists' model and feels that has been taken away along with his sense of security. Through his skills as a Dom (though I would say a gentle Dom) Russell slowly brings back the Evan he loves so much. This is a story of recovery and the power of love. Yes there are BDSM undertones, but I would call it moderate at best. This story explores more the emotional power of the D/s relationship. I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anyone who isn't sure they are comfortable with this type of story. I will definitely be checking out more from Ms. Snow.

His Very Last Chance, by Kim Dare

I thought "His Very Last Chance" was a fitting end to this collection of Kinky holiday tales. Dare is at her best with an intense Dom who wants obedience and can't show weakness and a sub who wants nothing more than to serve. The Sex is brief, this one is more about the connection between a Dom and a sub and seeing if it can be more than a few hot nights in a Leather Club.

I would like to thank Riptide Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion. However, I had already purchased this tile on my own.

TREE TOPPER by Jane Davitt – 2 stars
As my first read by Jane Davitt, I had an open mind going into this story. TREE TOPPER is about Stan and Martin and their D/s relationship. Although I enjoyed the writing style and author’s voice, I found that I couldn’t get into this story. Unfortunately, I had no connection with the characters. The sex caters to more extreme tastes, which didn’t bother me, I simply didn’t relate to characters this time around.

‘TWAS THE NIGHT by Ava March – 5 stars
I’ve read and loved Ava March’s work before and this was no different. Percival Owns and Michael Barlow are amazing together. I loved the initial hesitation and slow build-up of the story that ended with incredible sex scenes and a sense of a happily ever after. The story was perfectly paced and March’s writing is always captivating! I very much enjoyed this story!

FIREWORKS by Katie Porter – 2.5 stars
This was the only F/F story in the anthology. Emma and Rachel are perfect together. They clearly care for each other a lot. However, I felt as if there was no warm-up in this story, Porter jumps straight into the hot sex and while that is great, I felt that they rushed the ending where they tried to put a happily-ever-after together too quickly. FIREWORKS read like a porno. Full-throttle, but no plot.

CANDY CANING by LA Witt – 5+ stars
I LOVED THIS STORY!!!! This is my first story by LA Witt and after finishing this one, I promptly ran to check out the rest of her work. I was floored by this story – it’s humor, it’s heart. It literally blew my mind as I read it. Witt’s writing is stellar, luring me in with just a few sentences. I loved Nate’s POV and Stephen was a dream. I loved the natural progression of the story and felt that the author had an impressive voice. It’s also funny as hell. CANDY CANING is perfect! Definitely the clear standout in this anthology!

SUBMISSIVE ANGEL by Joey W. Hill – 3 stars
Robert and Ange have a very unique relationship. I thought Hill’s voice in this story was very strong. However, some scenes seemed to drag on for too long. For me, it was definitely the most sensual of the stories, infused with emotion and love. An enjoyable story.

OPEN RETURN by Elyan Smith – 2.5 stars
As my first story by Smith, I again went into this story open-minded. This one features a steamy threesome, but I felt that reading about Zach was a little depressing. Zach as a trans didn’t seem to have much of a presence and when coupled with Scott and Laura, I needed that as a reader. Otherwise, the sex scenes would feel like a tangle of limbs and not real characters. Also, I thought some of the wording was a bit odd at times.

RING OUT THE OLD & IN WITH THE NEW by Alexa Snow – 4 stars
Also a new-to-me author, I discovered that I enjoyed Snow’s voice. Evan and Russell are a great couple. When Evan gets mugged and suffers from scaring, he doesn’t have the will to pursue life anymore. This is an uplifting story of love and support that I really enjoyed. I thought it was very intimate and I’m looking forward to reading more of Snow’s work.

HIS VERY LAST CHANCE by Kim Dare – 4 stars
I’ve been meaning to read some Dare for some time now so I jumped at this opportunity to do so. I adored Drew and Kingsley together. Well-written and perfectly paced, I can see why Dare has such a loyal following. I am hoping to read more of her work. HIS VERY LAST CHANCE is a great introduction to Dare’s writing.

Overall verdict:
COME ALL YE KINKY is an enjoyable anthology. While some stories didn’t work for me, there were a few gems in there that I discovered that I am glad for. The beauty of anthologies is finding new authors and I think I found a few new ones that I am interested in. Since this anthology covers different kinks and varies in its extreme, I’m positive it will cater to everyone’s desires.

Oh Come All Ye Kinky is aptly named-this is a collection of almost entirely same-sex couples involved in BDSM activities at Christmas time. Some of the stories are hot, all are emotional, and some really explore the harsher aspects of BDSM, including knife play, wax play (with feathers!), suspension bondage and more.

In Tree, Topper by Jane Davitt, Martin and Stan are a relatively new couple who care for each other, but who are uncertain in their roles.
Martin, especially is unsure of his ability to be the Dom Stan needs. By talking everything out, they come to terms with their relationship.

Twas the Night by Ava March is set in London in 1820 and Percy is desperately ashamed, not only of his homosexuality, but also of his submissive nature. Can Dom Michael ease his mind by forcing him to ask for what he wants?

Kate Porter’s Fireworks features Emma and Rachel in their last session before Rachel heads to Tokyo for two years. Rachel always bails on people before they can leave her, but will her connection to Emma enable her to change?

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt tells the story of submissive Nate and his Dom, Stephen as they prepare for Christmas dinner with Nate’s disapproving family. Stephen’s Christmas gift to him convinces Nate to forego a miserable evening to spend time with his lover.

In Submissive Angel, by Joey W. Hill, Dom Robert explores a relationship with the man he rescued outside his toy shop, Ange.

