Clare O'Beara Hi folks,
Two of my seven Kindle books are free Friday and Saturday, 14- 15 Feb.
I'm inviting everyone to download and I hope you enjoy the reads.

One is light crime and the other is equestrian romantic suspense. Both are set in Ireland. The crime book does have one scene at the Irish National Stud, so I'm mentioning it here, but it is not a horsey book itself.

The books are not written for young people but only the romance is specifically an adult book.

If you get a chance to drop reviews to Amazon and Goodreads I'll be thrilled.

In case there is any problem with the link, the titles are:
Silks And Sins
Murder at Irish Mensa

Nice to meet you! I see you write about mermaids. I've read some good mermaid books lately, it seems quite popular.

I like your horse cover and I read a lot of horse books so I'll keep an eye out for it.

Ann If you're anything like me, you grew up loving books by Walter Farley, Bonnnie Bryant, and Joanna Campbell. My passion was the Thoroughbred Series, and I'm excited to blare the bugle and call to post North Oak, the Thoroughbred Series' heir apparent. In Born to Run we meet Alex, an orphan on the run from the law who somehow finds herself on the doorstep of one of Kentucky's prestigious racing farms, North Oak. Swept up in the musical jingle jangle of bit and stirrup, million dollar horse flesh, and the lure of a place to call home, Alex wants more than anything to be a part of horse racing. But the law has not forgotten her and soon comes knocking. Can this newly turned thirteen-year-old find a happily ever after?

Brittney Update for fans of Lucy's Chance (Red Rock Ranch, book 1) ... the sequel, Showdown, will be released December 19th via Amazon (currently available for pre-sale)!

Showdown (Red Rock Ranch, book 2) by Brittney Joy

"Taylor and Lucy mesh together like a tight cinch and a broncy horse – an explosion waiting to happen.

. . . Blonde and sassy, Taylor Johnson is used to guys falling at her feet. Blue ribbons always come easy. And, dropping a grand on new cowboy boots and a pair of chaps is the norm. So why does the new stablehand keep getting under Taylor’s skin?

. . . A newbie to Red Rock Ranch, Lucy Rose is comfortable in a ponytail and jeans. Her makeup routine consists of a dirt smudge and chapstick. And, if she had her choice, she’d spend every minute with her beloved horse Chance . . . and far away from Taylor, the rodeo princess in need of an attitude adjustment.

But, in a twist neither saw coming, Taylor and Lucy are forced to work together. Will they play nice? Or will their summer at Red Rock Ranch go out in a bang?"

C.G. Hi I'm fairly new to the group. This is my book Celtic Summer.
Celtic Summer

Love, lost chances, and the bond between a girl and her horse transcend an ancient British rebellion to be reincarnated two thousand years later in modern Australia.
It’s not that Nandalie Bobs doesn’t believe in reincarnation, she’s just never given it much thought.
Until she meets Celtic Summer, a haughty Arabian mare with a temperament at odds to her beauty. Nandalie can’t place what she sees in those mysterious equine eyes. She only knows she is part of it. Part of the past. And part of the powerful soul that looks back at her.
12000 miles away and 2000 years earlier
Handsome Marcus Caelius Volpicsus owns the talent of a bard and the skills of a warrior.
Ena might love him.
If he were not a centurion.
Not that the British charioteer is in want of a man. Ena’s life is crowded with gorgeous warriors competing for her attention.
Yet in it all Ena needs only her spirit twin Edana, her grey mare with the quick stride and courageous jump.
But the times they live in are troubled by an increasingly oppressive Roman rule. Crippling taxes and abuses peaking in an act so despicable it will put torch to the powder of discontent.

Clare O'Beara Hi Christine,

That's an impressive story in Celtic Summer and you must have done a great deal of research.

I review for Fresh Fiction and I also post on Amazon. If you would like a review I would be very interested because the historical romance aspect gives your book broad appeal. And of course because I love horses. And because I'm Irish. If you would be interested in sending me a Pdf just get in touch, otherwise the best of Celtic luck with your book.
