Another exciting story in the Little Rock RBMC! The story is fast paced and well written. I love Carnage and Ruby, how they are together as well as how he softened (just a tiny bit, lol) after being around her. Its a bit of a slow burn because there are just so many things going on, but the chemistry between the two of them is fantastic! Overall, a great addition to the series and I can't wait to read Lilly's story!
Carnage is the third book in the Little Rock RBMC chapter and can be read as a standalone. It is told in first person from dual perspectives.

Ezekiel AKA Carnage is a loner compared to his motorcycle club brothers.
He’s a nomad, never staying in one place or club. He gets called for the especially brutal jobs for the MC.
He finds himself in a really bad situation and gets help from a surprising source- Ruby. She’s very complex and has some big secrets.
Together they burn and go on an eventful and action packed journey.
I really liked that she had her secrets and what they cause as they come to light.
I loved that he was much more emotional and kind to her than I expected from someone nicknamed Carnage… it’s his nickname for a reason.
They both are full of surprises and they are really entertaining together.
This author does dark and hot, sexy chemistry so well.
I loved the cameo appearances of characters from other author’s books in this series of stand-alone’s (Misty Walker’s and K. Webster’s)
It’s a really action packed, gritty read with a side of surprising romance. Hot and sexy, too ;)

Welcome back the Little Rock RBMC chapter! Carnage is who you call to…ahem, take care of things. When Ezekiel “Carnage” Ford is taken by one of the MC’s enemies an unusual rescue comes his way. Not a brother but a petite spitfire of a girl named Ruby. She is trouble but can that stop Carnage from jumping in the flame to save her? Can he find the rat within the MC at the same time? This is another dark and gritty MC stand-alone within the series. This is not for the weak of heart as it is quite graphic but if you love action and a raw dark romance with some comic relief in all the right spots you’re gonna love it! I could not put this one down. Carnage and Ruby are fire together! A must read of 2021! Told in dual POV

Carnage is an awesome ride! Dark and violence, heart and hope this story has a bit of everything. I really loved Carnage as he is a dark and brutal and violent man and just the kind of MC brother I want in my corner if I am ever in trouble. Ruby is not too shabby herself; she is a strong woman with heart (even if it is misplaced at times); and their romance is hot and fast! There is a great balance of romance, action, violence, and family issues all tied together with a cut and heat. I really enjoyed this fast-paced story and think it is a wonderful addition to the Little Rock series and the Royal B*stards MC series as well.

This had me on a wild ride. Carnage is well...carnage. This is dark and gritty and intense but sweet, funny, and steamy. Carnage and Ruby are hot together and the story itself had me unable to put this down.

Something missing
There were things about this story that I really liked. I loved that Ruby loved so hard. I loved her loyalty to the MC. I liked Carnage although in the beginning I wasn't sure. There were a lot more issues with this story, editorially speaking, than the first two books. Not sure I will read more by this author.

I liked the characters but felt that I needed more back story on Carnage. there were parts that were glossed over, other than that its as OK.

I am going to tell you to buckle up. But I do not even know if that's enough for you to have as protection going into this book. This is the story of Carnage and he is a loner if there has ever been one. He is a nomad and never stays in one place or club for very long at all. He gets called in when the job is really brutal and he thrives on that. When he finds himself being tortured he is saved by of all things woman named Ruby. Now if you love complex and complicated characters you are going to love her. I don't think anyone in the world could ever figure this girl all the way out. Together these two are going to burn the world down and it is one adventure you do not want to miss. This book will keep you one your toes and the edge of your seat. I had to take breaks to breathe at times it got so intense. I loved every single second of it and did not want it to ever end.

***5 ‘I’ve Never Been Able to Understand Other Human Beings’ Stars***
Things are never simple when it comes to RBMC and boy does the title of the book totally fit all that happens in this one and more….and well, I really want and need more of this chapter (thankfully, we will)
Carnage and Ruby. I loved these two. Ruby is a spitfire w/ a soft heart. I’ll admit that there were times I wanted to shake some sense into her, but I have to say that the girl does stick to her guns. Carnage aka Ezekiel is my kind of dark knight...very dark with a very black and white POV of humanity. But still, the man is lethal in every way. As for their HEA. It’s all kinds of insta, but it worked for me. There were no mind games, no push/pull. It was You’re mine, I’m yours, and done. But yes, they talked. They saw each other's demons and found that they played well together.
This was a quick read and a lot ends up going on, and down, in it. There are a few triggers, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise at all. As for the supporting cast of characters, it was fun catch up with Rage, Animal, Grim, their women as well as a few members from another of my fav RBMC chapter. As for Lily, I’m definitely looking forward to getting a deeper look inside her head.