Open Return by Elyan Smith is about a seriously messed up guy who was born a girl, but has undergone surgery to remove his breasts and is now known as Zach. Comments such as “Zach felt his pussy get wet,” are a bit disconcerting. Even more, Zach had a relationship with a heterosexual couple in high school and wants to return to them.

Alexa Snow’s Ring Out the Old and Ring in the New explores how Dom Russell can help his Sub, Evan, recover from a mugging that left him scarred both emotionally and physically.

His Very Last Chance is about Dom Kingsley letting his sub, Drew, know how he really feels about him.

As with any anthology, some of the stories were better than others, but all were pretty complete within themselves and contained lots of emotion. They were well edited and as long as you are into m/m, f/f, and m/f/f, it was an interesting book.

This was a fun anthology. For me, it broke down as follows:

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt was just ok, mostly because I didn't feel that connected to the characters. The wrapping paper was a nice touch, though.

'Twas the Night by Ava March might have been my favorite story in the whole book. I loved the setting, characters and their relationship. Beautifully written, very restrained. Hot. This story deserves 5 stars.

Fireworks by Katie Porter. DNF. Not for lack of trying but it was just too intense for me. I don't like humiliation or intense pain and even though the characters were supposed to be heartbroken at the start it just felt too much like anger to me instead. Not for me.

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt was another one of my favorites. I liked the humor and relatable every day life of the MC's. I could really feel the couples love for each other. Also? Hot.

Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill. C'mon, it's Joey W. Hill. Need I say more? Loved it.

Open Return by Elyan Smith. I haven't read a lot of things where a trans* character was the main character, rather than someone on the periphery and I really enjoyed Zach's viewpoint. All of the characters' unease was palpable at the beginning of the story and translated well to me as a reader. A few minor quibbles with language & dialogue that was obviously European instead of American (the story was set in Illinois) but I was able to write them off in my head to the time Zach had spent in Melbourne.

Ring Out the Old and In The New by Alexa Snow. This was good. Once again I could feel the loving relationship between the 2 MC's which is a prerequisite for me to enjoy any story in this genre.

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare. I wanted to like this one more than I did. I liked the setting and the plot and even the characters but the connection they shared just didn't translate to me as a reader.

On the whole a much better anthology than most. It's obvious time was spent on weaving these stories together PLUS part of the proceeds are being donated to charity. A win-win and I recommend it!

Just in time for the chilliness of the holidays comes this scorching anthology that focuses on the naughty and offers a little something for everyone. With the main theme of bdsm running through each story we get relationships in the m/m, f/f, and ménage genre which are so hot they practically burn the hands holding this anthology.

Each story features memorable characters struggling to find satisfaction with another during the holidays and on every level it succeeds. Each relationship is full of angst and the sexual tension generated leaves tingles in its wake. The bdsm elements are nicely twined into each story and are believably intense and act as a conduit to bring the couples together. As a reader who shies away from extreme bdsm, the heat level of these stories were of a comfortable level. They were intense without being over the top with each conclusion being immensely satisfying.

Of all the stories my particular favorites were Ava March's 'Twas the Night and Joey W. Hill's Submissive Angel. March's book being a Regency story that was able to quickly immerse me in two men's forbidden love while showing how love can bring another untold strength. Hill's book was intriguing by bringing in religious overtones both subtly and profoundly to its erotic scenes. This was a story of healing that made my heart ache.

Each story is a worthy addition to this anthology and offer a wonderful escape from the usual holiday fare. Those wanting a bit of fire to warm them up will find this on their naughty yet nice list and after reading it will never look at a candy cane the same way again.

So, if you like a bit of BDSM Kink in your Christmas Stocking of the m/m, f/f, and ménage variety then this collection is definitely one for you. Each is delivered with high emotion and some humour. As with all Anthologies readers will no doubt prefer some over others and that’s me included. The creativity by all of the above Authors to get into the Christmas spirit went above and beyond. At times I had to laugh because who knew the things you could do with wrapping paper, candy canes and Christmas lights! True Christmas Kink; fun and games. Also, despite the shortness of the stories I was amazed by the emotion these Authors were able to make me feel. I have to say that the story ‘Submissive Angel’ by Joey. W. Hill was my overall favourite. I thought this story was absolutely beautiful.

The collection of stories brought together by Sarah Frantz in this hot anthology is a wonderful mix of various holiday themed BDSM tales, that are all inventive, original, hot, surprising and well-matched. They never get boring, because they are all very distinct despite having a lot in common. Probably because the most important thing they have in common is their high quality. It's the first time Riptide brings a holiday collection like this, but I hope it's not the last time!
Here's my take on the eight kinky stories:

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt

Blurb : Martin’s new to the scene, and his sub Stan has recently stopped taking him seriously. Their tree has floggers, clamps, and cuffs underneath it, but will they ever be used? Frustrated and confused, Martin knows it will take more than a star to guide him on his way to becoming the Dom Stan needs—but their path to happiness might be shorter than he thinks.

This was a nice opening story for the anthology. It has the right amount of kink with delicious use of wrapping paper and for such a short story it has a well developed story arc with an interesting conflict and a satisfying solution. I liked Martin and Stan together and their frustration was very tangible. It was sweet how they finally opened up to each other and the message came across loud and clear: communication and talking about your feelings is necessary for an equal relationship, no matter if it's a D/s one or not. I thought theirs was an erotic little encounter and I would've liked to have seen more of their sexual chemistry. Anyhow, I believed in their HEA.
3.75 stars

’T was the Night by Ava March

Blurb : Percival Owen yearns for the nights when he can kneel before his lover, even though no self-respecting gentleman willingly submits to another. Michael wants his first Christmas with Percy to be perfect, but is frustrated by Percy’s inability to ask for what he wants. The gift Michael offers Percy—and that Percy offers in return—is the best Percy could ever hope to receive: his will to submit.

