DNF - bad tropes bad copy edit
saw on TikTok and read the first page, got me intrigued, but after 25% I just couldn’t take anymore.

This is actually my first read of the Flawless universe/series! I meant to start at the beginning, but apparently have fallen so behind with a bunch of books on my TBR that I started here when this ARC caught my attention. (For anyone who's wondering, you can definitely start here with no issues, since that's what I did, and I had no problem following along. Avery and Sebastian's story starting here with Priceless Kiss is pretty separate.) The below should be mostly spoiler-free.
I was immediately hooked by the high stakes, insane (in the sense that I cannot imagine being rich or reckless enough to participate in something like this, as a plebeian) poker game we're introduced to, especially since we find out from the get-go that Avery (and Nero, who's just there to help her) is there for her own revenge. I love a good revenge setup, with all the animosity (at least on Avery's end) and confusion and internal conflict on the journey from enemies to lovers.
I liked Avery, but I will say that Avery definitely shows her youth. She's only twenty-one, so she's very young, and while she says she's had to grow up quickly given the mafia world she's known her whole life, she's naive in a lot of ways. There were things that bothered me from the beginning, like the reason for Miles's death, given that he attended one of these crazy poker games and gambled away a ton of money, that didn't seem to register with Avery; she seems blinded by her own love for Miles in her vow to avenge his death instead of considering the fact that Miles gambled away that money himself. She also has kind of a half-baked plan for how she wants to dig up dirt on Sebastian; she's not stupid, but she's kind of winging it as she goes along, which doesn't seem that smart, especially given Sebastian's reputation and power. (Seriously, I was wondering why Nero would help Avery get into this mess, although I respect that he gives her room to make her own mistakes... even if it's kind of a huge danger to her own life, lol.) She's also a pretty good actress when it counts, I suppose, considering Sebastian really bought into her act. I respected how committed Avery was to her goal, despite her naivety and careless mistakes that lead to that huge cliffhanger at the end of this one (prepare yourself).
I was intrigued by Sebastian and the secrets he mentions in his POV chapters and was glad for the insight into his thought process. It was interesting to see the hints of his self-hatred, his references to finding himself irredeemable, and also to see how he went from wondering if he should be more suspicious of Avery to just succumbing to his desire for her. The little glimpses into Sebastian imagining simple, domestic moments with Avery, taking comfort in her company, softened me to him some, considering how I couldn't relate to his brutal approach to business at all.
The sexual tension and chemistry between Avery and Sebastian is also clear right away. Their attraction and lust is mutual, though Avery tries to deny it because she feels guilty about wanting Sebastian, given her motives for getting close and desire for revenge. Avery's lessons from Sebastian are erotic and sexy, and despite Avery trying to remind herself of her purpose, it's easy to see how the intimacy of such acts brings her closer to Sebastian whether she likes it or not. While I liked the smut, seeing Sebastian be so gentle and take such care of Avery afterwards was honestly even hotter. I love it when the morally questionable guy goes soft and tender for the one they fall in love with, and it's going to be great seeing that happen more with these two in the next two books.
The only thing keeping this from being five stars would be that it felt a little too easy for Avery in the sense that Sebastian should have been more wary, given that he's gotten this far in his business by not trusting everyone, no matter how innocent they seem. It just seemed a little less believable that he'd buy her act that quickly (especially given the improvisational nature of Avery's planning lol).

