She often cowrites with Fujisaki Miyako, who authored the novels of Yoshino Chiaki no baai in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi.

Este tomo estuvo bien, pero no tanto como el anterior, aunque las cosas cambiaron bastante en este tomo.
Siento que desde lo del padre de Usagi, que por una vez por todas entro en razón, ya la historia paso a otro nivel. Ahora que Misaki ya tiene 21, porque en dos páginas me metieron 2 años, tiene que ver que hacer una vez que se gradue de la universidad. Tratar de conseguir un trabajo e independizarse de Usagi, tal cual como se pautó en un principio cuando empezó a quedarse a vivir en su casa.
Pero Misaki ni siquiera sabe que hacer ¿Irse y olvidar todo lo que vivió con Akihiko? ¿Quedarse y blanquear su relación ante su hermano? ¿Dejar estar todo como está y ver que pasa cuando llegue el momento?
Ya son otros problemas que hay que lidear y eso pone a prueba la fuerza mental de Misaki ante la tormenta que se viene.
Me gustó, pero senti que le falto más.

July 19, 2013I've grown to love Misaki and Usagi more, but they still bore me. I'll keep saying this, Miyagi and Shinobu have a lot of potential. Do something with it, gdi.

QUICK THOUGHTS (on the series not this volume):
I have been following this for a while and yes, some of the usual tropes and annoyances that come with the genre I still dislike (especially when it comes to CONSENT!!), I enjoy Junjou Romantica.
I like the unique setting with Usagi's job and the glimpses we get into that and I especially Hiro and Nowaki as a couple. (I can identify with Hiro quite a bit at times, as well as with Misaki.) Something that strikes a chord in me with this story are some of the memorable quotes I have jotted down here and there. (And for such a long time, too.)
I had stopped reading this for quite a while, so it makes me happy that I can now catch up to a bit of story now :D
OH! And the artwork, I really do enjoy Nakamura Shungiku's drawings quite a lot.

The only thing this manga has going for it is the story, what little of it that actually exists. The yaoi relationships are toxic as hell, which happens very often in yaoi and for why? Sexual assault on a minor, which results in unexpected romance? Hell no. What was wrong with you, younger me? Did you just want the smut back then? Lord…

This was another good volume, but I can't help but feel like Misaki is annoying! Out with it already! I need a confession! Minimum was the stand out in this volume. It was so cute and hilarious as always. On to the next.

In Romatica's 18th act Akihiko's father again tries to get Misaki to leave Akihiko, claiming that their relationship was doomed to fail anyway. Akihiko promptly lets his father know that he can't live without Misaki, leaving his father annoyed but willing to wait out their eventual separation.
In act 19 three years have past since Misaki started living with Akihiko and it doesn't seem like much has changed in their relationship other than, perhaps, Akihiko being a little more possessive of Misaki. All of this is flipped when Fuyuhiko's cousin, Mizuki, comes to visit them. It's evident that he and Akihiko get along and Misaki even notes that it's the first time that he's ever seen Akihiko smile at anyone besides him. He gets very jealous and, having never really experienced it to this degree in the past, allows it to build up until he explodes in the most hilarious way possible. His face when he realizes what he says to Akihiko is the funniest thing I've seen since starting this series.
In the Terrorist act 9 Shinobu worries that Miyagi is getting bored with both his cooking and him. It doesn't help that his sister expresses an interest in getting back with him.
These last couple volumes have been really good and it saddens me to no end that there is only one more volume before the English publications run out. In Japan the series continues up to, I believe, 24 volumes. It'd be nice if there were English versions available for purchase online (same goes for Super Lovers). Still, I'm happy with the 12 volumes that I did get and I'll keep hope alive that eventually we'll get more🤞.

El papá de Usagi por fin se da cuenta de por qué Akihiko está con Misaki y d e como este ha cambiado a su hijo.
Sumí-san se ha graduado y parece dejar solo a Misaki , él se preocupa un poco pero parece ser que ha encontrado un alma gemela en su gusto de mangas.
Aww el sobrino todo de Misaki es súper lindoooooo
Un nuevo familiar llega a la casa de Akihiko y parece ser que las cosas se van a complicar.
Ahhh Shinobu es taaaan especial, en serio la pareja terrorista es única

Minimum was VERY cute (I love reading about Misaki and his older brother). I was confused by the time skip- it seemed to come out of nowhere, and left some set ups dangling. I thought they were going to do something with Misaki being such a huge fan of that mangaka and him working at the publishing company.
Still don’t like Terrorist…. Kinda thought You should get back together with his ex wife lol. I don’t know why. L

Slogging through "Junjo Romantica" for the second time, one of many manga I read--but I'm not sure why, other I'm with manga like a movie geek is with movies. There are people who love watching movies, even the bad ones, and I love reading manga--even the series I don't much care for. I just can't get emotionally involved in this one.

Me ha gustado bastante este tomo porque pasa de todo, "solucionan" más o menos el problema que tienen con el padre de Usami, además de que aparece un primo que no les pone las cosas fáciles y me encanta ver las reacciones de Misaki y por último tenemos una historia de Shinobu y Miyagi, me encanta esta pareja y sus lios.