Like with everything else I've read from Ava March, I was engrossed in this story from the first page to the last. This author has a special way to tell her stories from within, as if you're inside her characters' heads, which makes you a very close witness of everything that's happening. It's as if you experience the intensity of the character's feelings yourself. Like, in this case, Percy's insecurities and struggling and contradicting feelings about his sexual preferences on the one hand and Michael's love and patience with his lover on the other hand. It's so endearing how Michael is set to help Percy battling his reluctance to express what he wants. The scene they have is incredibly hot, one of the hottest in this entire anthology (and that says a lot!). And on top of that they have an obvious emotional connection which deserves a sweet HEA and we as a reader are left satisfied in that department as well.
4.5 stars

Fireworks by Katie Porter

Blurb : Rachel’s job is taking her to Tokyo, which means leaving behind her lover and submissive, Emma. When she summons Emma for one last hurrah on New Year’s Eve, Emma answers, hoping desperately to be able to break through her ma’am’s emotional barriers and find the spark of love among the glittering fireworks.

This is the only F/F story in this anthology and, aside from perhaps one or two F/F stories in other anthologies, I don't have much experience with reading this genre, so that should be taken into account. And to be honest, so far I haven't found the same excitement yet in reading F/F stories as I have in M/M, and this story is not an exception. Maybe it's the story, maybe it's me, but I'll try to explain why this story couldn't enthuse me very much.
Foremost, I didn't love the premise and plot line: Rachel leaving for her job to Tokyo and having one last scene with her submissive lover Emma, all the while convinced that it is best for her and Emma to end things this way. Somehow this made the sex scene they have on New Year's Eve pretty 'angry' and I thought Rachel was mostly cruel (and not in a loving bdsm way) and cold. I also didn't feel that we got much of an explanation for their emotional attachment (with their relationship being long distance), other than the match in kinky sex, for which they hooked up every now and then. That way it was difficult to feel or understand these characters and specifically Rachel's sudden and late change of mind and both their declarations of love at the end. However, I liked the writing style and inventiveness (glitter!) of this author duo and I'll definitely try one of their other titles that aren't F/F in the near future, because it made me curious enough.
2.75 stars

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt

Blurb : Nate is dreading the annual Christmas visit with his family, during which they will ignore or insult his partner and Dominant. Stephen tries hard to take Nate’s mind off the trip with the promise—and threat—of a three-foot-long candy cane. It’s a race to see if Nate’s resolve or the candy cane will shatter first.

With this fabulous Christmas story L.A. Witt proves once more why I'm such a big fan of her writing. It's one of my favorites in this collection. I absolutely adored how Stephen surprised his lover and how he succeeded in taking Nate's mind of the trip home. I can honestly say that I've never thought of candy canes in a sexual way, but wow, I'm sure I can never eat or even look at one again without thinking of this story! It's so freaking hot and adorable and sweet, it just left me all happy and sated. Nate and Stephen make a wonderful couple and I would love to read more about them in a longer story if the author ever decides to write one.
4.75 stars

Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill

Blurb : After Robert found Ange bleeding in an alley, he employed the man in his vintage toy store as an act of charity. However, this Christmas, the eccentric young dancer will offer his thanks—and himself—to teach a brokenhearted Master how to open himself to love again.

I've enjoyed reading Joey W. Hill's D/s stories prior to this story and I'm in love with her voice. Also, her dominants are far from stereotypes and everything they do to their submissives is wickedly hot. Especially the way the subs get restrained is inventive and the emotional impact is made tangible. It's not different here. Robert and Ange have those elements all going for them. And I enjoyed them very much. However, what keeps me from rating this story higher, is the way their backstory is told and how the story has been paced. I felt as if the flow of the story was interrupted by too much pondering and looking back. Additionally, I didn't really care for the picture made by the manger introduced into the last sex scene. However, apart from these little struggles I was still entertained by this original and beautifully written story.
4 stars

Open Return by Elyan Smith

Blurb : Fifteen years ago, Zach left the small Midwestern town he grew up in, confused and scared and determined to figure out who he was. Now transformed, he’s drawn back by the memory and promise of the dominant couple he left behind. Laura and Scott are still together, and as the year draws to a close, they explore old feelings and new ones as they discover they’ve all been waiting for Zach to come home.

This is not the first transgender story I've read but its still rather a novelty for me. I liked how this is told from the point of view of Zach who left town as Hannah fifteen years ago. We learn about his feelings and thoughts and we see reactions of people through his eyes. This part is well done. Zach is back in town to reunite with Laura and Scott, a dominant couple he knows intimately from his past. It's heartwarming to see that they don't care about his gender change one way or the other. They reminiscence their past as a threesome together and end up discovering each other anew in a sexual way.
Unfortunately, when the story finishes we are left with quite some questions, which confuses me about how I feel about this story. I think it packs too many different elements to make it work for me in the end: there's the transgender theme, the reunion with the former lovers (but also with his foster parents), the ménage a trois, de D/s element, the fact that Laura and Scott have children. I'm not even sure if it has a happy ending or not. It probably would've worked better a) in a full-length novel or b) when one or a few of the many elements were left out of this short story.
3 stars

Ring Out the Old and In the New by Alexa Snow

Blurb : Recovering from a mugging on the London Underground, Evan has barely left the house in weeks. His partner and Dom, Russell, finally manages to drag him outside on Christmas Eve, but it’s the surprise that Russell has waiting for him back home that helps Evan get past his trauma and remember what’s important: being on his knees for the man he loves.

