A collation of ideas, with no subheadings or notes to them, unless the topic is utterly un-obvious. It’s divided into a large number of categories, and within each category are extensive ideas, and an introduction to make sure you know what kind of thing you’re aiming at. Most of the ideas are one-liners, yet movies have been made out of them: a city-slicker in the country, for instance. Many of them are things I’ve tackled in the columns I used to write at the time I read this – so there’s nothing new under the sun.
