The creators of the "Toy Story" films re-open the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of our favorite gang of toy characters in "Toy Story 3." Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of Andy's toys are as fun and adventurous as always, but none of them can deny that things in Andy's room have changed. Andy is seventeen now and just three days away from heading off to college. Find out what happens to the beloved toys when they're compelled to leave Andy's room behind and embark on an all-new, comedic adventure in "Toy Story 3."
A childhood classic, when I learned there was going to be a 3rd one and Andy was going to be in College, I was so intrigued, I myself was about to start college at the same time, Andy and I literally grew up together and the same experiences were so relateable! This series is the sole reason I kept so many toys as a kid and literally Andy's journey was mine, growing up, getting rid of toys and keeping others, with plans to put them in storage until a time came to play with them again with kids of my own, or nieces and nephews.
I watched this in theatres and nearly lost my marbles when "that" scene happens. I honestly thought it was going to end in that way, I saw no way out. Then the actual ending occurred in the most bitter-sweet way possible and I left that theater feeling shaken, and yet complete. As far as I am concerned, the story ends here.
This is the book version of the film “Toy Story 3” and I really enjoyed reading this book. This book is mainly about what woody, buzz lightyear and his friends experienced when they were accidentally being donated to a day care center as their owner, Andy, prepares to leave for college, and racing to get home before Andy leaves. The story was quite touched as all of the toys confronted all kinds of difficulties together and and last successfully returned to their owner. This book teaches us a lot of thoughts of life, therefore I will recommend everyone to read this book.
Sure, it's just a retelling of the events in the movie, but I still enjoyed revisiting this brilliant story. Which is why I can't give it any less than 5 stars. (Although there were a couple of inaccuracies. Like, the book mentioned Andy winning the aliens, when in actuality he thought they were a gift from his Mom at the end of Toy Story 2.)
