This was my favorite book as a child that my mother read to me. The main character was named, Nan! But really, a beautiful, very worn book that I treasure.

Excellent children's story. Delightful, fanciful. Just the sort of book to read to your children to get them interested in fantasy literature.

A very good read. Would be great to know what their lives were really like as his daughter said it was an awful marriage
