so repetitive and long for no reason. nothing is explained, there is no plot whatsoever, just them running and getting shot at by who? we don’t know. for what? we don’t know either. it just felt like reading the second book all over again.

the smut scenes were always taking place at such weird moments like she thinks her brother died? sex. she just had a flashback from when she got sa? sex. he just got shot? you guessed it, sex. just give me a break already.

also i couldn’t say what was up with the writing but there was just something so annoying to me. the characters kept repeating the same stuff over and over again like we GET IT "she is ours" you are gonna "fucking kill them" she is your "little sister". my god give me something NEW.

oh and the vivienne chapters were so boring like WE DON’T CARE i understand that the author wanted to introduce the spinoff but it was just boring and annoying to read.

The storyline had me feeling kinda confused since everything seemed so sudden and abrupt. Like how??? Lots of unanswered questions and plotholes as well. It feels like everything was rushed. But the smut was pretty damn good, I gotta say.

“Ours”, the third installment in the “Blood Ties” series, takes the romance and suspense to thrilling new heights. The characters’ relationships grow more complex as the stakes become life-threatening, with secrets and danger lurking at every turn. The chemistry is electric, and the forbidden allure that drives the series is more intense than ever.
With lots of passion, tension, and intrigue, I was hooked.

Somewhere between 4 and 5 ⭐️’s

What a great ending to such an amazing trilogy. I was so excited to get an eARC of Ours and I started as soon as it dropped into my email. I couldn’t wait to find out how Ryth, Tobias, Nick and Caleb’s story ended.

What a perfect ending, I couldn’t have wanted more if I asked for it. We finally get some answers and we finally see some closure for Ryth and everything she went through in Hers. I would have liked a little more of a confrontation with the mother at some point, but that’s fine; the story that was being told, was finished and it was great.

Ryth and her brothers were together throughout this book, it made me so happy to see them all sitting down, making a plan, and just generally being protective of each other. They’d all been through a lot and seeing them all come together, just to BE together, was a beautiful read.

The spice as always was ✨exquisite✨.

I was so glad to read a bonus epilogue of them all 6 months later and it made me so happy.

I loved seeing Vivienne’s story coming together and I’m really excited to read her story in Owned when it’s released. She seems like a strong-ass female and I can’t wait to see how she handles her situation with London St.James and his sons.

If you haven’t picked up this trilogy yet, please get on it, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you to the author for providing an arc in exchange for an honest review.

What an ending!!! I have been hooked on these four after reading Mine and Hers. I just knew that their conclusion would come with a bang (that it did, numerous times 😉) and that it would be rough getting there.

Ryth, Caleb, Nick and Tobias were so hot together. She had so much darkness in her life, but these 3 brothers brought out the light through it all. They knew just what she needed and protected her at all costs.

I really loved T in this book! I almost hated him in book 1 so I was so happy to finally fall for him 100%. Caleb was perfect for her and was there for her when the darkness tried to swallow her up. With Nick, I felt like he got a bit forgotten. He yearned for her but knew that his brothers needed her more. Selfless as the come. He just waited patiently until his girl came back to him and boy did she!

Then the parts with Vivienne! Holy crap we've got another hot and smexy series coming our way from this author. Daddy and sons are gonna be perfect!

Warped

Synopsis (of Trilogy): 18 year old girl whose father has been sent to prison and who has, allegedly, also betrayed the mafia for whom he works moves with her mother into a house with a rich man and his 3 sons. The mafia are after her and her mother. The 3 sons all for the FC (pretty quickly) and the mother/man hook up. There are plot twists and human slavery/trafficking with the story arcing across 3 books focused around the FC and MCs running from those who are after them and human slavery. The human slavery elements aside I would not rate this book as particularly dark or triggering despite the author's attempts to make it so.

The main issue I had with this book is that it is yet another author who appears to think that writing about an 18 year old virgin who, within 5 minutes of meeting the MCs is up for being assaulted and taken by all three MCs not just once but ongoing, is acceptable or romantic. It's not. It's one thing to write a good bully romance or enemy to lovers romance - which I very much enjoy - or where the characters' relationships develop and deepen. However this book is neither. There is a form of "instalove" with no growth or development of the characters and simply scene after scene of graphic (not hot) sex with the young FC apparently, despite never having had sex before, becoming an instant nyphomaniac who is into being degraded and abused.

The other concern I have about this book is around the human slavery aspects. This and sex trafficking appear on occasion in darker romances and can be dealt with well and sensitively forming an integral part of the story. Unfortunately this author seems to want the "drama" of including this type of story line but takes no responsibility in how she writes about it. She depicts all of the women who are subject to abduction and forced sexual slavery as apparently enjoying it. That is absolutely abhorrent. To minimalise and trivialise what women subject to this type of treatment go through is unacceptable. There's 50 Shades of Grey where the sex is consensual, well written and hot; there are also books where the degradation or BDSM aspects are well written and part of a relationship which has depth and includes love and respect; then there is this. The author appears to be of the view that women enjoy being degraded, forced to have sex with multiple individuals and that it is acceptable. It's not. A book like this concerns me when it is aimed at YAs as it seems to be (a) giving a wrong view of women and how they should be treated; and (b) implying that/normalising a situation where women should enjoy being treated badly, abused and degraded.

