I've only read an excerpt. So I can't rate the book, but I didn't go further.
The 16 yo heroine has a crush on the hero- and he knows it- but she's a minor and he has to wait. In the meantime he has sex with everything that moves and sign a contract with his band. He becomes a rockstar and promises to come back for her.
Five years later she's getting married and he's out of her suite and he's very angry with himself because he knows he fucked up because he's waited too long and now he's lost her.
You know, he was too busy sowing his wild oats and too young to settle down with the "only woman he ever loved".
Jeeezuz.
How romantic.
Wait... There's more.
She's not marrying her fiance because she's pregnant... and she doesn't know who's the father. So the hero proposes and she accepts and they get married.
Really?
Since I'm a psychologist I think that no behavior is accidental.
The hero has waited until the heroine gets almost married to another not because he thought he had time, but because he actually didn't want to marry her. Unconsciously but not even quite. He knew she was getting serious with om and he knew she was getting married so his idiotic regret is un-fucking-believable. He could have acted as soon as he knew she wanted to marry another. At least. At - very-least. But he waited until she was coming out of her suite and he was going to let her marry another man. Because he thought he had time- time to keep f**king all the women he wanted. See how he cared.
Sorry, not for me.

It's sweet cute happenstance, second chance story with lots of romance and comedic situations thrown in. Heather is comfortable in this trope /genre and it shows.
Childhood crushes are separated for years before Lyle Livingston finds himself attending the wedding of Sammi, sister of his best friend Dane. He's devastated and in a dilemma.
It's hurting him and he wants to go throw his feelings at her feet but his loyalty and obligation stops him

"Swap the white knight for a rock star. And the dragon with my own poor decisions. I’m living some version of the world’s most fucked-up fairytale."

Things don't go as they're planned and he finds himself swapping places with the groom!!
Talk about happy twist..
OR is it??🤔
It's funny, witty, lovely story I enjoyed a lot

One Night Standards tell the journey of Lyle and Sammi, neighbours from their youth till he leave to become a member of a country band. They loved each other for a long time but their age gap made it impossible to begin a relationship. Before walking away they made the promise to come together when that wasn't a problem anymore, but as the years go by could it be too late to be reunited?

"I guess sometimes things really do have to fall apart so they can come together."

I loved this book, true that there isn't any major drama but it's a very very sweet and nice story.

Heather M. Orgeron wrote two characters that grabbed my attention from the first chapter, she'd the skills and the talent to make me feel their love on every page, and the smexy scenes show their chemistry, attraction and complicity.

I highly recommend this novel, don't miss it.

One Night Standards is an exemplary addition to the Booze and Bad Decisions novels. If you’re looking for something that you can get lost in that will make you laugh out loud, swoon, and steam that will melt your kindle, diving into One Night Standards is the best decision, no booze required.

Orgeron has a way with words that makes her stand out amongst others. You’d be hard-pressed to find another that can compare to the way her flawless dialogue and witty banter can make you smile when you feel like crying. It’s my favorite feeling knowing when I open a book that not only will I be swept away in a fictional world, leaving all of my real-life troubles behind, but that when I reach the end, my soul will feel lighter than it did when I began.

I adored Sammi’s relationship with her father; as someone who would have done the same thing had I been in that situation, I felt a connection to her I hadn’t expected. I do wish mine had the same outcome. She was sassy and a bit (a lot) stubborn. She made a decision out of fear, and I think we’ve all felt that level of heartache at one time or another, making it easy to put yourself in her shoes. If you haven’t, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

Lyle Livingston has the charm of the boy next door, the arrogant swagger of a pants-melting country star, a level of swoon that causes butterflies "everywhere," a piercing that will melt kindles, but it’s his unyielding love and loyalty to the only woman he’s ever loved that will make ovaries explode. This man came so close to seeing the other half of his soul walk down the aisle towards another man, and when fate handed him a second chance, he grabbed it with everything he had. I was done for, and that was nothing compared to what was to come. When you thought there was no way to love this swoony man more, it was as though he whispered to his bandmates, "Hold my beer."

I’m not sure there’s an adequate word for the chemistry between Sammi and Lyle. It was more than scorching and far beyond impassioned. We get a glimpse into where they began; the love between them was palpable, as was the heartache when they walked away. I truly believe this was how it was meant to happen. He was meant to be theirs.