Oh, this was a rather heartbreaking little story. Evan is scarred and traumatized due to a mugging during which he got sliced in the face with a knife. His Dom Russell has been very patient with him but now he wants him to go out to see some friends and to celebrate Christmas Eve together. That part of the story alone was heartwarming enough thanks to Russell's caring way, but on top of that Evan also has some serious doubts about his looks and Russell's feelings for him now that he's scarred. And being the loving Dom and lover that Russell is, he has the right answer to those doubts as well. Like most other stories in the anthology this one features an established couple with some temporary problems. It's a well-told and enjoyable story, in which nothing really stands out in a negative way.
3.75 stars

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare

Blurb : Drew screwed up. So when his master, Kingsley, summons him on New Year’s Eve, he knows he deserves the punishment in store for him. Everything changed for Kingsley when he overheard Drew running his mouth to his friends on Boxing Day. Now, there’s only one way he can possibly ring in the New Year: starting over fresh, either with an ending or a new beginning.

Kim Dare's D/s stories always guarantee to give me a feel-good(-though-kinky) time. Her characters usually don't converse all that much, other than through body language. That's what makes misunderstandings as the one between Drew and Kingsley happen. And I love the way Dare makes her characters work through it all until a solution (and a delicious happy ending) has been reached. What did work very well for me in this story is the alternating point of view. And I liked how the scorching chemistry between them had this emotional layer added as well. As a last contribution in this anthology (also thanks to the fireworks and candles used in this story) it is a fabulous way to ring out the year and to conclude this bundle of kinky and hot stories!

I received my copy from Riptide Publishing through NetGalley.

Review reposted because my first attempt was riddles with mistakes I only discovered after posting.

You’d think that after about 44 years of being an avid reader I would have a pretty good idea of what I like and don’t like. This book proved to me though that, much to my delight, I’m still able to surprise myself every now and again. Had you asked me a few days ago I would have told you that I generally don’t like short stories and prefer to stay away from same-sex relationships in my books. One seasonal read later I find myself having to change my mind. The stories in this book charmed and captivated me. Of course I liked some more than others, but overall I found this to be a wonderful book of love stories. Yes, all stories are about same-sex couples and all involve power-exchange – BDSM – relationships in some way shape or form. But reading them made me realise something I should have known all along; a love story is a love story, regardless of who or what the people in the relationship are or how they prefer to express their affection. For me this was an eye-opening and warm-hearted (or should I say, hot) holiday read. Perfect for the season we’re in.

Below are short descriptions of the individual stories:

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt: Things are not going well for Martin and Stan. An insecure Dom and his subversive sub are heading for a miserable Christmas and possibly the end of their relationship. But maybe a good talk, some special Christmas presents and a new understanding can make this into the best Christmas yet.

I liked this story because for once we’re dealing with an experienced sub and a novice Dom. Most, if not all of the BDSM stories and books I’ve read so far have dealt with the opposite scenario and it was nice to see the story from the perspective of a enthusiastic but very inexperienced Dom for a change.

‘Twas the Night by Ava Marsh: Christmas day 1820 and Percival Owens is on his way to Michael Barlow’s house. It has been a few months since Percy started visiting Michael. And although he feels guilty about needing to be with the slightly older man and is confused about his need to obey Michael’s every single order, he can’t imagine living without these visits.
Michael is delighted when he hears Percival enter his house. He has been enjoying his evenings with the young, submissive man. But he wants more. Dominating Percy is a delight, but not enough. He wants Percy to voice his needs and wants instead of silently accepting every order. But will Percy be able to overcome his shame and give Michael the one thing he really wants this Christmas?

A lovely story about two men getting to know each other better made extra interesting by the fact that it is set in 1820 when their sort of relationship was still very illegal.

Fireworks by Katie Porter: Rachel and Emma have been in a long-distance relationship for two years but this New Year’s eve will be their last night together. Rachel, the Domme in their relationship is going to Japan for two years and Emma will be left behind. It breaks Emma’s heart to think that she will lose the woman who knows her, her body and her needs so well, that she will have to find a way to go on without the woman she loves. And while Rachel dreads saying goodbye to Emma her fears of commitment and abandonment are far greater than the desire to take Emma with her and start a full-time relationship. Or are they?

I didn't quite get the motivation of one of the characters in this story, but enjoyed the movement towards the happy ever after.

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt: Stephen and Nate are getting ready for Christmas but it isn't a happy time for them. The prospect of having to visit Nate's family on Christmas Eve and submit themselves to the verbal abuse his mother routinely levels at them has both of them dreading the day. All it takes to make their mood turn festive is for Nate to make a huge decision and an enormous candy cane put to inspired use.

Charming and uplifting.

Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill: Robert is owns a toy shop and has been single for a long time when he finds Ange behind the dumpster in his yard one night. The younger man has clearly been savagely beaten but still manages to impress Robert with the broken toy he has mended. What really gets to Robert though is Ange’s clearly submissive attitude towards him. Six months later it is coming up to Christmas. Ange has been working for Robert since the day he was found and Robert is finding it ever harder to stay away from him, despite his reservations about returning to his old life-style. When Robert at last gives in to the urge to make Ange submit to him it is an experience better than either of them could have hoped for; an experience that will bring them together in time for Christmas.

A lovely, sexy and truly romantic story with elements that could be supernatural but don’t have to be. Very clever and probably my favourite in this collection.

Open Return by Elyan Smith: Zach returns home after fifteen years, back to the place where people knew him as Hannah before he left. Fifteen years have been a long time, but not long enough to forget Laura and Scott and the relationship Zach had with them; a relationship in which he submitted, completely, to their desires. It will take a while though to figure out whether or not fifteen years have been too long for the three of them to get back to their earlier intimacy.

