What I Like:
I like this story, and with each book the author gets better with her story telling, where I am fully invested and don’t feel the need to skip pages. Malachi’s wooing had me saying I love you too. The moment Malachi saw Nikita it was love at first sight. The author built their chemistry in stages while showing their strong physical and emotional connection. The build up for me was part of the excitement as Nikita tried to keep away as he was apart of the streets. The more she tried to resist, the harder he tried to rope her in. When Malachi is in wooing mode love him, when he is in boss mode love him. Seeing him with is family you still got another side of him.
This was urban but I was definitely getting more of a mafia vibes, which isn’t a bad thing as that also builds my excitement.
What Is So So:
This book had a sizable amount of errors, however, I still love the story and was still delighted to read it. This might hinder a few if you bypass this, good story.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY:
No complaints. With both characters love at first sight foreplay and the build up of their physical chemistry, I had no issues with their sex scenes, just made the intimacy that more engaging. You can definitely see they could not get enough of each other. The looks from across the room, the touches, yeah they got it bad.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
I hate when the secondary characters are good and engaging that you want them to have their own stories, but not sure if they will get their own stories. I would love to see Willow get her man, and see Cedric get his happily ever after, but with someone else. Willow is Malachi’s sister and Cedric is his right hand man. I really enjoyed Malachi’s family, they added to the story a lot.
I also want to note that the books doesn’t say it and it’s not listed on Amazon as a series, but this is a series that involves Tha Circle. Tha Circle includes Black, Tank, Hitta, Preach and Ace. They are all successful and brings their own unique thing to the group and when any one is in trouble, they join forces. They were heavily active in this book. The books in order to read with each guy so far:

Urban is a 'Triple B - Black, Billionaire and Boss. He is the heir to the Wharton fortune . Nikita and Urban seemed destined for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts and there was a magical aura between them. Well written and will grab your attention right at the beginning. Editing needs improvement. I read an arc via Bad Boy Updates and voluntarily chose to review it.

Compared to the last book I read by this author, this one just didn’t do it for me. What I noticed first was the numerous errors in word choice. I found it to be distracting and frustrating. The story starts off well enough but quickly goes south when the antagonists enter the picture. This is when the story started to drag for me and I found myself skimming the pages. I also really didn’t connect with Urban and Nikita like I would have liked.

I liked the characters and plot of this book. Nikita, the older, successful career woman was strong enough to be a true partner to Malichi Urban the young, only son of a prominent couple ready to pass on their legitimate bank that did business laundering money for criminal enterprises. But right after Urban runs into Nikita, knowing at first sight, that he must woo her with flowers sent to her office daily, his family is ambushed, his mother killed, his father in a coma, and his sister hospitalized. The Popov Russians, old enemies of his father are the culprits. At first, he decides to keep Nikii out of his dangerous life, but after a couple of weeks, he knocks on her door at midnight because he needs her. This is just the beginning of their courtship: him protecting her and her proving to him that he can't keep her in the protected dark. He learns to share his dangerous life with her and benefits from discussing strategies with her. This book was long and took me three days to read, but I agree with other reviewers that the constant errors due to lack of editing made it double hard to enjoy the 'nigga' talk.

First and foremost, Urban and Nikita are my favorite couple of The Circle so far. It all starts with an accidental run in, a ruined blouse from a cup of coffee, and that’s all it takes for these two to get lost in each other. Now, Nikita is older than Urban and twice bitten so she’s leery of his intentions. I mean, this is the man that loves his “fun time girls” as his mom puts it but when he sees Nikita it’s a wrap. She’s got him cutting women off, changing his ways, wooing, and thinking about marriage and those grandchildren his mom wants. The thing about Urban, he’s a financial genius for the less than reputable communities across the globe and Wharton Financial, the family business has a target aimed at them.
Nikita thought she could be immune to all of Urbana’s charms but she realized she didn’t want to be. She got to know all of the man - good and bad and ten toes down she stayed, prayed, slayed and loved every amazing and frustrating moment with him because they realized something that his mother told him; attack the problem, not each other. Hands down, the best book of the crew.

There always a lot going on in this collection of books but it makes for a good read.
We meet Urban and Nikita who have a perfect “meet cute”. Or as cute as it can be when one is the multi-million head of an underground financial institution and the other is an in-demand interior designer!
Nikita knows she enjoys spending time with Urban, but along with him being 8 years younger than her, she’s not sure she can handle his lifestyle, especially when it his family was shot at and she’s seen a liability.
Urban knows what he wants and he wants a chance with Nikita as she calms his thoughts. He’s just not sure how he can love her and protect his family/empire.
Per usual, there’s a lot going on. There also a lot of name to keep track of, many of which we were introduced to in prior books. The sex sexy times are inventive and hot where the women come first (and often) and the men are clear consent.
I am enjoying these books and plan to read about everyone in/adjacent to Tha Circle.