My eyes were a bit misty more than once, but more often due to the love that radiates through every single page of Lyla and Sammi’s story. Is there a name for swooning so hard that you end up with misty eyes and a "shimmering essence"? Sworny? Hwoony? Whatever, it’s a thing. If you don’t believe me, it’s only because you haven’t met Lyle Livingston yet.

Whether it’s an angsty ugly cry or laugh out loud romantic comedy, a rock star or a contractor, Orgeron has a way of making each and every character she creates feel as though you are a part of the story, not merely reading it. She plucks you straight from real life, immersing you in a fictional world that offers a reprieve and an invigorating recharge that makes it possible to face the real-world troubles you needed to escape from.

One Night Standards was exactly what my heart needed. An all-consuming combination of explosive chemistry, a swoony alpha hero, a sassy heroine, witty AF banter, sprinkles of feels, laugh-out-loud scenarios, and uber-spicy steam. Above all is the love pouring from every page, whether it’s between friends, siblings, parents, or each couple; the love they share will stay with you long after you reach the end.

OK so, it was really really cute and it has great spice, but it was so bland!

Where are the chapters of them falling in love as teen?
Where are the chapters about their heart being broken when MMC had to go?
Where are the chapters about their life apart?
Where is the groveling?!

It feels like we start the book in the middle of their story and so there's really no drama at all. So it's great if you just want a fluffy and cutsy story, but it really is frustrating when you want to understand where they are coming from, and what they had to overcome to finally be together.
It really feels like you're at the end of their journey and so it wasn't as enjoyable for me.

I enjoyed Lyle and Sammi's story. It's all-around sweet and fun with a little bit of heat. And there's no drama at all. At least not one that ruins their relationship. Right from the start, they got together and it's all happy from there. They have to adjust to their new life together though. But still, it's all sweet and happy. I absolutely loved how sweet Lyle is to and for Sammi and their baby. You would never guess they've been apart for 5 years.

Oh I was scared. So scared. I'll state that if this weren't an arc I would have dumped the book early. I had it in my head where it was going to go and I was not having it. But since it WAS an arc I wanted to give it my full go.

I'm so FUDGING happy I did. Boy oh boy would I have missed out on an AMAZING story. It did NOT go in the direction I thought it would. Not at ALL. I couldn't have predicted where it was going but I knew I should have trusted Heather. But really .....

It was so good to see the whole gang. While I am happy where the story went, I'm a little disappointed in how Lyle acted in the beginning. I know it's not cheating, but I've always hated when WE (the reader) know the person is in love and they still sleep around. It just hurts my heart. Even when it's before the togetherness. It still HURTS my heart.

Heather needs to write a small little novella about the Disney On Ice outing. PLEASSSSSE.

I really wasn't prepared to Love Lyle.

This is my first romance by this author and, I’ll be honest. I’m hooked! She has such a way with words, humor, smexy, and heart that I’ll be working my way through her back catalog post haste!

I mean, what's not to love about two childhood sweethearts being reunited? And when one is a famous, swoony rock star and he jumps in to save the day for the bride, his BFF, when the groom bolts? And I mean, saves the day by marrying the girl! Squee!!

It's true, Lyle Livingston loved and left Sammi Deluca, but he felt he didn’t have a choice. She was still too young for a serious relationship when his music career took off. And eventually Sammi figured she'd waited long enough. Lyle never came back, so she moved on.

But this is only the beginning. Sammi still has her own commitments and Lyle is still traveling when the band requires it. Then there's the whole thing of her trying to integrate into his world. Although it may be a touch predictable, their road to a happy forever is anything but smooth.

I adored this romance and these characters so much! Their story is humorous, endearing, and entertaining. Nothing felt contrived or manufactured, so I easily stayed in the moment and devoured the story quickly, impatient to get to the end. And the ending? Well, just be sure you don’t skip the epic, hilarious epilogue. All in all, a fabulous read that offers a terrific reading escape guarantee to make your romantic heart blissfully happy, so don’t miss it!

One Night Standards is an amazing story about two people who were always meant to be finally making it happen! Lyle and Sammi will warm your heart and melt your kindle!

Lyle is the definition of swoony and sexy. I love how he is with kids! It's seriously the sweetest. Sammi is a sweetheart and just so kind. These two have been in love since they were teens. How they end up together is unconventional, but couldn't be more perfect. Each one thought the other had given up on their promise to be together, which is so far from the truth. Lyle loves big and unconditionally. It made my heart so happy when he wholeheartedly takes the roll of father to Sammi's unborn baby. Having been adopted himself, Lyle tells her that biology means nothing and that the baby is his. Cue the happy tears! This amazing couple gets to know one another again and fall even more in love. Such a feel good read! It's also so great to see the rest of the band members and families!

