Anyway.
Assuming that we're inside the Jessa Kane Cinematic Universe, this was good. It's fine. It stands up in the gross-hot genre. As far as slutty novellas go— by all means, take this as a recommendation. If you want my subjective opinion, this wasn't my personal favorite from Chloe Maine, but I put CM in the same category as JK... aka even when I don't like it, I like it. Y'all know what I'm saying.

Meh.
This was sweet, and it had some really sexy moments.
But it was also a bit confusing.
There was a vibe between Wyatt and Heath that hinted at them also getting together, and the way they all talked seemed to confirm that, but they never actually did to our knowledge.
It was just weird.
Either cross swords or don’t, but this was just a confusing half yes half no situation that made it all unsatisfying.
I don’t know.
It was short and steamy and had some good moments, I just wanted more from it.

An easy, crazy hot read.
Short, but there was enough story to have me enjoying the characters and their super steamy journey. This is a threesome where the female is the main focus, but the men discover there are feelings between all three of them, not just paired off. For those who don’t care so much for M/M, the physical between Heath and Wyatt is a blink and you might miss it, but the emotional is acknowledged and just lovely.
Short, but there was enough story to have me enjoying the characters and their super steamy journey. This is a threesome where the female is the main focus, but the men discover there are feelings between all three of them, not just paired off. Spicy. We love a reverse harem. Big dislike that they set us up for a truly hot throuple but all the attention is pretty much only on her. We got pretty good spice but we could've gotten off the charts. The chemistry and set up were there. In the words of Adele "we could've had it all".

Emily is so sweet and innocent. Wyatt is adorably shy in a hot, aggressive way. And Heath is their rock that guides them. I love that it turns to more for Heath and Wyatt.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm in Chloe Maine's ARC Team, I would have never picked this up. If you've been here long enough to know which tropes I love to read and which ones I dislike, you'd know this one is one I dislike. I have been disappointed one to many times by stories that focus on love triangles. If you've been following my ARC read of the Darkly Ever After Anthology on Goodreads, you've probably noticed how much I've struggled with the first two stories.
Despite the fact that I've read those and was disappointed at the same time that I was reading Cabin Mates, I have to admit Chloe did it. Chloe did exactly what it will take for me to like a love triangle (or even a reverse harem). That was introduced the males at the same time as one package deal. Heath and Wyatt both walked right into that cabin together were they bumped into the girl they've been obsessing over for the past months.
Another thing that hit the mark for me was that they're both actively pursuing the relationship with Emily. Emily, herself, is also pursuing it and not trying to decide who she wants more. There's equal sharing between everyone.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Cabin Mates and let me tell you... I just can’t get enough of it. I’ve been super excited to read this since Chloe Maine had began teasing it to readers and it actually ended up exceeding my expectations completely. Her books are the only ones that have made me flush red; cheeks so warm it’s impossible to hide them or try to explain them away! I adore her style of writing - the tenderness, the insta-love concepts that are written like a dream, even right down to the way she just words her sentences (I’m not exaggerating, there’s too many stunning quotes from her books.)
I don’t read MMF romances, they’ve never intrigued me all the much, but I put all my trust in Chloe Maine this time and I’m beyond glad that I did. This was a beautiful read; a wonderful sense of safety and passion in connection to all three characters. It’s been a while since I got excited over seeing which POV is next as a chapter ends but Cabin Mates certainly brought that great feeling back. How Emily, Heath and Wyatt individually talk about each other is intoxicating.
If you’re looking for a relatively quick read that flows smooch and heavy from the beginning - like hot chocolate fudge cake topped with a delightful handful of sweet strawberries, hmm and some fresh cream too - then Cabin Mates is a must have for your TBR list.
P.S. Mrs. Maine, if you feel the urge to write a MMF romance again I’ll be right here waiting with my hands outstretched for it!

Wow. What a book. Chloe Maine brings her characters to life. After a life of all study and no fun, Emily gets exactly what she deserves when she takes a weekend at her family's cabin to relax and meets her two soul mates, who unknowing to Emily rent the cabin the same weekend. You must pre-order and read how Emily and her men, Heath and Wyatt find their Happy ever after. So good.

I was lucky enough to grab this book in the 'Stuff your Kindle' event on 30.06.2023 and started reading right away. I haven't read too much reverse harem but enjoyed the way the Author laid out the circumstances and each characters personalities. It was a great read and I had a lot of fun!

Cosy, steamy, spicy, MMF novella that is going to have you panting. It was a great joy to read and Chloe Maine is quickly becoming a novella favourite. She's a petite girly, who's staying at a mountain cabin, and two strangers turn up - they too have booked the cabin! Turns out they've been aware of her outside this chance encounter, and the close proximity, a weekend spent in the woods alone with no distractions....calls forth some "distractions".

I love this book so much. It’s just delicious. I’ve read it 4 times in 3 days, and I keep coming back for more. I love the interplay between the characters and the development of the three of them and their relationship. It’s an MMF, but the MM elements aren’t really explored, just their affection for each other. This book ticks alllll of my boxes, and was super hot and steamy. Chloe Maine is my new favorite author and I highly recommend all of her books. This book includes mention of characters from “Father of the Bride”, but it’s not really a spoiler and they can be read independently. I just love this book. My only complaint would be that it ended and I had to go back to reality.
I received an ARC copy of Cabin Mates, with the option to leave a review if I wanted to, and I very much do. I eagerly consume anything by this author and fervently hope she continues writing. Wholly recommend. Yummy.