Finally, it should be noted that this trilogy as a story arc is not completed. The books just ramble on with the MCs/FC being chased by the bad guys and then suddenly they escape and, apparently, live happily ever after. This is without any of the villains being held to account or helping out the other women held in slavery or, the MCs doing much of anything to help themselves. There were so many open questions (not that I cared by this point and was barely skim reading) around what Creed's role was, what was going on with Laz, how T was suddenly back on good terms with the Rossi's; what happened to the FC's father etc. that I wondered what the point of the books was. If I had been at all invested in the story it would have been incredibly frustrating. As it was it was irritating that I could find no redemption in these books or the author other than that they were better edited than some! My view is these books should be avoided and I won't be reading any more of this author's works

This book had so many chances at amazing plots. But they left so many plot holes. Who is King. Why did he want to meet her so bad. Who is her real father. Why did Creed betray his sons. What did Jack even do for everyone to hate him if Ben himself said he never stole. What even happened to Ben? No true ending to the Order either. What was the deal with the breeding program. Oh and the epilogue why even bother mentioning she had a good who the real father was and not even say anything?! Why did it have to be such a secret for her to terrify the guys that way. Ugh. And don’t get me started on Vivienne. Her whole storyline never made sense and was wasted chapters. This book had SUCH potential. Could have even made a 4th book on their story if they would have answered actual questions.

“Where one of us went, we all went. There was no falling behind, no going off on our own. No bed we slept in alone. Not anymore.”

Ok first of all, I LOVED that the characters were together for majority of this book! I just love when they’re all together, though I did hate the tension between the brothers and I would’ve liked to have scenes with just the brothers coming back together with their trust and loyalty. It did feel at times that a boy got left out here and there which I didn’t like, however towards the end it does fix this! I really enjoyed the plot of this trilogy, however don’t expect all questions to be answered as there is another 6 books to this series that follow different characters but run under the same overall plot. I loved having all the different perspectives as it just helped piece things together a little better. Also, Rebel, our ferocious little puppy she was adorable but at times it felt like she was forgotten during the story. It did feel like there were a few repeated scenes - HOWEVER I enjoyed these characters and thought the ending was done really well! Overall, it was an enjoyable trilogy with a well done plot filled with darkness and some spicy spice.

"She is our sister, our lover. She is ours to protect and ours to save."

The story of Ryth and the boys was INCREDIBLE. I didn’t want it to end and my god was this a rollercoaster. I still can’t wrap my head around the shit that went on throughout this series, “WTF” was my most used phrase 🤣

Book two ended on another cliffhanger ...

And book three picks up the baton and RUNS with it! With more twists, more hopeless dead ends, more hail mary's and more of the brothers banks fighting to save the one(s) they love.

If you have made it this far its probably safe to say your trigger list is short, but just to be safe check it again anyway ... this time around we have some other elements added in!

The search for the truth will lead to more and more questions, the old journal holds secrets, and we learn that The Order is far more than we first considered ....

Honestly, its non stop from cover to cover and I'm literally going to read book four RIGHT NOW.

I absolutely loved the first book and where the plot was going. I loved how Ryth never took Tobias crap and she low key loved it. She made all 3 men feel again after losing there mother . There was so many 🚩 with her mother. You see right away that Ryth mother and Creed are hiding something . The cliffhanger in the first book made me jump right into the second one. The thing that made me cringe was how they kept calling eachother brothers and sister. It was just a kink for them but it was said so many time that I just couldn’t anymore with it . Also I felt like Ryth story ended with me having so many questions and never get answers.

Also there are some spicy scenes through out the books. Look up trigger warnings before reading!!!!

The ending that kind of wasn't. Lots of unanswered questions. No plot advancement. No character development. At least this book didn't take place in The Order, but our main characters were running from them the entire book.

There were random chapters thrown in from a character we met in book 2, Vivienne, and I skimmed them because honestly, I had no interest in her or her point of view. They were clearly a setup for the add-on book after this supposed conclusion of the series. They added absolutely nothing to the story except for an alternate point of view to the buildup of the climax of the book.

Though I'm disappointed at all of the unanswered questions, I will not read the next book to find out if they are eventually answered. I really liked the first book, and they've just gone downhill since that one.

Aaahhhh!