This is a great continuation of the series. The characters are strong, like minded individuals. They will protect the ones they love and take out who ever causes them pain or heartache.
Urban is being groomed to be the next banker to both the legal community and the underground communities.
Nikita has been ran into by Urban and he ruined her shirt. They part ways and her presence won’t leave him alone. NIkita is trying to keep her job and not kill her supervisor, the boss’s daughter.
They play the game well and eventually Nikita gives in and goes out with him..
There is trouble brewing on the horizon and Urban is trying to take care of it, his family, his job, and spend time with Nikita. When his family is hit and his mother is hit and killed, all bets are off and he is out for blood. He doesn’t want to bring in Nikita, but she is made of stronger stuff and is worthy of being by his side.

The absolute amazing chemistry between Malachi 'Urban' Wharton and Nikita is incredibly addictive. They say watch out for the bad boys, but what if he is everything you could ever want? I don't like to give away any part of the plot, so that I don't ruin it for others, however, you've got to read this release.

Malachi “Urban” Wharton is CEO of the banking empire his family started. When he runs into Nikita spilling his coffee all over her blouse. Urban decides that Nikita is the woman he is going to marry after that first meeting. Urban and Nikita start going out until his mother is killed and his father and sister end up in hospital. Her brother who is a cop wants her to stay away from him as a war is brewing. This is a great story and the chemistry between them is great. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given.

I stumbled upon this one and I am not sad at all... sans a few typos (which I just kept on reading over).this was a great read. We get the recipe of love lust powerful men... the author does an amazing job at the realistic nature of whom the ppl are and how the come together... Urban played mo games and they tripled when it cam to Niki...she was strong and talented an it was beyond refreshing to see and equally strong woman...this was my first book by the author and it will not be my last

Good story but... the editing not so much
This was a good book. The Story of Nikita and Urban was dynamic and suspenseful. Would have loved to see Nikita b-slap her former supervisor. Urban was purposeful in his mission to woo Nikita. Glad his mother gave him sound advice on how to approach a mature minded lady.
I would have loved to give this book more stars but the editing was not what we are used to. Too many errors with spelling, missing words and just sloppy attention to details.

Arc review For honest review I like the characters malachi urban Wharton who is heir to the Wharton legacy of banking and underground crime family. I see this black man as strong and alpha . then there is nikta Davis very strong black women who is a commercial and residential inter designer. In this story they both together are compatible .now what I really didn't like about the story I didn't like the slang but other then that I found this story held my attention and drew me in . great job.

Never Think The Cover Is What's On The Inside Of A Person.
Daja, good read. I love Urban he was unapologetic about being who he was. I love how he just surrendered once he met Nikita . She had to get over some feelings she had and her judgement of what a person looks like , after she came to herself she was totally in. This was just a nice read, enough drama and filled with love.🤗🤗🤗

Excellent Read
I liked how the series is continued over from the first two installments. I dislike Lori being killed off due to greed. There were some grammar errors and repetitive sentences. I would love to read more about the characters in this series and others. I would also like to read more about Hitta, Preacher, and see what comes of Cedric and Naomi's relationship.

Awesome story line, horrible editing!
While the story line was creative and a bit outside of the normal black billionaire creative, the editing was absolutely horrible throughout the entire book. So much so that I oftentimes had to use my own imagination to fill in what I thought the author was trying to say. For that I leave a 3 star rating.

Great Book
Really enjoyed this book. Urban and Nikita was made for each other. I expected Haley to cause problems but she didn’t. I like how he ended things prior to pursuing Nikita. It took her a while to come around but when she did! I’m really interested to see how things play out with Willow and whoever she ends up with…

This was an exciting story full of drama and suspense. The characters drew my attention and had me all caught up in the story which was great. My only concern is with grammatical errors and sentence structure. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I really enjoyed this story and it felt like I was watching a gangster movie rather than reading a book. Nikita and Urban were perfect for each other and I loved seeing their story unfold. The grammatical errors knocked the rating down because they were just tooooooooo much.

I loved it! Urban was a Savage in love!

Great reading
I enjoyed this book because it was a happy ending about a young lady falling in love with a man who lived a life of not only being a millionaire banker, but he was a savage,too. This reading showed that not all savages are gangsters.

I loved this book. There were some minor spelling errors but they did little to diminish the story’s impact. I think there was a missed opportunity to address her supervisors role in the story too.