Ezekiel Ford is known as Carnage, because he creates carnage whenever he is needed. He is a brother of the Royal Bastards but goes where ever he is needed, more nomad than not. After receiving a message to meet at a bar with one drink he knows he's been set up.
Ruby shouldn't care about her mom seeing as her mother has never cared about her but when she needs to pay off her Mom's debt she unexpectedly finds herself serving a drink in a bar to a brother of the Royal Bastards.
Ruby and Ezekiel find themselves saving each other in the most unexpected of ways. The sparks were instantaneous and so explosive. I loved everything about this read. I love getting a glimpse of the RBMC and past characters anyway I can is always a plus for me. I can't wait to see where else this MC can go.

I'm not going to beat around the bush, this awesome story has some triggers that less dark folks would appreciate so keep that in mind. Carnage is the guy his MC calls to deal with individuals who need to be taken care of in painful ways, and it's this reason that he found himself in the middle of some things that ended with him being tortured himself. Ruby is a girl whose mother is terrible but she keeps bailing her out, which is how she found herself in the middle of things that she never should have been involved with. She's the one who got Carnage to drink something he should have never touched, but once she figured things out, she went back & rescued him despite the fact that it put her in a lot of danger. The journey from there is very exciting with a lot of twists coming in hot, so I was on the edge of my seat the whole time feeling like I was in middle of all the chaos as well LOL! I loved Ruby & Carnage, but I have to be honest, I CANNOT WAIT for Ruby's sister to get her story because that little girl is bad to the bone LOL! Anway, I can't say enough how much I loved this story & HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a really great book...it has a bit of everything you could want in a MC series. Kept my attention from the very first chapter.
Ruby is yet again having to save her no good druggie mother. She shouldn't but she still has a soft heart for her. To buy time to come up with the money to pay off her debt all she is asked to do is to a nasty bar and serve one drink to a stranger. Too late she realized he was a Royal Bastard.
Ezekiel or Carnage to his brothers is basically a nomad who is called in for the most gruesome of jobs. He gets a call for a meet at a nasty bar and while waiting a beautiful woman comes in to work and she brings him a shot glass. He drinks it and realized he was drugged...set up.
Ruby feels guilty and helps him but if anything can go wrong it seems to go wrong while they are in hiding. So much action and add in a dash of mystery... you've got a fantastic book.

This one could've been easily a five stars if only the author worked on the romantic part!!!!!!!
i loved how they meet, how they get close, how they lusted for each other BUT then all around them was more important, mess after mess and our pour couple was in the background grrrr

Wowza! Ker Dukey has done it yet again, not that I'm actually surprised. I was hooked right from the very start and it had me on the edge of my seat right up until the end. It was dark, twisted, hot and beyond thrilling.

Awesome storyline, but needs editing
This is the third story in the Royal Bastards MC (RBMC) series by Ker Dukey. I love that various authors have come together in one universe to create various series that sometimes cross over. So far, each has been a stand-alone that would be better if read in publication date order for that particular series. Which is how I recommend they be read, as each series will have reoccurring characters, concurrent and consecutive timelines and overarching themes.
** One thing each of these stories / series share is dark themes that may be difficult for sensitive readers. A high-level list is included below. **
I’m not sure why, but I thought Rage’s sisters were a lot younger. Regardless, this story features Ruby and Carnage, aka Ezekiel, a nomad brother that is contacted when certain ‘jobs’ need to be completed.
Ruby has been bailing her mother out of tight spots with her dealer since she was a teenager and hiding it from her half-brother, Rage. Her mother is a horrible person without any redeeming qualities, but Ruby is still protective. Unfortunately, her mom has gotten in deeper than Ruby can cover this time, so to protect her, she has to do a favor for them and deliver a drink to a biker in a dive bar.
Carnage goes to Animal’s custom helmet shop and picks up an envelop with a name. He completes the job as requested and made it hurt. Then he gets a message to meet a fellow RBMC brother in a bar. He gets there and waits. It isn’t long before a blonde bombshell walks in, goes over to the bar, gets a shot and brings it over to him. She tells him that he shouldn’t have come, but before she can say anything else, he drinks the shot and quickly realizes it has been drugged …
There are a lot of grammatical issues throughout the story, that is why I couldn’t give this a higher rating. Every time I would get engaged into the story, there would be another error that would disrupt me. I highly recommend this story be proofread and updated. I uploaded my comments to goodreads for anyone interested. I mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow and visualization.

Ezekiel Ford is known as Carnage, because he creates carnage whenever he is needed. He is a brother of the Royal Bastards but goes wherever he is needed, more nomad than not. After receiving a message to meet at a bar, with one drink he knows he's been set up.
Ruby shouldn't care about her mom seeing as her mother has never cared about her, but when she needs to pay off her mom's debt, she unexpectedly finds herself serving a drink in a bar to a brother of the Royal Bastards.
Ruby and Ezekiel find themselves saving each other in the most unexpected of ways. The sparks were instantaneous and so explosive. I loved everything about this read. I love getting a glimpse of the Royal Bastards MC and past characters anyway I can, it is always a plus for me. I can't wait to see where else this MC can go.

