Draco and Hermione have become best friends. What started out as platonic friendship, has developed into a robust friends with benefits arrangement. They’re always together, always joking and poking fun at other, and always knowing what the other wants… except for one thing. They both want more from this relationship.
Quick, spicy, heartfelt - the perfect checklist for a great one shot. The story is fast-paced with just enough angst and drama. It’s third person limited (Hermione) and I like mine limited to Draco to get all the pining, but it was still really fun.
Solid friends with benefits story. Started off great but lost a bit of the momentum towards the end. Plenty of spice though. Giving it a strong 3 stars.
This fic was amazing! I loved Draco and Hermione’s friendship throughout the whole fic. Wish we could’ve seen their friends reactions to them getting together and a little more of the Harry/Pansy, Theo/Neville relationship. But overall a really spicy and fluffy fic (a bit angsty but all the good ones are 😅) Also this is my first fic of the new year! Decided I’m not rating anymore fics (unless they become my new obsession)
3.75 ⭐️ I was looking for something soft and fluffy and this delivered. Very sweet. Very smutty. An adorable short read that just makes you smile. I love the consent positivity. I love the sex positivity. If you like friends with benefits where everyone knows it’ll be a HEA but them- this is great.
- second read, I can’t remember when the first was - so achingly intimate - fuck I love the way In_Dreams writes - I can definitely see myself reading this yet again ✅ lots of feels

I enjoyed the story. Friends to lovers is one of my favorites. I think the third act misunderstanding was a bit overkill. Draco and Hermione were open with each other, so the misunderstanding was written on pretty light grounds.
It was a bit open to me whether their circle of friends was necessary to be in the story at all. They didn't really have a clear role. On the other hand, they were a nice addition.