What did I just read?!
KNOCKING OFF ANOTHER STAR BECAUSE I CAN'T POSSIBLY GIVE THIS THE SAME RATING AS ANY BOOK WITH SAINT IN IT! I DEFINITELY PREFER HIM AS MMC. EVERYTHING ELSE IS STILL APPLICABLE AND IT IS CLOSE BUT NO, I CAN'T. I GAVE THE OXFORD SERIES 4/3/4 STARS, CANNOT GIVE THIS ONE 4 STARS COMPARED TO THOSE.
I'm giving it four stars just because I'm hooked and just because of the sheer volume of spice and dirty talk...
But that one big star off is because I'm expected to believe this series is going to end in happily ever after?!
And you know what, again with the four stars because that's exactly how I'm supposed to feel and I'm not dumb enough not to recognize that.
But still, a full star off with a disapproving scowl because there were some borderline SA scenes that really make me question if I'll ever be on board with Sebastian. I can do ruthless, aloof billionaire, but potentially depraved, abusive billionaire??
I'm going into book 2 with narrowed eyes and pursed lips and hands on hips and I've got my eye on you, boy!! But you see me going straight into book 2, right?

Roxy Sloane has done it again in Priceless Kiss (Flawless Book 7)--kept me up all night reading, and what a read it is! If you're not already addicted to this series--start now, and at the beginning, because the relationships in this novel will be made more clear to you that way. For this reader, it gets 5 stars.
Avery has lost the love of her life, Miles, who committed suicide after racking up debts he could never pay, and they were owed to the most ruthless, heartless man imaginable, multi-billionaire, Sebastian Wolfe. Avery wants to avenge Miles' senseless death, and she reaches out to her friend, the well-connected mafioso, Nero Barrretti, who helps her put her plan into motion, although he certainly has reservations about it.
They say that revenge is a dish best served cold, but there's no shortage of heat in this novel, it's hot, hot, hot, after Nero deliberately loses a 10 million dollar bet at one of Sebastian's uber-rich poker games, and uses the all cleaned up, decked out, and virginal, Avery, as his collateral. Nero loses nothing but that poker hand, but Sebastian wins Avery for a month--part of her plan to get close enough to Sebastian and find a way to bring him down. But can she carry out her plan without getting in too deep with Sebastian? Will she get the chance she's seeking, or will she fall for the man she blames for Miles' death? Those are questions you'll just have to read this addictive installment in the Flawless series for yourself.

I think this is the first book that I have read in the Flawless world and I loved every second of it. This is the story of Avery and Sebastian.
Avery is mourning the loss of Miles, the man she loved. The man who promised to take her away from the life she was brought up in. However some major bad luck hits while he is playing Sebastian Wolfe's game, and he loses not only his money but his mind and his life and Avery wants her revenge. She wants Sebastian to pay if it is the last thing she ever does. It's going to take a plan and some serious help but she finds that in Nero and he gets her put up for bid in the game. She might live to regret that choice too since Sebastian never loses the game and he is more than determined to win her for a month to do anything he pleases with. Roxy Sloane just knows where to leave a good cliffhanger! After what happened to his sister for the punishment to go to Avery...that's cold! The uncle is hella slimey and he is going to pull something. Happy to see Nero and Lily! Damn Sebastain is a callous ruthless bastard, kinda hope he really gets taught a lesson.

Sebastian and Avery's story is next up in the Flawless series (books 7-9). When Miles, the man she loves falls to an untimely death, Avery is determined to make the ruthless businessman Sebastian Wolfe pay. Setting herself up to become indebted to Sebastian, Avery sets a trap to get close to the elusive billionaire, and find a way to destroy him the way he destroyed the love between Avery and Miles. Turns out, Sebastian isn't an easy puzzle to figure out. Every time he throws her off her game, she reluctantly learns things about herself she had no idea existed.
This series started simple enough, but Roxy takes us on a journey unlike the previous two stories in this series. This goes to darker depths, and I couldn't stop reading. Sebastian is a tough and relentless hedge fund manager, and he makes no excuses for the brutal way he does business. And to Roxy's dismay, he's not the one-dimensional bad guy she assumed him to be. As Avery and Sebastian spend more time together, they get to know more about each other. There's definitely an attraction between them, and Sebastian is awakening a side of Avery that's both terrifying and exciting to her. But when things go too far, Avery is reminded of why Sebastian is feared by many.
This Flawless series is really great, and I love the separate stories, but the overlap because the three couples have existed in all the series so far. Can't wait to start Priceless Secret!