Their love story is so heartwarming and unbelievably sexy. I loved this low angst, happy romance! It's definitely my favorite in the series so far!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

I didn’t know where this was going, but okay, I kept on reading. Felt like when I started I missed something, but it all worked out in the end 😊

Sammi has been in love with Lyle since she was a teenager. And the day he left he told her to not give up on them. He was coming back for her. But then she was met someone else and was about to get married, when things completely changed…

Lyle has wanted Sammi for so long and he always thought he had time and he was going to make her his. Until the day she was going to marry someone else. And he realized that his time was up and he was about to lose the love of his life, and then fate stepped in…

Like I said when I started I was like what is happening. But slowly it all started making sense. Two people who were in love with each other, but because of her brother being his best friend, they never got together. Now they had a chance to live out their happily ever after. Lots of sweet moments, ups and downs and surprises… But Will love be enough…

I loved this story by Heather Orgeron. It is the perfect amount of heart and heat. We get to spend time with our favorite band again, and these characters are so much fun.

Lyle and Sammi are meant to be, and due to some unforeseen events they finally get their chance. This is a feel good story, with a little drama but mostly we just get to spend time with these two as they grow in their relationship.

This is the third book with these characters, they are all standalones, but I just love the extra connections I get when I know all the side characters and how they all fit together.

One Night Standards is the third book in the sexy and fun Booze & Bad Decisions series by Heather Orgeron. It holds well on it's own but this series is so great I highly recommend reading them all!

Oh Lyle Livingston. I've always enjoyed his character kind of lingering in the background in the first two books of the series but I was not prepared for this swoony man when I started this book. From the prologue it seemed like there was going to be a bit more of an off limits/forbidden relationship vibe to the story- but that kind of fizzled out from the start, probably since at that time Sammi and Lyle were 16 and 19, a small age gap that doesn't hold the same weight or stigma once they were both technically adults.

This book was so fun to read- despite the years apart these two have such a fun banter and just an all around comfortable relationship. I absolutely adored how sweet Lyle was throughout this story- his sweet nicknames, how he absolutely cherished Sammi- it's a wonder that it took her almost marrying another man to kick him into motion to go after the woman that is clearly his soulmate. Beyond the fun and sweetness these two are also intense with their chemistry and it's got all the heat that I love in Heather's country rock bad boys 😉

One Night Standards is fairly low on the drama and angst- for the most part it felt like the story was kind of smooth sailing after the high drama in the first couple chapters with just little blips of drama but none that really affected the reconnection of Sammi and Lyle's relationship. It was unexpected but in a good way- I always feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop in some romances but the way that Heather brought this story together without causing unnecessary heartbreak and drama was a nice change.

I really enjoyed the way that this whole story played out and I can't wait for more from The Rhett Taylor Band!

“Time can’t erase feelings this deep, babe. We’re written in the stars.”

Lyle and Sammi's story was so darn cute.
It was also funny, a little sad, quite sexy and had a lot of swoon—in the form of Lyle. That man was endlessly caring, considerate and kind. And damn...add in a small person? I'm sure he will be solely responsible for ovary explosions everywhere.

While the start of the book may leave some teary-eyed, by the end of the book you will have smiled, possibly choked on your drink, wanted to punch someone in their junk, and fallen in love with this bunch of misfits all over again.

A stellar read that I did not want to put down.

This was a fun and poignant second chance romance. I liked the premise of the storyline, the backstory and the way they reconnected. Lyle is back to attend the wedding of his best friends sister Sammi when events give him the opportunity to make his move. I loved that Lyle was so sure about the relationship and his love and commitment to Sammi. We see them learn about each other and see their love blossom. There is lots of fun along the way that made this an enjoyable read.

HOT SEXY TIMES! This story will bring the most beautiful of second chances between the sexy guitar player and the girl next door he never forgot. The author continues to deliver an emotional story with an abundance of laughter and poignant moments.

Lyle thinks he is about to lose the girl that stole his heart, until the perfect opportunity presents and this time he is not walking away.

Sammi was ready to throw away her dream of finally landing the boy next door, to fulfill her father's dream. But fate took hold and everything she thought would be was turned upside down in the VERY BEST WAY!

This one is SMOKIN' HOT! It's full of sweet moments and off-the-charts chemistry. I am a huge fan of childhood sweethearts finally finding their way back to one another. This hit the mark!

