Pearl has the worst friends ever. Like sos 🆘 get these sassy 💁🏽♀️ chicks out of here !! Pearl is dared to basically prostitute herself and then her friends essentially tells her she mind as well do it because her father doesn’t have money anyway.
What type of friends constantly remind you that you’re destitute and calls you a hoochie mama when you do what she dared you to do?? Like what world is this ??
Buuuttt I gave this book 5 ⭐️ because the Daddy is this book is holy 👨🍳 chef’s kiss 💋!! He was big, buff, had a growly demanding way about him, his name was Jude, he had a monster 👹 Clock 🕰️ and last but not least he wore a freaking cowboy 🤠 hat !! Who cares if it was just to be ironic it was sexy as all outdoors and I loved that for me and I guess Pearl too since I allowed her to borrow my man 👨🏼!!
But let me stop with my shenanigans people if you want to just give this a twirl listen to it on Read Me Romance (Under the original name “Yes, Daddy”) but if you are like me and needed to see their love expand after that first encounter then download this after you change your panty drawers and see how this one rocks your world 🌎!!

This novella was shit if I am being honest. There was no plot, the FMC was naive and dumb and the MMC had too high opinion of himself. Nothing about this novella was intriguing and the spice was non-existent.
Pleade stay away from this for your sake. No need for you to make the same mistake I did.

The only reason I finished this was because it was so short. I figured from just reading the first couple of pages I wouldn’t enjoy it, and I wasn’t wrong about that.
The pacing was like going 0-1000 in .2 seconds. Pearl (the MFC) gets dared to go on a cam site, and she immediately gets addicted to the fast money. That same night she goes home and gets on again and this is where Jude (the MMC) comes in. Jude asks her for a private room and they “talk” for a few minutes and as soon as he finishes he ends their chat. But, he’s already obsessed with her, so he requests another private room with her a couple days later. After that brief video call, as in the very next day, Jude shows up at her house. Why? Because he ran into her dads car a few days prior and was wanting to pay for the damages. He didn’t know Pearl was that guys daughter at the time. Anyways, he sees Pearl and after he drives off and watches her dad drive off, he goes back to the house and sneaks inside since the door was left unlocked. Like, huh?? The only contact these two had prior to this was during those two cam room chats that lasted a few minutes max, where they just had cam sex and learned each other’s names. That’s ALL they knew about each other before he took it upon himself to go back to her place and make her blow him. It was consensual, I will say that, but this girl has the survival skills of a newborn. She wasn’t even worried that this grown ass man she doesn’t really even know is coming into her house like that. Then, he ends up coming to her house in the middle of the night to fuck her for the first time . .while her dad is asleep in the next room. And afterwards is talking about how they have to tell her dad about them because they are in love and are going to get married and spend the rest of their lives together. This is in all less than two weeks. Like. . .I kid you not, there is no relationship building, getting to know each other, absolutely nothing that would make you think this is more than just a random hook up. But yeah, they are in love and belong together according to them lmao.
I love age-gaps and daddy kink usually, but this just wasn’t it. At all.
Other than that, the grammar/spelling mistakes in this book was off the charts high. I don’t think it went through an editing stage at all. Wouldn’t recommend the book at all tbh. 0.5 stars.

A dare that led to love.
This story was difficult for me to rate and review, so I gave it a couple of days and then read it again. I liked this story a lot until I got to the epilogue. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Pearl’s friends cracked me up with just how accurate their relationship was. Although their game of truth or dare was quite a bit different than I had ever heard of it being played. Pearl had her inhibitions placed on hold temporarily and because of that she “met” Jude. Jude wasn’t looking for anything long term when he found Pearl. Something about their interaction stayed with both of them and led to them attempting to find each other again. There was some drama and angst but it resolved well. I’m not sure about their happily ever after because of the epilogue. Prior to the epilogue I would have expected them to have a great happily ever after. I recommend reading this book for yourself so that you can decide for yourself if you agree with me or not.

Pearl and her father are struggling financially. On her birthday she spends some time with her friends. One friend dares her to get on her cam and chat with someone. This leads Pearl to starting her own channel for money for college. She meets Jude on her cam, and they have an instant connection. Jude is trying to pay for damage done to a stranger's car when he realizes his cam baby girl lives in the same town as him. It doesn't take him long to make his move in real life. Pearl is stunned when she runs into Jude and is stunned when he walks into her bedroom. Soon things heat up between them and Jude wants to claim her for keeps. What will her dad do when he finds out who she has been seeing? Can they get their happy ending?
This is a steamy story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Nice Start
The premise was fun and it was an enjoyable read, but it really felt more like the skeleton or start of a full story. The character and romance development were rushed and, at times, it felt like the writing and editing were too. I struggled with feeling like the female MC was bullied by just about everyone (especially her “best” friend), but the steam was good and the potential for everything was definitely there. I just wish the book took more time on everything and really built it up for me. I still had a good time reading it, I just wish it felt more complete.

Jude is the new chef of the construction site or company. And pearl living with her father she just graduated from high school and the family is struggling financially on her birthday her friends kind of convince her to try being a cam girl to make money.
Stonebridge daddies the series is a good one, but this one is probably one of my least favorite. She called this man daddy in almost every sentence, and also in front of her father it made me feel some type away, but nevertheless it was nice-ish read.

In a last attempt to make money, Pearl does something she never dreamed off.
What was suppose to one time interaction soon turned into an incurable infatuation.
Short, fast-paced,steamy story.
Included everything I love to read, a perfect quick read inbetween series or to get out of a predictable rutt.
For a short book, main characters had enough personality to pull you into the story.
If Daddy Kink isn't your thing, then don't read you won't like it.

I liked this one. I wasn't so sure about Jude initially but really started liking him the more he was around Pearl. She was funny, her friends were not my favorite. I think they were a bit harsh and annoying. I think after two days Jude was fully on board with only Pearl's dad standing in the way. Overall, it was a good quick read.

One Sided ~ I liked this story. I had read the preview that also started off this book and continued. The accidental meeting was interesting, but him coming back, was bold. Their physical encounters should have had mutual pleasure for both parties involved, and not so one sided, his side. It didn’t match the rest of the story.

This short story (about 90 pages) felt incredibly rushed. Like the author didn’t proof anything. At the beginning of the story, the FMC is 18 and at the end she’s 20 even though only a few days have passed.
Lots of grammatical errors.
I love a good taboo story but this could have been better if it wasn’t so rushed. Maybe made into at least a 150 page story

This was a very hot yet short book. Pearl and Jude were hot together. All it took was a push from Pearl's friend and Jude knew that he found his forever woman. These two were funny yet intense and steamy and great together. There is a little bit of drama nothing that will stand in Jude's way of his birthday girl.

This little read was absolutely perfect for me at the time I read it, and I now have the others on my TBR for when I need something fun between the heavy!