Ruby is Jameson's sister, who's in the Royal Bastards MC in Little Rock, AR. She's strong, sassy and has a big heart. Her mother is a junky who repeatedly calls her to get herself out of trouble, putting her in the sights of evil men.
Ruby's latest attempt to save her mother winds up putting a brother in danger. She has no idea the consequences of her actions would endanger a brother. She has no idea that man she's about to rescue is going to change her world.
Carnage has vengeance planned, he has to figure out what's drawing him to this strange woman with an evil mother, who the rat is in the club and the man who tortured him, to begin the carnage.
Dukey holds nothing back telling Carnage and Ruby's story. Expect action, blood, torture and heat that will melt your pants off. Needless to say, the content may be difficult for some readers, read at your own discretion.

This book is part of the Royal Bastards MC collection. It is the third book in for the Little Rock, AR chapter. Carnage is who the club calls when they need someone taken care of. He is a nomad. But when he is set up by a rat in the Little Rock chapter his life takes a turn. Ruby’s mom has once again pulled her into her crap. Her mom owes her dealer a lot of money and now she expects Ruby to take of it. Only this time he wants more than money. He needs her to meet with a guy. Only after she gets there does she realize the guy is part of her brother’s club. Ruby is going to figure out how to help him. Ruby and Carnage have an instant connection. Ruby hasn’t told her brother about things with her mother. But now she will have to. Someone is after the club. Will Carnage and the club need to figure out who and why is after the club. Will they be able to before the girls get hurt? How will Ruby’s brother react to her and Carnage? I loved this book. Carnage and Ruby have an instant connection and he would kill for her. She brings out a different side of him that only she really gets to see. To everyone else he is just a killing machine. Ruby’s sister, Lily is also in this book. Something is definitely going on with her. Lily is a lot like Carnage. I can’t wait to read about Lily. These characters are great. They would kill for their women. Once they find their woman, they don’t want anyone else. Wonderful job Ker.

Carnage and Ruby ***
This dark romance was actually a pretty sweet story. Don’t get me wrong it was dark and violent too but the chemistry between Carnage and Ruby was amazing. Ruby has secrets, secrets she’s kept from everyone that are getting her into trouble. Carnage is a nomad that has definitely found his match. I loved the plot and characters in this book. I also loved getting little bits of Lily, and I have questions. I want more of Carnage and Ruby though. I feel like they could use a second book but that’s probably just because I would more steam with them.

Excellent
Ker Dukey does such a wonderful job writing these characters. Carnage is a sight to be hold and man to fear. He does the clubs dirty work. Ruby has never been loved except for her brother Jameson. Her mother makes her pay off her drug debts. The latest debt her mother owes is too much for Ruby and now she has to serve this one drink to this one guy. She agrees and serves it to him but regrets it when she notices his club colors. She makes a conscious decision to help him and from then on the rest is history.

Fantastic Read
Carnage is absolutely fantastic read!
Ezekiel/Carnage is a nomad and comes in when particularly specific things need to be handled. Ruby is Jameson's sister and she finds herself in a particularly bad situation. These two meet under less than desirable circumstances. Ruby trying to help her mother inadvertently drags Carnage into the trouble. Then of course in true Bastard fashion all of this trouble and then some lands at clubhouse steps. Carnage and Ruby's story has a bit of everything in it and is one he*luva ride!

Yep - CARNAGE all right. Dark M/C suspense with a slow burn romance, lots of blood and uncomfortable murder/torture scenes. Not for the faint of heart, but I had to keep reading until I finished. It's probably a good idea to read this series from the beginning, as previous characters appear and it fleshes out the MC world in which this book is set. The main story and the romance is a stand alone. (Only negative - there were some small typos). 4.5 stars.

I loved Ruby! Talk about a strong woman who doesn't know her strength only to have herself tested! Oh, let's not start on Carnage! That man is straight up ALPHA no matter how you spin it! This addition to the Little Rock Chapter of the RBMC is phenomenal! This is so good; Ker knows how to spin and weave a tale that keeps you on the edge. Drama, blood, pain, love and so much more! Get Miss Dukey if you miss her, you are sorely missing out!

One thing you don't do, is go against a Royal Bastard or mess with his family/woman. There's plenty of action, betrayal, brotherhood, surprises and sisters. Lily and Ruby are sisters but the exact opposite. Lily is more like her brother Jameson. Ruby wants to help her druggy mom, not that she wants helping, she just uses. One mistake almost costs Carnage (EZ) his life, but Ruby steps in to right a mistake. HEA.

I kept stopping and saying to myself “wow” “this is amazing” “who wrote this?!” Like I was really transported away and knew nothing but this book while I was reading it.
Carnage aka Ezekiel is what I’m looking for in an MC Romance. Ruby was good at getting in trouble, but didn’t forget who she was or her loyalty to the club. Great action packed story. The sexual tension between the two characters is palpable.

Holy moly!! I could not put this book down! Ruby and Carnage have a connection, even if the initial one was not a great one!! He will stop at nothing to keep her safe!
