Irredeemably twisted and deliciously dirty. Not suitable for all readers. No cheating. Fast-paced instalove read with cute and steamy happy-ever-after guaranteed. It's my fault. I didn't realize I was trespassing until it was too late, and now my life is in his hands. I can either choose death...or submit to do his every bidding .
I absolutely hate his touch, but this ridiculously hot and annoyingly overbearing sheikh says I'm just lying to myself.
Every second with him is mortifying, but why does it feel like he's right? Am I secretly taking pleasure from obeying his every command? This is Book 1 of a new spinoff series related to the Desert Sheikhs of Ramil (Books 1-5). This can be read as a standalone.
Style: Blackmail Romance (Sheikh) Story: 3/5 Enjoyment: 2/5 Dark Level: 0/5 Sexual Level: GOOD Triggers: No Violence: No Male: Sexy Sheikhs Series: Book 1 Pages: 73 Audio: N/A Kindle Unlimited: Yes
STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I like that it’s a sheikh romance, you don’t see too many of these anymore. I like The sheikh’s person stoic and sexy. Seven, she was ok.
WHAT WAS SO SO: The way the story started got me a little excited. But was quickly turned off at Sheikh Saify’s approach. The questions, then just taking Seven, I did not feel that build up connection. The blackmail for me was not all the way believable. I did not like the way the story flowed as well. I have read novella/quick reads and understand this is fast pace, but again, for me, it was the build up and the set up for the blackmail. This is based on personal preference. Not saying it will not be a good story for someone else.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Their sex scenes weren’t bad, it’s the in-between/build up that was an issue for me.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Sometimes Did I like the story? Sometimes Would I read/continue the other books in the series? Not sure.
TRIGGERS:
NOTES: no om/ow drama
****I don't equate these stories with reality. It is a question of personal taste and what you want or want to tolerate with the books that you read. I know we all have different views and preferences when it comes to what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and although these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope that the review was helpful.