This story didn’t work as well for me as the other ones did. I couldn’t quite get my head around Zach and didn’t get a real feel for the relationship between him and Scott and Laura.

Ring Out the Old and In the New by Alexa Snow: It has been two months since Evan was attacked on the tube and left with a scar on his beautiful face. Two months during with Evan has wanted nothing except hide in the house he is sharing with Richard, his partner and Master, while keeping his emotions bottled up and close. But, with Christmas coming up Richard decides it is time for Evan to start facing the world again. Evan is reluctant, sure that after what he has been through life can never be the same, or safe again. But with Richards love, patience and dominance, Evan might just find a way back to the man he used to be.

A beautiful and loving story.

Chance by Kim Dare: Drew knows he is in trouble with his Master, Kingsley. He should never have said that his Master doesn’t do romance, even if it’s true, even if he doesn’t mind. Drew also knows that tonight he is going to pay for opening his big mouth. Before the clock strikes twelve and the New Year starts, Drew may lose the Master he has fallen in love with. Kingsley has been in shock ever since he heard Drew say that he knows his Master doesn’t do love. What if Drew is with him because he wants a Master who doesn’t fall in love with his sub? Will admitting his feelings to Drew cost him his wonderful relationship or might it be the start of a bright and very happy New Year?

Romantic and sexy; a charming read.

I’m always in the mood for a good kinky story or two, so this anthology seemed to be right up my alley. I’ll briefly go over each one.

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt

Martin and Stan are trying to make their BDSM relationship work, but something isn’t happening for either of them, and they’ve become complacent. Things seem bleak until Martin stumbles across Stan’s conversation with an old Dom, and the two are forced to talk it out.

I liked this story, it was short and sweet and to the point. Both Martin and Stan were a little annoying in the beginning, because neither wanted to really trust the other, and the concept of conversation seemed to be foreign to them. I would think that couples in a committed BDSM relationship would have lots of experience with communication, so that was a bit frustrating. But all in all it was a cute overall story with a nice little HEA.
I give Tree Topper a B

‘Twas the Night by Ava March

Percy has been secretly meeting Michael for awhile now, and loves their evenings together. He worries though that Michael will tire of him and his insecurities. Michael notices that Percy likes when he takes charge, but also notices that Percy seems to be holding back, so after some coaxing, Michael gets Percy to speak up to his desires.

I’m not a big fan of ANY historical erotica, I don’t know why, I’m just not. I’ve read a few of March’s stories in the past and while the stories are good, they just don’t do much for me. I know these are super popular books though, so March fans won’t be disappointed.
I give ‘Twas the Night a C

Fireworks by Katie Porter

Rachel and Emma plan one last night together before Rachel moves to Hong Kong. She is scared to admit that she wants more from her sub Emma, and is ready to let her go instead of fighting for what she wants. But after a powerful evening together on New Years Eve, Emma might prove to Rachel how perfect their relationship can be, here or overseas.

I really enjoy Porter’s books, however this story was a little too much for me. At times I felt like the relationship between these two was just physical, and couldn’t feel any emotional connection. The sexy scenes were also a little too much for me, with there being a lot of smut and not enough romance.
I give Fireworks a C-

Candy Caning by LA Witt

Stephen and Nate have a wonderful relationship, satisfying for them both sexualy and emotionally. But every year on Christmas they go to Nate’s family home and suffer through a miserable evening together. But while shopping prior to the big day, Nate sees a large candy cane that would be perfect for some kinky play, and a spice in their already hot relationship.

I think this was probably my favorite story in the book. Both Nate and Stephen are so great, Nate with his desire to always please Stephen, and Stephen with his willingness to do anything for Nate. I loved that their relationship was already solid, and that they built it up even stronger. I will definitely be looking for more from Witt, especially if I can find some longer stuff!
I give Candy Caning a B+

Submissive Angel by Joey W Hill

Robert hired Ange months ago, and has been attracted to him ever since. But Ange was beaten and Robert is scared to act of his feelings. But late one night in his store, Robert will finally act on what he’s been feeling for Ange, and explore their sexuality in ways he never thought Ange would be willing to go.

This story seemed a lot less intense than the others in the series, and while I liked the breakup of the other, more intense stories, this seemed to have a little something missing to it. I wasn’t completely invested in Robert and Ange’s relationship, but liked their sexy interlude at the end.
I give Submissive Angel a C

Open Return by Elyan Smith

Zach left his small town home over 15 years ago, and now he’s back. Although everyone knew him as Hannah, he is most excited to reconnect with a married couple he left behind years ago. The three of them had forced a bond, and when Zach needed to get his head on straight, he left them with no turning back. But now he wants to see what could come of a renewed relationship.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a transgender story before, and was intrigued by the number of issues Smith tried to tackle in one novella. Unfortunately, I just don’t think she had enough time to smooth over all the issues that were brought forth in this short story. From the relationship Zach had with Laura and Scott to the complications that will undoubtedly arise with their renewed relationship, this felt a little unresolved. However, I was intrigued by the uniqueness of it all.
I give Open Return a B-

Ring Out the Old and In the New by Alexa Snow

Evan is petrified to go out in public again, both because of the scar left on his face and the memories of the brutal mugging he endured. Russell knows that it’s time for Evan to get out and move on from the trauma. As his Dom and partner, Russell uses his influence over Evan to get him out on Christmas Eve and back into the land of the living.

This was a really short and simple yet sweet story. Poor Evan was so scared given his history, and yet his trust in Russell and their relationship gets him through his first time out of the house, back on the underground, and facing his fear of getting back into the groove of life. I would definitely be interested in seeing more from Snow.
I give Ring Out the Old and In The New a B

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare

Kinglsey overheard his sub Drew commenting on his lack of romance, and is determined to show Drew that there are ways to be romantic within their heavy BDSM lifestyle. Drew is worried that he did something wrong when he commented on Kinglsey’s lack of romance and is desperate to prove that he meant it as a compliment. One night together will allow them both to prove their point.