I love that we get to reconnect with our favorite characters and fall in love with new ones as the series progresses. I adore this crew and all their shenanigans!

This story will make you laugh and smile, with a a surprise or two to keep you on your toes. I love this entire series and I cannot wait for more.

Ok, I'm not sure this is a book. There is no real character arc or plot. It should be a novella at most. I honestly kept waiting for something else to happen, and it finally does literally in the last chapter.

In this 3rd book about the Rhett Taylor band the bassist Lyle finally goes back for the girl he left behind, on her wedding day to someone else. But things are revealed and the groom bails. He steps in to save the day. That is pretty much it until the end of the book. There is one chapter of backstory, then they get back together and married in chapter 2. No in between, no build up, no struggle, no angst, nothing. The rest is fluff. Honestly, they could be a subplot in someone else's story. WTF?

Two stars cause I liked the characters. It was cute and sweet with some decent spice.

One Night Standards by Heather Orgeron is a rockstar standalone, yet an interconnecting book from the Booze and Bad Decision series about the fictitious Rhett Taylor band. This is a love story about second chances, almost losing out on true love, and moving ahead despite others’ opinions. Lyle and Sammi are best friends who both are harboring unrequited love. When Lyle is 19, he signed with the Rhett Taylor County band. Lyle tells 15-year-old Sammi that he loves her and kisses her with a promise that he would come back and get her. Since then, Lyle’s life on tour has been made up of “one-night standards” only. Sammie moved on the best she could and even found herself engaged to marry a man she has a history with even if the relationship is broken. He had even been carrying around an antique engagement ring he intended to give to Sammi in his coat pocket at her wedding if time hadn’t already run out. Lyle said, “But time is a ------- thief, and I’m about to be left holding an empty hourglass, forced to stand by and watch the last few granules – and the only girl I’ve loved – slip through my fingertips.” (location118). Fate has Sammi and Lyle’s hearts in hand since Lyle ended up being the groom instead of her intended fiancé. The real fun begins from the moment they say “I do” until the end of the book.
Sammi suffers from self-doubt, unsure if she can keep Lyle’s sole attention despite his past lifestyle of one-night standards only. There are surprises, twists and turns, and love that flames hotter each day between Lyle and Sammi. Lyle is a true “cinnamon roll” hero that has replaced all book boyfriends to date. This story is a delight to read, and I devoured each page to find out how Lyle and Sammi found their HEA. Heather Orgeron continues to produce only the most outstanding reads no matter what the story is about. I am partial to her rockstar romances but have read her other rom-coms and loved reading each book she has written.

LOL Funny & Steamy (RomComGold)

Who knew the man-hoochie known as Lyle Livingston was so stinkin’ sweet! He is hands down, the swooniest of the Rhett Taylor band. He turned out to be the CRH of the group. Holy cow did he blow my mind with his love for Sammie.

Thank you HMO for giving us a Lyle! After all the struggles and emotions with Nick and Raven… Lyle and Sammi were a breath of fresh air I didn’t know I needed. I read this in one sitting, because it was just too good to put down.

Sammi and Lyle were soulmates and it was 100% obvious from the start that nothing could come between the love they had for each other. The way Lyle came to her side, with no judgment and nothing but pure love was a real treasure.

At first I was like, no angst? What’s going on here? You DO NOT need it to love this couple because they bring all the laughs, love and HEAT. These two have a lot of time to make up for, and boy do they DO IT! Lyle and Sammi will heat up your kindle and make you blush.

This was when I was completely sold on this couple.

“No one will believe it—that a man***** like you settled down with a nobody like me.”
I pretend to be offended. “Well, that’s rich coming from a pregnant chick that doesn’t even know the father.”
She gasps, but the fire I’ve always loved so much sparks in her eyes. My girl may be down, but she’s not out. For a split second, I worry I’ve gone too far, but then she spits out a laugh. “Touché.”

I stan this couple so hard! They both are strong willed, feisty, honest, funny and the good kind of dirty **Wiggles Eyebrows**

Grab a copy and have fun reading this one. It’s part of an interconnected series, but can be read as a stand alone. I do suggest getting to know the sexy men of the Rhett Taylor Band beforehand with Pour Judgement (Rhett and Korie) and Alcohol You Later (Nick and Raven).

