Saving a lost soul doesn’t absolve a demon of his sins.
Arden’s hands are stained red and one day his past will finally catch up and devour him. Until then he will keep trying to do some type of good in the world even if it will never right his wrongs.
Run his bar, take in lost souls, and stay focused on a semi-peaceful existence. That’s all he needs to do.
But life is never that simple.
When Arden’s past comes back to haunt him he’s forced to acknowledge that those closest to him, the hosts that are strictly off limits, are in danger. He’s not supposed to have them, but he’ll be damned if he lets anyone else take them away.
What happens when Arden becomes the devil he’s left behind to keep his men?
Dragon Boss is an MMMMMM romance featuring a dragon with a dark past, a nephilim with a secret, a cat familiar who keeps climbing into Arden’s bed, a witch who desires a home, a bear who needs to find his strength and a vampire that keeps them all together. Dragon Boss has no cliff-hanger and ends on a well-deserved and hard fought HEA.

(pnr, contemporary, fantasy, erotica, romance, shifter mpreg, & rh) There will be a book for everyone. Insanity is Contagious. Brea Alepoú
An action packed paranormal romance adventure that’s not to be missed.
Arden is a dragon shifter who simply wants to run his bar and take care of his employees. He wants to have humans not fear paranormal beings. Using his Night club he creates fantasies that allow both humans and paranormal’s to interact together. An entire cast of characters work at the club. The one rule is you never ask about someone’s past. You only worry about their present. Arden takes in lost souls and gives them a place to live, a job and a chance for a better life. When his old life comes back to haunt him in more ways than one, he has to admit that some of his employees are more than just employees to him.
This has all the action and adventure you would expect from these two amazing writers. The characters are well developed world building will have you living in the universe they create. You can’t help but get drawn into the stories of the characters and crave more.
This can be read as a standalone, but you will want to read the previous novel in the series as some of the characters are mentioned in this novel. And of course the dragon boss is in both novels but this one is his story!
This book is a follow up to the story “Mafia Prince” and features characters from that first book. Arden is a big growling dragon who runs the club that Spooky, Micha, Eldon Gamble and Bash work at. All of them are damaged souls that Arden has taken in to help. This book has lots of action, adventure, love, fun and six hearts that all need each other even with all the complications in the way. I applaud Brea Alepou and Wren Snow for making sure that all of these characters were so distinct and interesting. I had no trouble keeping track of who was who which is something that I struggle with in some other books. To keep track of this many characters in relationships with each other that change is something that must have been difficult to write. I enjoyed this story a lot and I hope for more books in this series. Enjoy
Honestly, I picked this up for a light read for an evening. Not even expecting to finish the book. How shocked was I when I couldn't put it down and read almost the whole thing straight through. I don't think I've ever seen 617pages so well paced. At no point was I bored or did my mind wander. Each and every one of these characters was unique, wonderful, adorable, heart touching, funny, and perfect.
The few times I've read MMMM+ I usually get annoyed with the jumbled mass of limbs and dicks jousting about during sex scenes. Not here- there were only a few sex scenes where everyone was all over each other. Usually, when they were all together, there were duos or trios who swapped partners. Which brings up another thing I absolutely love about this book - everyone fell in love with each other! Not just Arden. It was so heart warming to watch six characters each fall in love with five others.
Romance, hurt-comfort, guilt, all the pnr, healing, laughs, so much sexiness, and a dragon battle. What more could you ask for in a book??
I think these two authors are trying to kill me. I love big growly Arden. I have ever since the first book. And don’t get me started on everyone else. Spooky, Bash, Eldon, Micha, and Gamble all have their pasts and secrets and all need help. No one is better at that than Arden. And woah. From the first page this story just doesn’t let go but pulls you through at breakneck speed. My heart hurts for these guys. Arden deserves all the good things, which includes the connection to the other five men. I want to see more stories about PGD with Arden and his mates at the helm.
The pawn!!! This was a lot!!! A whole heck of a lot, and my emotions are off the charts. I found it upsetting how "the savior" kept guilting and manipulating Micha to do his bidding everytime he wavered because of his feelings for Arden. You can see and feel Micha's integrity everytime he struggles with his conscience to carry out " the savior's" demands. Gutwrenching. It was a great feeling seeing evil get their just deserts. A rollercoaster of emotions!!
First, this book is really long. As it should be, considering there is six main characters.
The good- it’s just a really good story overall with plenty of sexy times that do not take away from story times. The plot is well developed and fully completed. No plot holes (as far as I could tell). The characters stay true to their descriptions throughout. And they are really fleshed out. Overall, this is a story I would read again, even with it being so long. It’s worth the time.