I’ve had mixed emotions about Dare’s books in the past, yet I thought this was a great story and good end to the anthology. Most of the story is spent in the bedroom, and the scenes between Drew and Kingsley are pretty sexy! We didn’t really get the chance to know them as characters, however the glimpse into their lives was sexy and sweet. I would have liked to keep reading these two characters so that we could have gotten a better feel for them as individuals.
I give His Very Last Chance a B

Overall this was a very unique anthology. There were good stories, and I look forward to another edition next year. While not all the stories worked for me, I also found a few authors that I will be looking forward to reading more of in the future.

Eight short stories of fairly intense BDSM revolving around a Christmas theme.

Be aware that "twenty-percent of all proceeds from the sale of O Come All Ye Kinky will be donated to the Domestic Violence Project of the National Leather Association-International" intended to provide aid for victims of domestic violence, promote safe sexual practices, and fight bigotry.

My Take
With all the chat there's been about Fifty Shades and other novels which explore the BDSM scene, I've become very aware of how ignorant I am of this attraction. Yes, I've been reading a number of them and---keeping in mind that this is my only experience---I think O Come All Ye Kinky's selection of short stories is an excellent introduction to what attracts those who need this type of stimulation. The reasons the kink appeals to them.

Each story is different: different settings, different characters, different scenarios. Yet, each is the same. With two characters who care very much for each other. Some are aware of their mutual love. Others walk a long, hard road to find it. The participants in BDSM are just like vanilla people, having the same worries and hopes. The same fears. They simply take a different path to fulfillment.

On the negative side: I'm kinda missing the point of why an eBook has a table of contents if I can't click to one of its stories? Nor do I understand the point of the graphics. Maybe it's just the Kindle-effect, but it's very irritating. Someone should have looked it over before publishing.

The Stories
Jane Davitt's "Tree Topper" is a contemporary romance and emphasizes the importance of communication when Martin believes he's a lousy Dom and Stan won't talk to him.

This was cute and a good example for anyone in a relationship as to how crucial it is to your and your partner's happiness to TALK.

Ava March's "'Twas the Night" is an historical romance and very cute. Percival Owens' relationship with his mother is the same as his sexual and job preference: submissive. It's Michael Barlow's forcing him to voice his wants and his shame, Michael's appreciation for Percy's strength in giving up control, his assurance that mutual want is all that's required.

Katie Porter's "Fireworks" is a contemporary romance and was very disturbing for its violence. Yeah, I know, BDSM can be violent, but Rachel is just vicious with it even as Emma simply wants more.

Rachel is so incredibly insecure while Emma is so in want and neither is able to communicate this to the other. A transfer to Tokyo is about to separate the two and Rachel daren't ask for more.

L.A. Witt's "Candy Caning" was too sweet and funny! This is a contemporary relationship in which each knows the other loves him, and the story dives into the dismal abyss of the family Christmas dinner. Nate's mother is a bitch-and-a-half, and Christmas dinner has been a nightmare ever since Nate began bringing Stephen.

Stephen may be the Dominant partner, but not when it comes to Christmas shopping, LOL. And he loves Nate enough to come along. Very handy when Stephen finds the perfect cane for his boy!

This was one of my favorites.

Joey W. Hill's "Submissive Angel" is another lovely, contemporary story. This tale is about Robert and his vintage toy shop and the young man he rescues from a horrible beating.

In some ways, each is rescuing the other. The balletic Ange with his appreciation for life, Christmas, and Robert, who needs someone real in his life.

Another favorite, I definitely want to read more Joey Hill!

Elyan Smith's "Open Return" is a rather sad, terrifying, and hopeful contemporary romance all at once. Zach was once Hannah and he escaped his hometown to find himself only to return one Christmas Eve. For all the wandering and exploration, he's never found what he had in Scott and Laura.

This was confusing. Smith did well in teasing me in, making me wonder who or what Zach had been before, however, the revelation towards the end was unsatisfying. I had too many questions still revolving in my head. Nor was I happy that Smith hadn't explained Michael and Elaine. Just a few brief mentions of two people who took him in and cared for him. Provided him with a refuge for so many years. And now he's back, using them again.

Alexa Snow's "Ring Out the Old and In the New", a contemporary romance, is just heartbreaking. Evan was attacked and cut in the Tube one night, and, two months later, he's still terrified to leave their apartment. They haven't had sex since that night, and Russell is worried at how isolated Evan is.

It takes some force and a lot of love to convince Evan he's as beautiful as ever.

Kim Dare's "Very Last Chance" is a bit cold with a nervous Dom and a nervous sub. Each has fallen in love with the other and neither believes the other returns that love.

It's an interesting conflict with a Dominant who is trying to show his skeptical sub that he loves him without losing his authority while the sub is terrified that his unromantical Master is about to cut him loose. It's the candle wax scene which brings Drew to the realization that he loves Kingsley. And to the despair that his love is hopeless.

In some respects, it's almost funny how scared Kingsley is. He is such an intimidating man, and this contrast with his fear that he'll lose Drew, that he won't be able to declare his love without losing Drew's respect is both sad and embarrassing. Embarrassing because I think it's the fear anyone has in laying oneself open to rejection.

The Cover
The cover is vividly intense with its reds and oranges. I liked the holiday touches with the holly in the corners and Santa's two "elves" going at it in the background. Then there's the red ribbon wrapping the foremost character's arms. It is living up to its theme!