One Night Standards is a multi-trope second chance/best friend’s sister/sort of surprise baby mashup that is an addition to the Booze and Bad Decisions novels. It opens with Lyle facing the possibility of losing the love of his life to another man, because he waited too long to come back for her. When circumstances change, he takes matters into his own hands, and lets her know that his feelings have not changed, no matter what her situation is. Can they build a life together despite his high-profile celebrity status, and the pressure it puts on the them and the family they want to build?

This book brings a perfect blend of romance, witty banter, laugh out loud comedy, real emotion, and so much scorching heat that the chemistry between Sammi and Lyle nearly melted my iPad!! Also, the storyline with Sammi’s dad, really hit home for me, and made her so relatable. All those scenes were so well written. Cancer took my dad almost 2 years ago, and I never got married, so I lived vicariously through Sammi for a few minutes. Lyle was the ultimate male lead who would bend over backwards to show his love and devotion to Sammi, and was totally present with his friends, thieir kids, and his fans. Lyle and Sammi together represent the ideal relationship—friendship, love, laughter, and so much passion! I hope we see more of the them in the future! I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next!

I received an advanced review copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I absolutely loved this fated romance. One that has been on the cards since childhood and finally even if Lyle almost waited too long to go get his girl Sammi. Luckily it all came together. Some of the things that Lyle says are so sweet and beautiful. You can't help but fall in love with him. And fall in love with this story I did.

There are a lot of situations and circumstances that are at play in this story. Ones that cause tears both happy and sad for a time. But this fun, sexy, and hot-as-hell story was a brilliant read. With old characters making appearances, which made my heart happy. I was like a swing with my emotions going back and forth, which is exactly how I like my books to make me feel.

This book is a huge, fun read that I couldn't recommend more.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the story of Lyle and Sammi. They grew up together as neighbors and he was her brother's best friend. (We do not know the best friend as he is not a part of the band.) They have always loved each other but time was not their friend as Sammi is 3 years younger than Lyle and he felt the best friend and age thing made it a very forbidden relationship. Lyle pretty much knows Sammi is his, but he is waiting for her to grow up.

But time goes by a bit too fast for Lyle and he is living the rock n roll life. Sammi is not waiting for him and ends up engaged to Trent. The story begins on what is supposed to be Sammi's wedding day to Trent and I am not spoiling all the fun related to that day.

This story has A LOT of sex. I personally thought there was a bit much for my taste. But these two know each other and love each other so it's not like they have to get to know each other. They are close friends and have never dated so I liked that the author explores this new aspect to their relationship as lovers.

There is no cheating in this book, and I felt that there was not much of an ex-drama, and I really liked that about this story. Sammi and Lyle are adorable to each other, and I loved how honest Sammi was and how she gets to know the band.

There is a surprise baby in this story, and I am not spoiling anything about the baby. But I loved this different twist in this story.

I cute second chance romance in Heathers Booze & Bad Decisions world.

Another one bites the dust. Another member of The Rhett Taylor Band falls in love and gets hitched. This time it’s a second chance romance to childhood sweetheart. These two love each other the entire way through this book, there love is unwavering.

This one is funny, and sexy, and sweet. You get to see these two build a life around their love and all the crazy going on in their lives. The couple is perfect for each other. If you are looking for a book with very little drama, this is it. There isn’t a lot of conflict it’s just a happy love story through and through.

I did find myself asking questions throughout the story about the two main characters. I wish there was a little more backstory to the two MC’s, Lyle and Sammie. I had questions about Sammie and her life. But this book does a good job at keeping you interested in the other characters in the story and wanting to get their stories as well. I can’t wait to get everyone’s HEA stories. It’s very entertaining and captivating. The characters are easy to love and relatable.

Overall this is a fun and easy going romcom. Definitely recommend this one to someone looking for a spicy comedy with low angst. Heather always knows how to deliver the laughs.

Sammi Deluca has been in love with her older brother’s best friend since she was 16 years old.  The problem is, Lyle Livingston is 19. A relationship between them just isn't possible.

The band he's a part of has been signed by a label, which means he has to leave her.  He makes her promise not to wait for him, to go out and find someone her own age.  His only condition is that she not give away what is rightfully his to own; her heart.

Then the unthinkable happens,  her father is diagnosed with a fatal disease and the one thing she's always dreamed of is to have him walk her down the aisle. The only thing that is not a part of her dream wedding is the man who she should be walking towards isn't Lyle.

The papers tout Lyle as the 'one night standard'. He doesn't keep the ladies around for more than one night.  He's just biding his time until his one true love is done living wild.  When news reaches him of her nuptials, he was heartbroken, but ready to step aside.  Then luck smiles down, and he is given a chance to be where he should be.  Now, Sammi just has to accept his shotgun proposal.

