I intended to (and still do intend to...eventually) gift this book to my boyfriend but I was unable to resist browsing through and before I knew it I was reading. So far (I'm at Part One) it's an interesting book and even though it's written for men, I can relate.

Bishop has done it again! This is a book that every man should read; he grows the struggle and vulnerability of the most successful men. Even more so he grows through the ways of becoming a successful man. This book has helped me become one of the most productive, faithful men in the ministry I work in . If you take this book with a notebook and take Bishop's Words and apply them to your life you'll move to another level, without you being a roadblock.

This book has a profound uplifiting and a precious significance regarding the human being called MAN, his feelings and emotions. In the book we get the perception of what society has stablished as a format to black man perform. Td Jakes exposes inner child in a man and his cryings and expectations to be loved, to be respected, to be autentic, to be heard and appreciated, reminding us all that we all have brothers, sons, cousins, relatives in that painful situation, without a chance to express himself verbally. Question is in what are we transforming our men into. Under the perspctive of God the Father and his Son, the autor invites us to intimate relationship with the Holy Trinity...Fathr Son and the Holy Spirit and find our identity as sons and daughters of th kingdom.

At some point in life every man is going to go through an identity crisis of what it really takes to be a man. Let's just be honest, it is hard being a man in thos world: there are work pressures, relational pressures and all pressures that can affect our self esteem as men. We process our emotions internally and would prefer to keep them in. Bishop Jakes gives a guide to men on how to process these motions in the race of life. He uses biblically truth while giving practical insight while maneuvering these thing call manhood. I encourage all of my young brothers to read this book!

Great book for men. I brought this book for my brothers, to date, I have no idea if they read it. I just know that men sometimes struggle to express themselves emotionally and this book essentially tells men that it is okay to do so.

Mr. Jakes personal account in of men's feelings and emotions was interesting, yet women usually already know about that about their men. Men need to know it is okay to express themselves, and I think he did a great job of conveying that to his readers.

I learned from this book that many emotions that men go through stem from very early on in life. I am on my second reading of this book. People may have their personal opions about Jakes....(I may have a few of my own) but the fact of the matter is this man is very intelligent. You will definitely receive knowledge from this book. It is written for both men and women....if you are in a relationship or single. This book is extremely powerful and insightful to the live and struggles of men. It is highly recommended readin.

TD Jakes helps men understand that it is okay to struggle but not okay to stay there. He shows us that struggles makes us stronger. It it the struggles that test the heart and soul of a man and brings us to another level. If you are struggling then get a hold of this book and read it. If you are not struggling, go find a struggle and read the book. The title speaks - He Motions.