The maybe not good, depending on your plot device dislikes- a major point of this plot is continued on because one character who could help fix everything by speaking up…just doesn’t. And it’s not because he doesn’t know speaking up would fix it, it’s because he’s afraid they will hate him if they know he knows. But they are always going to find out he knew so …I feel like it’s relied on too heavily. Especially when all the characters from both “sides” come together and…he still doesn’t speak up. I’m a little sensitive to this plot device right now because it’s popped up in a few books lately, so I’m adding a little heads up.
I received an ARC of Dragon Boss. I was really looking forward to Arden’s story and it was so good. Well worth the wait. I will just tell you right off the bat that Spooky and Eldon were without a doubt my favorite characters throughout the whole book. They were the glue in this group and their personalities just really drew me in. And that one scene in the back of the SUV was 🔥. The dynamics of all of these men together were so well tethered together by the authors. Each had their own dynamic and their own special connection. I got to know each of them and some of their backstory, which made me understand them all even more. I struggled to like one particular character, but toward the end he won me over. I loved this book and everything in it. I can’t wait to see if there is more to tell.
I knew that when we finally got Arden’s story it was going to be sooooo good!! I loved this! I loved how Arden’s walls were finally coming down and how Spooky was the first one pass those walls. I adore Spooky soooo much! Sweet Micha and his blue and pink wings…he broke my heart and I just wanted to hug him so hard! Gamble, Bash, and Eldon all had their own charms about them and I love them all!
What I really loved about this story was that each other’s pasts weren’t completely forgiven and forgotten or even just made better by love but that they were looked at as things to remember and do better for the future. Bad things happen, even when it was meant to make things better like in war. I just like that it wasn’t glossed over and easily forgiven.
I had a problem with this book. I couldn't decide if I wanted to devour it all or try and read it slowly. Nonetheless, I couldn't put this book down. I've been looking forward to this book, and it didn't disappoint.
All the characters brought something different to the table and fit together in their own way. I liked what this story brought, and my heart ached for all the characters at one point or another as they are trying to work through their issues. Writing a story with 6 characters is no easy task; the authors do a great job.
This is a long story, and I'm happy because anything shorter would have been a disgrace and rushed. This pacing was great and adds some steamy scenes for a great book.
I have such a love/hate relationship with this author. I loved the first book in this series and I was really sad to see all those characters up and leave Arden at the beginning.
There was a lot about this story that worked for me but ultimately there was way too much going on between all the characters. Something that the first book did right was have one character be the central point in the whole harem. I think the author tried to do that with this story, the center point being Arden with the whole dragon mates thing but I honestly think Micha would have made a better center as everyone else felt this deep routed desire to care for him. The book was FULL of errors and spelling issues and approximately 200 pages too long.
A lot of fun and thought provoking too. This mmmmmm book has all the smexy times and we get more of Arden and a few more characters we meet in book 1. You don't have to have read Mafia Prince to enjoy this one but it will give you an intro to many of the men in Dragon Boss. But what I thought made this book so good was the depth that we get with the characters. This is not just a smexy romp. These characters have some really rough issues to deal with as a group, some of which don't have easy solutions. This is not a book about perfect people but they do try to be better for their loved ones.
Fun, fun, fun! I always knew there was more to Arden and of course he needs not one but five mates to show him how amazing he is. “They were his greatest hoard. Not money, or gold, or jewels. Each and every one of them was the thing that was closest to his heart, the objects of his undying affection.” Really, they all are treasured and make each other better. I refuse to choose a favorite because I love them all for their differences. Bash, Eldon, Gramble, Spooky, Micha, and Arden have electrifying chemistry and I admit I’m jealous of all the cuddles happening. I do know that whatever is next for PGD will be full of sinfully delicious delights.
Whew, that was a long one! It didn't *feel* too long because there wasn't a huge amount of plot it just took a nice and slow approach to introducing the characters and their dynamics. This worked because getting to know such a huge cast seemed daunting but it was easy, actually.
I'm gonna nitpick and say that italicized inner thoughts should be written in first-person, otherwise there's no reason to italicize them.
This book is erotica, if you are looking for a more full-fledged romantic fantasy then you might look elsewhere in the authors' catalogues. If you like lotsa monsterf*ck*ng then this one is well worth it.