What a wonderful way to wrap up this story. I'm so very sad that we are moving in another direction now, but so glad it worked out the way it did. Until the next book in the series... we shall see how it all ties together.
I've come to love these characters so much! Maybe not as much as Ryth, but as mush as I possibly can. Every single one of them has touched my heart in some way and I can totally understand why Ryth loves them all so much. And why they love her.
On the other hand, I'm excited to see where Vivienne's story goes. It sounds like it will be very interesting. I love the authors writing and how Vivienne was weaved more into this book to get us ready for the next.

Can't wait to dive into book 4!
Update: CR book 4

I received an ARC for this book for my honest review.

I loved the character development for all involved. Especially Tobias. Tobias was so angry and mad at the world during book one but now he has someone who brings him happiness. Nick mentions how Tobias held Ryth’s hand. How shocked he was over such a kind gesture. Those are the things I love to see. The angry bad boy, being sweet to his Queen.

Ryth goes through some pretty traumatic events and those things just make her stronger. She loves each of her men and wants to keep them safe.

The reason why I rated this 3.5 ⭐️ . The plot. In books one and two, I was so intrigued and captivated by the plot. Atlas set up this mafia world and background story that kept you guessing but this is book three, the final book. And I expected a lot of my questions to be answered. However there is going to be a spin-off series happening with one of the female characters introduced and I guess all those questions will be answered during her book. So while Ryth and her men get their happily ever after (or for now since not all the bad guys got taken care of) there is still a lot of unresolved issues.

I loved seeing how Ryth and her men ended up. They deserve each other and to be happy and safe.

5/5 🌶 Atlas knows how to write some spicy scenes. 🥵 These scenes have been fantastic since book one and they just keep getting better.

I wish we could’ve gotten more focus the main characters. I love reading about them. They are who I fell in love with. Some side characters were introduced that had their POV and I just didn’t care for them the way I did Ryth, Caleb, Nick and Tobias. Not to say I won’t when I read their stories but this wasn’t their story.

Overall I enjoyed the book and the series very much.

What a wild, crazy and thrilling ride book 3 takes you on! From start to finish it’s twist, turns and a whole hell of a lot of action! It picks right up from book 2.
Each guy is dealing with their own demons, while trying to keep Ryth safe. These guys are struggling to keep it together and loyalty is tested. They’re all so different in ways and give her something different. I loved watching their relationships grow through the series. Questions are finally answered and truths are revealed. I have thought I had an idea, I thought maybe Elle wasn’t Ryth’s real mom, but she was and there’s so much more to it.
I was still left with some questions at the end… who was King and is HE Ryth’s real father. I’m guessing yes. For a second I thought maybe London was King. I would’ve liked to have gotten more of a back story on Elle and have her explain herself, or at least have Jack tell Ryth what was going on.
But all in all, this was a phenomenal ending to the trilogy and I loved seeing these guys get their happy ending!

This series! It's pulled me in since I started it. I didn't want to put this one down. There's a lot going on and a lot of loose ends that need to he tied up, but some of those seem to be flowing over into Vivienne's story.

I hate to let Ryth go. She has grown so much since the beginning of Mine. She has had a rough road, but will do what she can to protect and claim what is hers. The guys have staked their claim and they refuse to lay down and let anyone put their hands on Ryth or try to take her away. They are possessive of Ryth and fiercely loyal to her and each other only.

There has been nothing but action from page one of Ours. I felt like I was constantly waiting for The Order to pop up and ruin their lives. I am interested in seeing what happens next with The Order, so I will be reading Vivienne's story!

What a finish to the story of these four. And we get introduced to another character, Vivienne, and I can’t wait to see what her story brings next 🙌

I don’t want to give spoilers so to keep this as spoiler free as we can, fuuuuck her mom, the step dad is truly a pile & we have a character come in that I was super happy about that helps our four faves out in a BIG way.

I am disappointed that we never got an answer to the tracker question though. That one is going to bother me until the bitter end.

Overall, the Blood Ties series is a good read with a plot I appreciated and all the 🌶️ you could ask for.

I still don’t know the ending for Jack and the rest of the group. This series doesn’t just describe Ryth’s path, it also hits on Vivienne’s. The Order is a crazy thing to be a part of and quite honestly it’s quite eerie to know they’ve gotten such a far reach to get their possessions back. This was an intriguing dark read and one that keeps you wondering what Jack’s hiding when it comes to The Order.

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved everything about this series. Caleb, Nick, Tobias, and Ryth make such an epic team. They do everything together. Those men are obsessed and so protective. I can not get enough of Tobias he is hands down my favorite of the Mc's. This is so good.

Loving this series....there is so much darkness going on that keeps you gripped to the story and with my favourite why choose and step brother tropes, what more could a girl ask for. Caleb, Nick and Tobias are 🔥🥵🌶️👌🏻 and our girl Ruth is feisty 💖👑💕.......really looking forward to the next 3 books with Vivienne's story ❤️‍🔥
