Unbelievable but in a good way I promise

This book is an emotional one that’s for sure. And we know there are women out there who are suffering abuse just like Emily did. The strength of character the author gave Emily was so well done. Never was her situation made light off or was she made to look like it was her fault.

We got to see her strength of character and how her experience didn’t define her. Emily was still a warm and caring woman who went out of her way for others, even willing to give up the man she loved to protect him.

Emily thankfully found a man worthy of her in the form Geoffrey. Who would do anything to show her how much she is loved and appreciated.

This was truly an amazing book to read.

This was fine. Much shorter than I expected with big jumps in time. Writing was ok , but nothing particularly funny or sexy. Won’t read more of the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of Her Billionaire Butler. Geoffrey and Emily were a delight. They kept running into each other (literally)! They are both wounded souls who deserve more. This well written enemies to friends romance kept me reading when I should have been doing chores. (The book is way more fun!) Will they learn to love Christmas again?

A sweet simple romance!

This is a sweet, short, holiday romance!

I'd give the story a solid 4 stars. It was a cute, tender story about how love can heal the most bruised of hearts. Emily has come to get a fresh start after a harrowing experience with her now dead husband!

Geoffrey is a butler working for a wealthy family. What he doesn't tell anyone is that he's just as rich as they are. Hence the name of the book!!

But if give the story 3 stars because it's not complete. The story is so short with only 160 pages to whole book, so the story can't dive deep anyway. And there are huge time gaps from chapter to chapter.

I hate it when I find a good storyline that the author doesn't run with. Now while, this had the makings of a wonderful story, it had the potential to being so much more. Don't get me wrong, this is a cute, tender story. It just could've been so much more. Could've done deeper into the issues she had to deal with or maybe how she overcame certain things in this new relationship with Geoffrey!

Instead it's a simple story. A good one but....

A Billionaire Buter for Christmas is the second book in the Dexington Christmas Billionaires. It can be read as a standalone book.

Emily Roth has escaped an abusive relationship, but at the cost of her identity and her unborn baby. She is in hiding under another name in small down Dexington near a good friend. She is working at a high end clothing shop when she meets butler, Geoffrey Hart, by crashing into him and spilling coffee on the special order clothing he was picking up for the Dexington family, whom he works for. Emily was fired over it. Then Emily and Geoffrey keep running into each other again and again at places and events around town. With time, Geoffrey finds he likes her and wants to see more of her. Emily has been burned too badly to be interested in another relationship, but would like to be friends. So starts a slow burn relationship that takes time to come fully to light for them both.

Sweet, clean and totally no plausible, but a nice read. Just set reality way way aside. Having barely survived an abusive relationship she is rebuilding her life in this new small town. One of those ‘if it can go wrong it will go wrong’ days happen and she is fired and the apartment she was renting is ripped out from under her due to a nasty clause .. oh, and her car won’t stop after she gets it out from having been towed. She does get a line on a new job … and it is the guy involved with her getting fired and her car towed that is one of the interviewers… she finds out after another mishap with him. Now, accept all of that and enjoy reading this sweet and clean romance that is taking over a year to build into a proposal… oops that horrid past comes up to bite her. Ah, but her prince charming is more than charming… he is a knight in shining armor.

Emily and Geoffrey met and sparks fly but not in a good way. They have both been through so much in there lives but Geoffrey was now settled in his work and Emily was just about to have the worst day, she lost her job, had her car towed and had to leave her flat because it was needed by the landlord's family. What will happen next will she get a break or is she in for more heartache. This is a really great book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Emily and Geoffrey and everything that they both had to go through to get a happy ending. I have read every book by Dobi she is an amazing author and talented writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed.

Geoffrey dislikes Christmas since people he cares about leave him during the holidays. Emily wants to make Christmas special since she’s recreating her life after serious trauma. Geoffrey is partly responsible for Emily losing her job, so he sets out to make it right.
As preparations for the Christmas season continue, they keep running into each other. It leads to them dating even though Emily isn’t sure she’s ready for a relationship. When Emily is approached by someone from her past, will the fledgling relationship crash and burn? Or can it survive?
This was a great book with both romance and serious issues included. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Super quick read. Clean Christmas romance that will make you giggle and think of every single Hallmark movie you’ve ever seen.
She has a secret, traumatic past. He’s just waiting to find the right one for him. Meet cute gone wrong as she spills hot coffee all over his employers purchase that he’s picking up-she gets fired-new interview-oops he’s interviewing her-she thinks she won’t get the job-loses her apartment, car breaks down-gets the job-goes for coffee, now they love each other but they’re taking it slow and then he proposes and she word vomits her trauma and now he’s saving her and they live happily ever after. Oh, and they adopt an orphan who calls him Uncle Goofy and her Auntie Emily.
Just cute.

I did find the book to be kind of comical at least at the beginning.

What happens when a man and woman keep running into each other? They get together. Geoffery Hart had gone into a boutique where Emily Roth worked at. Emily accidently spills coffee onto his boss' wife new pajamas. Things just go downhill from there for Emily and Geoffery. Geoffery decides to see what happens if he can get to know Emily better.

Emily has a hard time deciding if she is ready for a new relationship. Her last relationship didn't go that great and left some emotional scars. Can she get over it and allow another man into her life, and if she can will she beable to share her burden from it and and will he over look it and decide that he still wants to be with her.