OMG. This review may contain spoilers.
Okay, so I knew when I finished the last book that I was going to absolutely die for Sebastian and Avery. With what happened to Miles, I just knew our girl was going to be out for blood.
I did NOT expect it to go like this though. I wanted to hate Sebastian but I found him kind of endearing, like you know there’s a soft side deep down in there somewhere…. And Avery was bringing it out of him.
Until THE night.
When I saw that the book was almost done when we got to that part I was like oh no, what’s going to happen. But I never imagined it would end the way it did. And because I have no chill—I read this in a day—I’m starting the next arc immediately because Roxy was kind enough to give us 2 out of 3. Even though I know I’m going to be on pins and needles for the third installment to come out in February.
10/10 would recommend. The perfect enemies to not so loving lovers. I have a feeling we’re gonna get there though.
All I gotta say after that ending is Nero would never…. Which is why Seb would.

Avery is on a mission of revenge after losing the love of her life, Miles, because of a debt he could never pay so he committed suicide. She's bound & determined to make the object of her rage (Sebastian Wolfe) pay, and she & her friend came up with a plan. See, her friend, Nero, is going to lose gambling & offer up Avery as payment for a period of time, and Avery in turn will get close to Sebastian during this time to find out something (or more that one something) to destroy him, however, she didn't count on the insane attraction between the two of them. Let me tell you, the chemistry is crazy, which provides a heat filled distraction on her path of vengeance, and these two light the sheets on fire. Of course with what she's hiding, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for things to be revealed, and since Sebastian isn't a nice man well, it won't go over well. This story held all of my attention cover to cover, and I believe you'll feel the same so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I wanted to like this book and I feel like there is perfect potential. HOWEVER, in my opinion, I have a feeling all 3 books could’ve been combined into 1 story because of the excessive verbiage used in this particular story. The FMC was described as this major bada** who doesn't take sh*t from no one, but then portrays herself with young teenager demure.
I, also, didn’t realize this was a continuation from two other series - and those are necessary because of the character development that’s already happened prior to this story. I felt so confused throughout at times because the character development must've been done in the prior books; and if the character development wasn't done in the prior books, then that's a huge letdown and disappointment.
The cliffhanger in Priceless Kiss is definitely intriguing, but not enough for me to continue to read the series.... unless I decide to go back and read the other two trilogy's.

The cliffhanger in Priceless Kiss is definitely intriguing, but not enough for me to continue to read the series.... unless I decide to go back and read the other two trilogy's.

Roxy’s writing is always amazing. She gets you really into the development of the characters and their emotions. I really wanted to slap the naivety out of Avery though from the very beginning. Her plan was destined to fail before it even began. And her little pep talks to herself to rid herself of the guilt just annoyed me more. The only thing I wish was different was the POV. I wish there was equal POVs for them both through the whole book. The majority of it is Avery with only a couple from Sebastian. I could understand having it this way for the first book since it’s her plan set into motion but I was hoping the second book would be more split for POV but it’s not. It’s the exact same with all Avery and a couple Sebastian. It’s still an awesome book with good character development. I can’t wait to read the second one! Specially with how this one left off….

Roxy Sloane is back with a hot, tantalizing new trilogy and I think she might just be the queen of trilogies. Intense, scandalous, steamy af. The Priceless Trilogy had given us our first book and it was everything I expected it to be while keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire book.
Priceless Kiss gives us Avery's story that is wrapped up in revenge, secrets, mystery, and y'all mind-blowing moments that'll nearly give you whiplash. I'm so ready for more from Avery and all the players we've met so far in this complicated journey.
I can't wait for the next book and then the next. This is a spin off from her Flawless Series and y'all, I know it's going to be just as good.. if not better. What a journey.