The title just cracks me up. It appeals to the sexual side of the stories as well as carrying on the theme of Christmas with its Come All Ye Kinky.

As anthologies go, a volume that contains several different kinds of kink, tinged with a dash of Holiday cheer, makes for a very entertaining read. With a mixture of authors and situations, there is probably something here for everyone who wants to spice up their reading a little bit – or significantly, as the case may be. Some stories are set in the US, some in the UK, which proves (unsurprisingly) that variations of BDSM are alive and well on both sides of the Atlantic.

Tree Topper, by Jane Davitt
This couple presents us with an interesting problem: a sub and a Dom who have fallen out of synch. Stan seems to no longer respect his Dom, but keeps pushing; so there must be something more. Martin has never been a full-time Dom before. He loves Stan but has no idea how to recreate the bond and trust they need and want as a basis for their kinky play. Things come to a head when they decorate the Christmas tree together, and the series of questions and answers that lead to the final solution is very interesting. While the background is pretty serious and the psychology real, the action resulting from the discussions is very hot.

'Twas the Night, by Ava March
Percival, the sub, and Michael, the Dom, may be men of the Regency era, but their desire to submit and dominate, respectively, is the same as it would be were they alive today. The image of what a "man" should be like was even stricter back then, though, so Percival has a very hard time admitting he wants to submit. Ever the perfect Dom, Michael has figured this out and finds a "playful" way for Percival to communicate his needs. The resulting scene is as loving as it is hot.

Candy Caning, by L.A. Witt
This story is as funny as it is hot. Nate is very submissive, when he gets into his headspace, and needs a hard hand to keep him in line. Stephen doesn’t always give him what he wants, and that alone leads to lots of (very welcome) tension. The "will he, won’t he" is definitely part of this couple's recipe for success. The playful, and not so playful, mystery around the 3-foot candy cane and what it might or might not do to Nate's bottom once applied was playful, made me laugh, and ended up in a very hot scene. I'll never look at candy canes the same way again!

Submissive Angel, by Joey W. Hill
Ange and Robert's story is very touching and as much about love and finding that one special person and opening your heart to him as it is about kink and submission. What begins as an act of charity when Robert rescues Ange and takes him in, slowly evolves into the recognition that Robert is attracted to Ange. He hesitates to let himself go, to unleash his domination on the fragile-looking dancer, but eventually, he cannot deny they both want more than just friendship. A very touching story about the discovery of loves, as well as the realization both partners need more than a vanilla relationship – despite initial appearances to the contrary and old fears.

Ring Out the Old and In the New, by Alexa Snow
Evan has been traumatized, and is no longer the man Russell fell in love with. Nevertheless, the Dom stands by his sub, and even figures out a way to get them back on track. This goes to show that too much patience and understanding can be a bad thing – in any relationship but especially so in a D/s situation. Both Evan and anyone who reads this will see that sometimes pushing someone back into "normal", even though it hurts initially, can be the right thing to do. Thoughtfully written and very realistic, this story's moral is that hiding due to fear is never a good thing, and that sometimes we need help from those who love us to learn to appreciate the implications of that basic truth.

His Very Last Chance, by Kim Dare
With the typical Kim Dare touch of a "sub in trouble", she had me slightly worried for Drew's sake form the very start. The sub never really seems to know what's going on in her stories, and Drew is no exception. Kingsley has a definite agenda, and I really enjoyed finding out what that was as the story progressed. Not at all what Drew (or I!) expected, but delivered with a definite flair for the dramatic, the resolution was as hot as it was touching and emotional. The "misdeed" Drew thinks he is being punished for only gradually emerges, and Kingsley's solution may be surprising, but very much in character. It made me smile, and I thoroughly appreciated the developments as well as the ending. Nicely done!

Tree Toppers by Jane Davitt - 4 stars
I have read stories in the past which tried to get across the idea of the struggles and mistakes of a newbie Dom, but this one has been the best at it thusfar. Martin is very believable in his mistakes and what he learns from them. And in how the situation is corrected. Stan was also in the wrong in how he attempted to go about things between them, but it took a catalyst and a heart to heart to figure out why they were both struggling. Very, very enjoyable read.

'Twas the Night by Ava March - 3 stars
This was a historical, but the historical touches were so light that you could almost not notice but for clothing and brief mention of society. Percy struggles with his desire to submit being considered unmanly. Michael helps him see the strength in submission and deepens their relationship by giving Percy a voice in his submission.

Fireworks by Katie Porter - 4 stars
So, I've been meaning to try a F/F for a while now, and here was my chance. While apparently it's not much my thing as far as turn-ons go, this was a well-balanced, very emotional story of a Domme who's pulling away from the best thing she's ever had because of her own cowardice, and the sub who knows that's exactly what it is and doesn't know how to stop her from doing it. Quite creative in the kink too. =)

Candy Caning by L.A. Witt - 3.5 stars
Erotic encounter wrapped around wanting to avoid family drama and just stay home with the person who loves you most. Nothing more to say on that.

Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill - 2.5 stars
This story just did not do it for me. It was too long to be short and too short to be long. I had too many questions left about one character, and I was too far in the head of the other one. I actually think this one had too much play in it and don't feel like I learned enough about Ange, only about Robert. It bored me as one long scene, which is a bad thing when this is (I believe) the longest story in the anthology. I think I might actually like it more as a full story and not just a single scene.

Open Return by Elyan Smith - 4.5 stars
There is something about Elyan's writing of trans characters that I really love. There's an emotional edge that's worked in with very subtle details. One word--brittle--stuck with me because that one word was the perfect summation of the entire feeling of this beautiful story. Also, I had no issues with the descriptions of female action in this story, so perhaps it was just the earlier story which didn't turn me on. The reason I gave it 4.5 instead of 5 stars is because But all in all I really loved this story.

