Freddie
I was a player. Relationships and me never seemed to work out. I was career-driven and focused on my professional goals.
I had no clue how much my life was about to change when he blew into my world. I always thought I was an open book. Unfortunately, there was a secret in my life that could possibly destroy us.
How wrong was I? I was completely unprepared for how much damage one little secret could cause.

Luke
Watching my friends get married, it changed me. For the first time, it made me want to be as happy as they were.
Unfortunately for me, I had no clue that when my forever did turn up, I would push him away. That all the lies and secrets that came between us would do nothing but push me away from him and create a distance that I had no clue how to bridge the gap on.

These two were like gravity… Will they let the lies and secrets continue to come between them or will they be mature enough to stand up and fight for what they want more than anything else.

I’m not usually a reader of same sex romances but I love Lizzie James and C.N Marie’s style of writing so when I heard that they were writing as a duo I knew I had to take a chance.

Boy, am I glad I did!! Freddie and Luke stole my heart. Their chemistry flew of the pages and their healing journey was written in a way that allowed each character to grow, heal and fall in love with each other and themselves. They do say opposites attract and Freddie and Luke for sure are opposites!

As a writing duo, Lizzie and C.N complement each other extremely well and I can’t wait for them to write more together!

But will someone from their joint past break them apart or will both sets of their friends be able to bring them together again. Love Luke and Freddie. Another fab book by C.N.Marie and Lizzie James. This is a great story in which both Freddie and Luke have both had issues and past hurt that have lead them to not want relationships only for them to find what they need in each other to heal. I really enjoyed this story and the surprise connection between them during the story.

This was my first read for not just one but both of these two authors. This story was so heartwarming of a read. The connection that these two fellas have and the growth that they go through together was very well written. The way that they are made for the other just shows through the rocky situation that they go through. But the way that they ultimately are there for the other no matter what happened with their pasts is what truly made me fall in love for the story.

I really like both of these authors, so when I found out they was doing a co write I was excited to read.
This book has our loveable characters from previous books by both authors and have been brought together in this one.
Luke and Freddie are a match made in heaven, or so it seems, but with what life throws at them it ends before it really starts. After dating for a while Luke and Freddie are both devastated by what they find out. Its a heart wrenching read. will love concer all. Its lovely to read about how the other characters are doing, and how they all come together as one.

I loved Freddie and Luke so much. I was worried as I haven’t read all of the books that are connected to these two amazing guys but I had nothing to worry about. Everything was explained and now I want to read more from these two authors.
Freddie and Luke were perfect for each other and the way everything panned out was brilliant.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and hopefully get some more snippets from these two hot fellas.

The Lies of Gravity was a beautiful story of two people, Freddie and Luke, that are perfect for one another. The authors had me hooked right from the start with Freddie running out on his one-night stand and Luke being emotional at his friend's wedding. The story is well written and had its moments where you find yourself feeling all the feels towards the both of them.

Luke and Freddie are, to an extent, two very different people. We see Luke as the matchmaker and wondering if he will ever find the love that his friends all have. Whereas Freddie is the player, one-night stands are the way to go. However that all changes when Luke comes to NY from London, England for his friend's wedding and stays. He gets a job at a hotel and that is where he meets Freddie. There is an instant attraction on both sides, but will the player change his ways? Freddie invades Luke's thoughts and he wants to see if there could be something. Freddie's thinking changes after a night together but for some reason, he still runs. Can Freddie let his heart feel and not want to run? Will the connection that he feels towards Luke be stronger than the one that has him scared? When a tragedy from the past comes to light, they are both affected. How can this be when they live an ocean apart? Will they be able to get past what happened?

Their chemistry is hot and beautiful. The way that they care for one another is what everyone in a relationship would love to have. Their friends also see the chemistry and the love that they have for each other and get involved. I love how close Luke and Freddie are with their friends that they are considered family.

I recommend picking up this book and a cozy spot to read it as you will want to finish it in one sitting. I cannot wait for the next installment in the series.

This is the first book I have read by both authors. One is new to me the other her books have been on my TBR for a while. The Lies of Gravity is the first book in the new 'Lost in Between' series which I can't wait to read the upcoming books. The authors have written an emotive story that will pull you into the emotional yet heartwarming journey of Freddie and Luke. I loved Freddie and Luke so much.

Luke came to the states for his best friend’s wedding and decided to travel the USA. He went to New York got a job as bartender at a hotel and that is where he meets Freddie. There is an instant attraction on both sides but will the player change his ways? Freddie invades Luke's thoughts and he wants to see if there could be something.