This romcom is full of sappy and swoony moments.   Sammi has to get used to the fast lane of being married to someone famous.  Lyle has some pretty outrageous surprises that literally had me swooning and laughing hysterically.  I loved every bit of this shotgun wedding/marriage.

All the swoony stars go to Lyle. “One Night Standards” is a steamy, sweet and fun rockstar romance that I immediately adored from the very first chapter and loved every moment.

On the day of her wedding, Sammi is unsure of the groom who’s supposed to be at the end of the aisle. But when her childhood crush comes back into her life and wants her to marry him instead, she can’t say no. Because the childhood crush is none other than bassist rockstar, Lyle Livingston. It might be a shotgun wedding but these two have a chemistry and a couple secrets between each other.

I loved Lyle in the first two books of the series and I knew he would be the perfect husband when he finally got his story. Lyle is genuine, kind and wants to give the world to Sammi. I love his carefree attitude and how he goes with the flow. The things he does for Sammi had me swooning into a pile of goo. Sammi was an instant favorite for me because I loved how close she was with her family, especially her Dad. She’s also caring, funny and the perfect match for Lyle. Their chemistry was off the charts steamy and I loved their banter. They had a long history and it shows in their relationship. The ending was so sweet and perfect for Lyle and Sammi.

4.25 - 4.5 Stars! 💗

Having read Ms.Orgeron's work many times before over the years it always brings a smile to my face whenever i get to pick up another one of her books! From the moment this one was announced i've been so excited for it! I picked it up and was so into it right away. I really enjoyed this story so much!

Lyle and Sammi's journey pulled me in and didn't let go! When someone captures your heart, it's not something you forget which Lyle and Sammi sure know. A moment can change everything, will Lyle and Sammi's love win?

Okay, Lyle and Sammi had me falling right from the start and all throughout! From the connection to their off the charts chemistry, these two had me feeling every bit of their story. I adored them together! I so enjoyed the realness that came from these two. Lyle and Sammi's story was a day brightener for me!

Things happen for a reason and Lyle and Sammi's story showed that saying in spades. Having read Pour Judgement and Alcohol You Later it was so fun reuniting with characters!

With One Night Standards, Ms.Orgeron has created such a great read that brought the feels and steam! I can't wait to read what she comes up with next! 💗

There are times when even an angst addict like me just wants something that isn't laden with complexities and tear-inducing scenes, and this week has been one of those times. Reading Sammi and Lyle story brought me such joy. It was relatively drama-free, and the one bit of conflict was easily resolved. Yes, they loved each other even when they weren't together, but they also lived their lives, and I'm glad that they didn't hold anything that may have happened with other people in the past against one another. These two are just in their early twenties, and they handled a lot of what was thrown their way with a sense of maturity I found refreshing. To be fair, though, they also relished their life together, and they truly lived up to the adage of living, loving, and laughing. It was fun catching up with Rhett and Korie and Nick and Raven, and I'm really curious if Aiden is going to be paired with the most (un)likely suspect... But I digress! Back to Sammi and Lyle because One Night Standards is their book after all, and I SO enjoyed the heck out of it. Five stars!

Truly adored everything about One Night Standards. It’s light, fun, heartwarming, steamy & all about love! I was a little nervous that Heather was going to break my heart but miracles & love prevail💕

It may have taken him a little while to get there but ladies….Lyle is one very sexy cinnamon roll. He is built on love & loyalty and shared that in every part of his life.

Sammi Sammi Sammi thought all was lost but in swooped her white night & she is living her very own fairy tale 💕

💕fave quotes📖

In the blink of an eye, this day has gone from merely fulfilling an obligation to a dream come true. Guess the right groom makes all the difference. Who knew?—-💕💕💕

“Welcome to the family, Cristal Cooch.”—-Y’ALL!!! That ain’t right🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭

“There he is,” I say, pointing toward the bloody mess in the mirror and trying not to pass out. It looks like a scene from a horror movie down there, with the doctor unwrapping the cord from around his neck and suctioning all kinds of goop out of his mouth.
“He’s so beautiful.” Big fat tears spill from my Li’l Bit’s eyes. This must be what they’re referencing with that phrase “a face only a mother could love.” Because my wife is smitten. “That’s exactly what I was just thinking,” I lie, praying the situation gets better once he’s cleaned up.—-😂😂😂I can absolutely picture his face 🫣