Το vol. 11, είναι το τεύχος στο οποίο εμπεριέχεται και το τελευταίο κεφάλαιο που είδαμε να μεταφέρεται στη μικρή οθόνη, κατά το 2ο μισό του 12ου επεισοδίου της 2ης season, αν και συνολικά αποτελείται από 4. Στο κεφάλαιο αυτό, λοιπόν, βλέπουμε και πάλι τον πατέρα του Akihiko, ο οποίος και προσπαθεί να προσεγγίσει για ακόμα φορά το γιο του, θέλοντας να τον πείσει πως η σχέση του με τον Misaki δεν είναι τίποτα περισσότερο από ένα μεγάλο λάθος. Με τα πολλά, και αφού έχει καταφέρει να εισβάλλει στο σπίτι του με αθέμιτα μέσα, καταλήγει να πει όσα έχει να πει, με τον Akihiko να γίνεται έξαλλος και να παίρνει τον Misaki με σκοπό να απομακρυνθούν από την πηγή του κακού, η οποία ωστόσο, δεν είναι διατεθειμένη να παρατήσει τα όπλα τό��ο εύκολα. Ένα παρ' ολίγον ατύχημα θα οδηγήσει τον Misaki σε ένα ακόμα ξέσπασμα απέναντι στον Akihiko, αλλά και τον πατέρα του, γεγονός το οποίο και θα κάνει τον τελευταίο να καταλάβει για π��ιον λόγο ο γιος του δείχνει τόσο πολύ ερωτευμένος με τον νεαρό, ενώ παράλληλα, θα αποδεχτεί τη σχέση τους, έστω και προσωρινά, καθώς η υποχώρησή του δεν σημαίνει πως παύει να πιστεύει πως στο μέλλον, εκ των πραγμάτων, οι δρόμοι τους θα χωριστούν. Αλλά έτσι είναι όλοι οι γονείς. Ακόμα κι αν τελικά καταλάβουν πως αισθανόμαστε, δεν παύουν να πιστεύουν πως εκείνοι έχουν δίκιο. Ξεκινώντας το επόμενο κεφάλαιο, μας μεταφέρει 3 χρόνια μετά και λίγο πριν ο Misaki ολοκληρώσει τις πανεπιστημιακές του σπουδές, με τον φίλο του να ολοκληρώνει τον κύκλο σπουδών του και εκείνον, να μένει μόνο του, αρχίζοντας για πρώτη φορά να ανησυχεί σοβαρά για το μέλλον του καθώς, αυτά για τα οποία πρέπει να αποφασίσει, είναι πολλά. Μπορεί να είναι ακόμα ζευγάρι με τον Akihiko και να εξακολουθούν να μένουν μαζί, ξέρει όμως πολύ καλά πως η μέρα που φοβάται πλησιάζει και πως θα πρέπει να αποφασίσει, πως θα χειριστεί τη ζωή και το μέλλον του. Παράλληλα, ένας ξάδερφος του Akihiko επιστρέφει από την Αμερική για διακοπές και αποφασίζει να εγκατασταθεί στο σπίτι τους, κάτι που δεν χαροποιεί ιδιαίτερα τον Misaki αφού ο νεαρός επισκέπτης, δεν μοιάζει να τον συμπαθεί καθόλου, ενώ την ίδια στιγμή, η συμπεριφορά του απέναντι στον Akihiko και το ενδιαφέρον του γι' αυτόν, ξυπνάνε μέσα του συναισθήματα ζήλιας. Ω, ναι... είναι καιρός να δοκιμάσει κι εκείνος αυτό το συναίσθημα. Το επόμενο κεφάλαιο, είναι μιας μικρής έκτασης ιστορίας, η οποία μας ταξιδεύει στο παρελθόν του Misaki, όταν εκείνος ήταν ακόμα παιδί, περνώντας κάποια Χριστούγεννα με τον αδερφό του, άλλη μια ματιά στην κοινή τους ζωή και στον λόγο που οι δυο τους, είναι τόσο στενά συνδεδεμένοι. Το τελευταίο κεφάλαιο, έχει να κάνει με τους Miyaki και Shinobu, με τον τελευταίο να ανησυχεί σχετικά με το αν ορισμένα από τα πράγματα της καθημερινότητάς τους, έχουν αρχίσει να κουράζουν τον Miyaki, νιώθοντας παράλληλα ζήλια όταν η αδερφή του εισβάλλει στο διαμέρισμα του πρώην συζύγου της και νυν συντρόφου της, εκδηλώνοντας και πάλι ενδιαφέρον για εκείνον. Φυσικά, λόγος ανησυχίας δεν υπάρχει γιατί, από την στιγμή που ο Miyaki παραδόθηκε στα συναισθήματά του, δεν υπάρχει επιστροφή για εκείνον, και το γεγονός ότι αποδέχεται ακόμα και την φρικτή μαγειρική του Shinobu για να τον ευχαριστήσει, είναι μια, χαζή και μικρή μεν, ωστόσο ουσιαστική απόδειξη.

This is funny and fluffy and sweet - it hasn't that much "nutritional value", but it's perfect to read in this gray stormy weather. I'm still surprised how much I've grown to like Misaki and Usagi, but their trials and tribulations are a lot of fun to read about. A cute romantic comedy. I love the "Minimum" stories, too, their absolutely adorable. Still not too keen about the "Terrorist" pairing. I want more "Egoist" <3

It's Valentine's Day and Misaki doesn't know what to get for Usagi. Usagi's father wants his son to be happy and he wants to make sure Misaki is serious, about his relationship with Usagi. Misaki will graduate in 1 year and need to move on. He's not ready to tell his brother about Usagi, but Usagi is ready to make a permanent commitment. These guys are cute and they make me smile.

I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as the others. The plot just seemed to be rehashed from the earlier issues, with almost identical conflict in each chapter. I would have thought at this point, since much time has passed, there would be vastly different complications rather than the same ones we were dealing with from the very first chapter.

Misaki is still figuring things out about his feelings.....but Akihiko is making it all worth it with his smiles! I love seeing either one of these two smile, they do it so rarely. Valentine's day was so precious, even though neither "celebrated" it. And then, of course, another Usami relative came to rattle their cage.

I got to this one point, and I just couldn't read this series anymore. It's not that bad but I'm not a fan of the main pairing (75% of the reason why I dropped it).