Highly recommend this book. I can't wait for the next book 'The Sins of Silence' coming in August which is Isobel and Christopher's story.

A fantastic read!! Freddie and Luke were both players until they met and started to think differently. Luke came to America when his best friends get married and decides to stick around for a while. He gets a job bartending where he meets Freddie. Freddie works at the same hotel where Luke is tending bar. This story is a highly charged emotional, it’ll leave you hot and bothered one minute and the next you’ll be crying. Freddie doesn’t do relationships but for the first time he wants one when he meets Luke. Luke is a one and done kind of guy but he’s willing to change his rules for Freddie. The story line was well thought out and executed perfectly. The characters were complex with multilayered depth and very well written. The story grabbed me and kept me enraptured, I couldn’t stop turning the pages.

I had already read C.N. Marie’s Stocks and Lies and loved all of her other characters. I have not read Lizzie James’ previous book but I definitely will now. Freddie and Luke are so cute together. I love the families that they have created for themselves in their friends and I love how protective those families are of each of the boys. I loved that the authors portrayed the real fears of the boys about their relationship and it’s time limit. The connection to Stocks and Lies shocked me, but I absolutely loved how that played out. My favorite part was the reconnection and all their friends had a hand in it and it was absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to see what happens between Isobel and Christopher. If you like MM books I recommend this one.

First time reading MM and a book by these two amazing authors. What an amazing book, it had me hooked, I loved all the characters and how it showed not only the main character POV but 2 additional ones. It has alot of emotions throughout.

Freddie and Luke are typical homosexual men, after certain events in both of their lives, they are one night stand guys until they find each other. Will it all go smoothly or are they destined to be one night only? You'll need to devour this amazing story to find out, it's worth it.

Highly recommend this book and both authors. I now need to go read the other books from this universe. I also love the close friendships shown in the story, shows reality scenarios.

This was a fantastic story, and I loved the tie-in with Stocks and Lies! This was a wonderful story of Freddie and Luke and moving beyond their past to find future happiness together. Freddie is the player, with his own reasons for not getting attached, and Luke is the matchmaker who doesn't get to close. These two have instant chemistry they just need to overcome past lies and a history taht is affecting their futures. This was a lovely story and I absolutely loved the group of chosen family they have to support them and bring them back together. I loved this story and can't wait to read more from each of these authors!

Oh My GOOOOOOD!!!
I'll start saying I'm a huge fan of both the authors so you can imagine how thrilled I was when they announced their collaboration. When you put gasoline and fire together, it explodes, and that's what this book is: an explosion of emotions and feelings.
Luke and Freddie...Holy cow! I loved the hard path the authors built for them and how they managed to fight until the end.
Absolutely fantastic read but now I want more!

After coming to the US for a wedding, Luke meets Freddie. The instant attraction for both but can one guy who is a player settle down with a one man guy? Sweet, low angst, hot at times read is one that will have you smiling when you reach the ending. Now I need to go back and read the others in this series by C N Marie and Lizzie James.

Its not often I read same sex romances but this one captured me. Freddie and Luke have a way of drawing you in whilst you are turning the pages .
These ladies C.N.Marie and Lizzie James certainly captured the chemistry between these two as it was sizzling to read.

Both men have issues from the past which leads to them being nervous to enter into any sort of relationship now.Until they find each other and become at one with not only themselves but each other.

Really enjoyed this book ladies.

Freddie and Luke what a pair; I wanted to have stern talk with either and both of them and at times I just wanted to cuddle them. Luckily they found that support with all their friends.
The authors created a read with a lot of emotions and well developed characters.

The Lies of Gravity is a quick MM romance read. Luke is visiting from London for the wedding of a friend. He is a bit at odds and feels the need to kick around for a while. He has some idea that he will travel the States getting part-time jobs to sustain him while scoping out new ideas for his restaurant/pub back home. He lands in NYC and immediately finds a place where he could fit, at least until it is time to go home.

Freddie is a playboy, not take anything too seriously kind of guy. He has a great job in reception at a NY hotel and good friends that try to push him out of his comfort zone a bit. He isn’t looking for anything more than a good time and his attraction to Luke, with its built-in time limit seems the perfect way to spend some time. Neither of them is prepared for the feelings they are about to unleash on one another.

I think these men are made for each other and I definitely feel for each of them as they work on their prior issues. My favorite trope is that of the found family, which this story has in spades. The secondary characters add all the spice and seasoning to keep this story moving forward in interesting ways. I am looking forward to the next book, The Sins of Silence.