Oh yes I've been waiting for this since reading mafia prince which was fantastic love all those guys and knowing Arden was getting is own story did it for me he's a big grouchy Dragon who's unable to stay away from is mates who are all unique and special there's Gamble, Spooky, Micha, Eldon and Bash all hurting, lonely in need of family and more love and together with Arden they find that despite the past catching up with them the secrets and lies simply brilliant can't recommend enough waiting for next in series. 💚
Dragon Boss is a dark poly paranormal romance and I just loved the book. There are five paranormal characters that all fall in love together with a dragon and it just works. The characters are all diverse in personalities and species and the overall story is great. The book was really well written and the world created for the book is diverse and really mind-blowing. Overall an excellent read and a good second book in this series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was incredible! These characters were all emotionally or physically fractured in some way by their pasts, but by finding each other, they found what they didn't know they were missing. Kudos to the authors of this book for being able to keep 6 main characters so interesting that I could hardly put this book down to sleep or go to work! This book pulled on my heartstrings. I felt so much for all the struggles that each person was facing. The bonds that formed between these men were intense, passionate, and life changing. I highly recommend this book!
Lots of spice. Lots of MMM+, but not so much on the development of a relationship between the characters. I enjoyed what was there, but wanted more. The backstabber was almost forgiven too easily for me, throwing this into the realm of insta-love. I really wanted a little more back story on all the characters, I feel like so much was missed. I'm sort of sad, because this is the first Brea Alepou book that I wasn't immediately enraptured with. It's worth the read for sure, it just wasn't as satisfying as most of her other works are.
I thought I wouldn´t love a poly more than I loved Porter and his men, but boy was I wrong! Two chapters in and I was a goner for Arden and his men, especially crybaby Micha. I cried with him and just wanted to hug him and wrap him in a safe love bubble so he would be nothing but happy. I specially loved the fact that none of them were perfect or just good all the time. They all had baggage and a past and complications that made them all so relatable. I just loved this book and hope there´s more to this series.
Dragon Boss has all the elements I want for an engaging read. Interesting, well-rounded characters That I can relate to; A well-developed world that makes sense; and a plot that is well supported, but not predictable. The final element for me was the development of the poly group. It was not a simple "we're mates - we're a group" but more of a series of encounters and events where the group developed and then there was the moment it came together. Was the betrayal forgiven too easily? I don't think easy was any part of it, but that is my opinion.
Wow! It’s finally here and it’s so worth the wait! As soon as I got this book, I started it and after 600 pages, I have a major book hangover. These two authors putting me through the ringer with this book and I will always come back for more. Arden and his men were perfect for each other; yes, they have so ups and downs and bumps, and a lot of drama but they get an awesome and much needed HEA. I could not put this book down; I even reread it and fell even more in love with these men. I would highly recommend this book, this series, and these two truly gifted and amazing authors.
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Wow, this book was intense. There was a lot going that you wouldn't expect. Arden definitely had a few surprises I wasn't expecting. All of the characters are dealing with past hurts and just want a place to belong. I wish we had a little more of a back story with Bash though. Like, we knew what happened to him in a general sense from the last book, but I would have liked for it to have been explained more. I absolutely loved the longer length and am hoping for more longer ones like this.
Six men who believe themselves broken by life, become lovers. And finally, found family. There's plenty of tropes. Boss/workers. Enemies to lovers. Grumpy/sunshine. And there's a theme, a thread, that runs through it all. The power of love to forgive. A beautiful, hot smexy, book. So powerful. So well written. Very absorbing. And along with the angsty, will-they-make-it nailbiting, there's beauty and laughter. Well worth the wait.
I’ve been waiting for this one since I finished reading the arc of book one. I was not disappointed. Also, finding out what Arden is packing… 😳 😮 🫣 🤫 let me tell you, there was a record scratch and a “Wait… what? Did he just say… (redacted)” You’ll have to read it to find out what he has.
Highly recommend.
Can be read as a stand-alone but much better read in order.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review. I also bought a forever copy.
This book gives lots of angsty vibes. But it’s so spicy and well written. I thought that the change in POV was well done chapter to chapter. It wasn’t hard to focus on who was the “speaker” so to say. The drama and the buildup to everything was good. Scenes were well written and I’m glad we had the followup at the ending. The little crossovers from book 1 were nice. I do hope there’s more in this universe, because this author writes well.
I didn't give it a rating but...I'm sorry this is the 3rd time I try to read something from this author and I just can't like the way they writte smut scenes and romances at all. The romance is always fast paced and I guess that is fine but I don't enjoy it personaly, and The smut scenes have this thing that wherever it is going on the character has to have a whole as monologue in their heads and that is not it for me, if it was only one monologue fine, but is a whole as flashback, mental apologize and etc.
No spoilers of any kind included. So all I’m going to say about Dragon Boss is that I thought it was amazing and I’m going to leave it at that otherwise I’ll be giving away spoilers. So it’s a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book because I really enjoyed reading it and I think you will too.
Loved this book. If you like your paranormal on the darker side but still love your sweet scenes and the HEA this is for you. I cried so much in this book and at 1 point I wanted to contact the author for some emotional support lol It really is amazing and any lover of MM+ paranormal will love this