A Christmas story starts a sweet redemption for a loving and worthy soul. I like Geoffrey’s good nature and Emily’s goodness and her desire to serve and help others. Little Hannah is a darling. Emily’s background made me sad. I like that she had the courage and determination to start a new life, even though it was not all smooth sailing. After a few literal “run-ins”, Geoffrey and Emily had a fun and happy relationship. Their initial meeting and subsequent interactions made me laugh. I felt like there could be more character development and more interactive situations to explain their decisions to marry, though.

First look

and first book that I have read by this author.
WIth a storyline and background that was initially set out & presented quite differently and very well, this story met expectations and yet seemed to miss possibilities along the way. A good, descriptive and gentle story that had the chance to excel, this occasionally read as if in preçis form. I will try others by D Daniels as I'm almost sure there will be some others that will breach that small gap in presentation. Enjoyable all the same !

Heartwarming

Can Emily trust her heart and past to love again? After running into Geoffrey twice in two days, one getting her fired and second spilling his drink on her dress before her job interview. She was furious with him .and didn't want to see him again. Can Emily forgive him, and admit that she found him handsome. Geoffrey seemed to be everywhere she was when volunteering. Even at the orphanage where she would visit Hannah. Were all these meetings meant to be? Read this clean romance story to see what happens.

Have me something to think about

I thought Geoffrey was an odd person. First, he is a butler, but has enough money to have a butler. His interactions were odd. Something was just off with his personality. I couldn't get comfortable with him. I
Emily was a character in target, but had oddities with her relationship with Geoffrey.
Emily had a good storyline.
For the most part the story was predictable. A little surprise thrown in.
3.5 is the best to can give. I finished it and thought most of the story was ok, but the characters didn't feel right with me.

short and sweet

Nothing to write home about, a sweet short read, it felt as if some of the story was missing, it seemed to jump around towards the end and had me asking myself if I’d missed many pages, which was weird, nice enough story but really needed to be edited or proof read before going out for sale. Hence the three stars, luckily I picked it up for free, I’d be very disappointed if I paid money for this effort.

A Great Christmas Cozy

There is intrigue, grit, compassion and butting of heads while two people try to work out the attraction between them and still keep secrets. How does this work out? Emily really had to climb out of a hole just to laid the job she had only to lose it because of a client - who kept showing up wherever she went. Frustrating and no hope of Christmas joy, but love can be a powerful force. I can recommend this book for any age.

A Billionaire Butler for Christmas is Book 2 in the Dexington Christmas Billionaires. It can be read as a standalone. With any billionaire story you have to set aside plausibility and if you do, this is a cute story. A butler with a backstory meets a young woman with a secret and sparks fly. It was a cute story but like most novellas it didn't feel like it went deep enough with the characters or the plot line. I enjoyed reading it though.

Christmas Mishaps to Christmas Kindness

What do you do when you have to encounter the person who has unintentionally caused so many Mishaps? You try to give them the worst thing you can. But why does the universe keep pushing you together? Cause it's leading to the kindness that you both have in your heart. This is an overall feel good book. There is some abuse that causes some mental and emotional damage but the ending is happy.

I want a billionaire butler, too!

It's a great twist to a great story! A butler who has made it to billionaire status. Emily didn't always have it good though. She had problems in her first marriage that came to haunt her relationship with Geoffrey. Oh, no, I'm not going to spoil the story for you. There are good things that happened in this book, too! You'll have to read it to find out though.

waiting for Love

From a sad and sorry background, Emily was trying to rebuild her life. But,one thing led to another and life blew up all around her. In comes Geofrey and she feels that there is nothing else that can go wrong. Watch these two go through their greeting, meeting, and crazy relationship.

My first read by this author

I finished this book in one day. It was a cute read. I really enjoyed it and the ending was beautiful. I really love books with emotional happy endings. The most that I loved about this book that it didn't have pages of love scenes. Clean romance. I will definitely be adding this book to my favorite reads.

Unfortunately, I found this book a bit ridiculous. It felt like the author tried a bit too hard to make it seem like the two MCs were destined to be together through acts of fate. There is little development and some of the dialogue was just plain unrealistic or awkward. It was a quick read, though. So I’ll give it that much.

Cozy but predictable

A cozy but predictable holiday romance where the down and out girl gets a rich, handsome fella. The book needs editing. Nits and poor word choice are distracting and make what could be a potentially great, book ho-hum.

More attention to detail, better transitions, and more background would beef up this story.

Enjoyed this intriguing, love, drama, story very much. Story seemed realistic and main characters Geoffrey and Emily were well described and compassionate and caring individuals. Found Emily, especially, to have my empathy with all she'd endured with her first hubsand and her life at that time.

Everything seems to go wrong for Emily. She's hanging by a thread. Plausible ? No, but I continued to read the entire second book in the Dexington Christmas Billionaires series by Dobi Daniels. I liked Geoffrey's backstory holding onto his family's tradition. How could a mere butler be a billionaire? Read this clean, sweet romance to find out.

This was an easy, romantic read. Good for a short Christmas, happy, ever after story. I never thought a butler would be a billionaire so it was a little different. It was the usual girl mets guy, they fall in love, something happens but they make it together. The nice thing was there was no bad language and no sex. A good, clean romance.