I ate up this book in no time at all! I love that it was such a short read, but a wild ride none the less. A girl with a vengeance and a man who has no idea what’s coming. I love the plot and the twist, that cliffy though! What?! The tension was palpable every time I think Sebastian is going to expose Avery for what she is and Avery just diverting him at every turn. But there’s no denying the chemistry they have and I’m SOOOO here for it! I love a good female villainess who is demure as she is intoxicating and you can’t get her off your mind. Can’t wait to see where this series goes!

This series just keeps getting better and better. This is book 7 in the whole series (this is the third couple) and honestly, you need to read them all to truly understand why we are so upset with Sebastian. Of course this part of the series could be read of a stand alone but it’s just not as good without all the back information from Nero’s and Caleb’s stories. That all being said - we pick up from the end of Nero’s series from when Miles committed suicide and now Avery wants revenge against the catalyst of that event: Sebastian. This book is short and really sets up the story. Even though it leaves us on a HUGE cliff hanger, it’s still good. I can’t wait to see where this takes us and if history stays the course like the previous books, it’s going to get intense fast!

Honestly, when Sebastian made many appearances in previous books I didn’t care for him. Then we meet him again.
Avery is out to destroy him and is willing to do anything to accomplish that. She thinks it would be an easy thing since she despises him for being responsible for what happened to Miles. Somehow Sebastian knows exactly what buttons to press to get under her skin and makes the lines become blurred.
She must remember who Sebastian is and what he is capable of because she will soon find herself somewhere with no escape and no one knows where she is, why or how. The only
Person who can save her is Sebastian and he’s the reason she’s there in the first place.
This book in true Roxy fashion will have you hooked from the very beginning and have plenty of heat!

Avery tries to take revenge on Sebastian for what happened to Miles. She goes to London plays apart to find out secrets about the monster called Sebastian. He takes her apart sexually. He plays her and afterwards he finds the locket that she had the whole time at his house. He finds it and asked her who she really was and he told him she wanted to leave. She runs right into a van, men captured her and tie her down. Taking her to a psychiatric place. Sebastian said that's what happens to people who mess with him! This story was full of action and drama. Of course this story has a cliff hanger and hopefully the story will continue shortly. The delicious story!!! Enjoy!!

This is the first book in this series by this author. This is a story of revenge, betrayal, tension, attraction, chemistry, danger, secrets, and lots of hot and steamy moments. The characters, Avery and Sebastian, have an instant attraction which is more of an enemies-to-lovers story. Be warned, this story has a cliffhanger ending.

This is Sebastian and Avery’s story. It’s hot and intense. Avery blames Sebastian for her friend Mike’s death and sets out to enact her revenge little does Sebastian know that the woman he has “won” in a gambling game is hell bent on destroying him. What happens though when Sebastian opens up Avery’s desires and feelings? Can she still make him pay when she lists for him?
Priceless kiss is another awesome book by Roxy. She’s amazing in this genre and I can’t wait for book 2.

3.5/ 5⭐️ The “revenge” trope wasn’t well done in this I feel. The reason she wanted revenge wasn’t super valid in my opinion… I did however enjoy the spice, & the storyline. At first, the MMC was insufferable & I was not a fan. BUT he definitely grew on me throughout the book. I feel like it wasn’t really really good till right at the end. It did however leave me wondering & wanting to start the 2nd book right away!🤯

Off to the next one in the series because I really need to get back into their life and see where it takes them

Priceless Kiss is another steamy read from Roxy Sloane. This book is a little more twisted than previous books in the series - fueled by revenge. Sebastian was a character we have seen hints of in earlier books and honestly I was not too impressed, now I'm hooked and need more of him! I can't wait for the next book, especially with how this one ended!! Holy cliff hanger!!

Another meh read tbh. I read another series by this author that I really liked but this one is just okay. The plot is weird and I’m not the biggest fan of the MMC. It did end on a cliff hanger that made me very angry so of course I started the second book. I will probably finish this series though hoping for the next two books to be better.