Ring Out the Old and In the New by Alexa Snow - 4 stars
Not only was this story not one long scene (unlike most of them), but there was something emotional beyond the kink in this story as well. One character has a scar on his face from a mugging and the other has to assure him that he can go on with his life, that people aren't just looking past him at the scar. Very touching and well done.

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare - 4 stars
Another single long scene, but this one touched me with its treatment of men and Masters and misunderstandings. The sub believes that this is his very last chance to impress his Master and get back in his good graces or go their separate ways. The Master is fretting about how to show his sub he actually does have a romantic bone in his body, even if it might be one of the smallest. Fun read.

O COME ALL YE KINKY is a fabulously hot, Christmas-themed, BDSM anthology.

Tree Topper is a story of finding and defining roles in a new relationship. Martin is insecure in his new role as a Dom, which is making his sub, Stan, feel lost. When the two reach a breaking point they finally open up to each other and their honesty brings them to a place of happiness. I enjoyed the insecure Dom part of this story- not something often seen in BDSM books.

‘Twas the Night was a very enjoyable to read as it addresses the age old dilemma of feeling guilty about your own desires. Percy doesn't realize it, but he needs Michael's help in feeling comfortable submitting to another man. Michael asks that his Christmas gift from Percy be vocalization of his desires, which turns into a gift for both of them.

Fireworks is a story of blocked emotions. Rachel and Emma have been together, long-distance, for two years. Rachel is careful to keep emotional blocks in place for fear of being hurt. Now that her job is taking her out of the country she has an excuse to end things with Emma before Emma ends them with her. But Emma is in love with Rachel and heart-broken that Rachel won't open up emotionally and allow their relationship to go further. Their last New Year's Eve together forces the two of them to examine their feelings and their relationship.

Candy Caning was a more playful story about Stephen torturing his sub, Nate, with the threat of using a large candy cane on him in the bedroom- which Nate is very much hoping for. The two are both dreading their annual visit to Nate's family so the thrill of something new in the bedroom keeps them both distracted.

Submissive Angel is a sweet story of a new relationship forming in the midst of past hurts. Robert is nervous about taking on a new sub after his last relationship ended badly, but he can't deny his attraction to Ange any longer. Ange has made it obvious to Robert since the first night they met that he would like more from their relationship but he patiently waits for Robert to come around.

Open Return is a story of "going home." Zach abruptly left his hometown, his family, and his two lovers. Now, fifteen years later, he returns in hopes of finding whatever piece of him has been missing this whole time. Zach, Laura, and Scott had a wildly sexual and explorative winter as teenagers; Zach leaving deeply hurt and surprised both Laura and Scott. Zach's return is even more surprising and stirs some buried emotions. The redevelopment of this relationship was very well written.

Ring Out the Old and In the New was sad and sweet. Evan and Russell are struggling with their relationship ever since Evan was attacked and hurt by a mugger. Evan believes everyone sees him differently since the attack and the subsequent scar left on his face. He is dealing with some deep-rooted fears that he needs his Dom, Russell's, help in overcoming. Thankfully, Russell is up to the task.

His Very Last Chance is about redemption. What Drew doesn't realize is that his Dom feels he is the one who needs redeeming. When Kingsley overheard Drew telling his friends that Kingsley is totally unromantic, Drew feared he had screwed up and lost Kingsley forever. In reality, the comment made Kingsley realize that he needed to do a better job of showing Drew how he really feels or risk losing Drew.

All of these stories were sweet and fantastic and so much fun to read. A great collection.

Fascinating and entertaining mix of BDSM-themed holiday short stories. I loved the variety of the collection, that each of the stories was unique and felt different.

My favorites:
Submissive Angel by Joey W. Hill - 5 stars
Even though we only see them on one evening, it was fascinating to get to be in Robert's head and see the way Ange had slowly worn him down and helped Robert learn to trust him enough for the events of that evening to be possible. Plus, the setting is fascinating and left me with some spectacularly beautiful mental pictures.

His Very Last Chance by Kim Dare - 4.5 stars
So sweet to see such a romantic side to BDSM. The characters were both delightful, the setting was gorgeous, and the way poor Drew has himself all worked up for nothing was adorable. Very sweet story.

Tree Topper by Jane Davitt - 4 stars
I don't usually like reading about established relationships in need of repair, but it totally worked for me here. Getting to see Martin and Stan re-establish the communication necessary for a healthy D/s relationship was delightful. As was watching them both be able to return to the roles that made them happiest.

The other stories were good, for the most part, but I didn't connect with them the way I did with those three. Overall, however, a delightful, varied, unique collection. Very fun.

What a great anthology! There's something for everyone. M/M, F/F, menage... all here. A great introduction to authors I hadn't read that I wish to check out. (I had only previously read L.A. Witt before.) Really, this is kink done right. None of this 50 Shades apologetic bullshit. These people enjoy their kinks! I can't even pick a favourite story out of the bunch because they were all that good. :) I guess I especially liked "Fireworks" by Katie Porter because I read so little f/f fiction. Of course that could change tomorrow. *LOL* But believe me, there are stories here that I will read again and again. Do yourself a favour and whatever time of year it is, check out O Come All Ye Kinky. You won't be disappointed. :) (And yes, I did finish it in the wee hours of Christmas morning. *LOL*)

(M/M romance + F/F + another combination which I'm not sure how to label [I believe it's best described M/F/M except with a bit of a twist)

It was an okay anthology with an interesting mix of stories, relationships and people. My first venture into F/F went. . . interestingly. Not exactly mind blowing, but it was a new experience.

My favourites would definitely be Submissive Angel, Tree Topper and His Very Last Chance.