Factor some alone time, or some one-handed reading, when settling in to read this book, trust me, you’ll need it! This started out innocent enough but it quickly moved to some love lessons and uncontrolled gratification. While it was clear emotions were involved, it took a bit more for the heads to catch up with the, uh, hearts and other parts. Sexy times are had by all and forever is in their sights <3

BEST BOOK YET!!!
I am completely obsessed with this author. Her books just get better and better. They are everything I’m looking for in a book!! They are short and sweet and soooo FREAKING HOT!

Chloe Maine books are so perfect! The epitome of quick and dirty yet with enough story to have you falling in love with the characters! My favorite part is ZERO drama! Her books are straight up steamy romance… they meet, get to know each other, fall in love & live HEA. There’s no made-up drama to add to the story, it’s all focused on the characters and their relationship and ❤️I LOVE IT!!❤️
While this appears to be authors’ first attempt at ménage, she nails it perfectly! 😍 While not an actual TW, swords come close to crossing, in case bisexual ménage is not your thing. To me, it’s what a polyamorous relationship would ideally have to be like. I’m annoyed with usual ménage style writing where the guys try not to touch each other or their 🍆💦🍆 😂 I mean totally unrealistic, am I right? A true poly relationship should be love all around, not just only towards the female. In this case, it’s the truest feelings of not being complete without the other 2 people. There’s no kissing or one on one time between the guys, but they acknowledge their closeness and love for each other. I can find it annoying when the typical ménage guys only focus on the girl and there’s zero acknowledgment that they are bumping body parts with another guy, am I right? I feel like they are just trying to ignore that by focusing on the girl, like it’s an unacknowledged side-effect. Realistically these guys have a pretty intimate and loving relationship with each other. I like that it is addressed, though briefly, in this book.

Our heroine, Emily, is a college student and decides she needs a little break and some R&R so she heads up to her family’s cabin to do just that. She didn’t know that the cabin had been rented and shortly after she gets there, Wyatt and Heath arrive. They had decided to book the cabin to get away too. But they had wanted to give themselves some space from Emily! They had been working at the college redoing the dorms and became obsessed with Emily. But they wouldn’t act on their desires because of the contract they had with the university. So it was an awesome coincidence that the very cabin they booked to get away to just so happens to be the one Emily is at. Emily hadn’t seen them before but they had sure seen her. And their connection was immediate. They both had fell for her.
Heath is Wyatt’s boss and he’s basically the Daddy figure. Wyatt is a virgin. So is Emily.
They decide that since they’re all there that it would be ok for them all to stay and get to know each other some. Heath knows how badly Wyatt has wanted Emily so he tries to get out of their way and let them be together. But Emily wants him too. She’s attracted to both of them. So after a little convincing, she gets what she wants.
I loved this story! Heath, Wyatt and Emily were so hot and I love their dynamic! I really hope there is more to come in Conception Ridge!

The ending is pure schmaltz, but the hopeless romantic in me still enjoyed it.
He kisses her, deeply, and I tangle my hand in his hair, my heart moving outside my body to exist in that embrace with them. Mine.
I nudge her hair out of the way, then drop my mouth to the back of her neck. Mine.
And then they turn, Emily kissing me, Wyatt’s arms holding us firm. Theirs.
The rest will sort itself out. Our love is all that matters.

Another tasty, sexy snack from Chloe Maine and my only “complaint”…I wanted it to be longer! Her first MMF story, but hopefully not her last, explores the serendipitous meeting of co-Ed Emily with coworker friends Heath and Wyatt…who’ve both lusted after Emily since working construction at her dorm.
Heath is older while Wyatt is closer to Emily’s age…but she’s definitely intrigued by them both. Heath tries to step back after getting the two younger adults together, but neither one wants him to leave. But what happens after this weekend of fun and discovery when it’s back to real world?
I’m pretty sure this is my favorite book yet by Ms. Maine. While the story is super hot, I loved the emotions between the characters just as much as the physical interactions. Writing ménage stories that successfully combine the two can be hard, but she nailed it!
Can’t wait to see what she dreams up next!

One of the smoothest stories about a triad I've ever read.
Very tastefully done with a wicked dose of spice.
Heath is older, and Wyatt still in his twenties. Both fall off the charts at the same time over little Emily, A student at the local college.

Surprisingly, the two men don't find jealousy over the girl, but a willingness to share Emily between them. This was delightfully well written for such a challenging subject. Well worth multiple reads.

Awesome Book!!!
I loved reading Cabin Mates!!! All about Emily a twenty year old Senior in college & Heath Taylor a twenty-nine year old manual labor tradesman and Wyatt Dane a forty year old part owner of Construction company that Wyatt works for. Emily is a student at Ridge College in Conception Ridge, CA. Read about Emily, Heath & Wyatt as they lean on each other everyday! This was a page turner, that I could not put down, as the chemistry was just sizzling!!! This is the third book I have read from this author, and she delivers the story line and the heat every time!!! Definite Read!!!!

I had enjoyed father of the bride so figured I'd play around with this one, and it was free on kindle. I'm glad it was free as I didn't really adore it, it was fine, nothing specatuclour, but it was fine to pass time. The will they won't they between the men was a bit annoying I'll be honest. The thropple trope did nothing for me and the whole 'looking after each other' thing felt a bit creepy towards the end, didn't hate it but also not for me. Wouldn't read again but if you want a confusing 3 way will they won't they relationship thing with some good smut then this is for you.
