New beginnings, love, sugary sweets, and forgiveness. Love Conquers all.

She thought she would only write contemporary at first but soon found her love for making worlds. So now she writes it all. (pnr, contemporary, fantasy, erotica, romance, shifter mpreg, & rh) There will be a book for everyone. Insanity is Contagious. Brea Alepoú
Loved this story, filled with old friends and new!
A great wrap up for an incredible series! So much fun, sweetness and love. Really enjoyed this book... proofreading and editing could have been better, but luckily the mistakes only happened infrequently... though enough to be slightly annoying.
By far my least favorite book in the series, and this was MAJORLY due to the lack of story editing. There were so many times that Cole was Clyde and Clyde was Cole and sometimes Cole was even a random name that began with C. It was just so bad and took me out of the story so much that I never really truly sunk into it.
Then there is the romance, talk about an age-gap romance, Cole is in his 20s and Amos is pushing 50. I don't like that their budding romance starts with a one-night stand that quickly has Amos fleeing the scene and fleeing Cole. The whole purpose of Amos behaving the way he does is that something happened when he was younger but we never find out what that was. So we basically learn that Amos has been carrying around some heavy trauma for 30 some years and then Cole appears, and all his problems go away.
The whole dynamic early in their relationship was weird. Cole practically stalks Amos but Amos repetitively makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with the man. Then it was navigating around the awkward one night stand and Amos adamantly refusing to admit that he and Cole are fated mates. It took way too long in the series for them to get back to the Bliss Pride and even less time for Amos to reunite with his brother. At that point we don't get any details, everything felt rushed and all I was left was feeling disappointed.
I just need closure, I need to find out what makes these characters tick and this story desperately lacked that. Then there is the whole PI business which has been on life support since everyone suddenly mated up...how is the pride financially supporting itself and all these children? There were just a lot of little details that weren't mentioned or that were overlooked and as a reader, when I get to the last book of a series, I want closure on every little thing.
Can it get any better than the goofy and sunshiny Cole and the adorable grump Amos?! This one blew me away, just like the rest of Unexpected Mates series. I love Bliss Pride. These guys are so amazing and Cole finally gets his happy ending with his true mate. Amos may want to deny it at first but no one can’t deny Cole what he wants for very long, especially with the pull towards the younger man that Amos is feeling. I adored this book so much! Amos may think he is broken, but all he needs is his mate and the strong feeling of family that only Bliss Pride can give. If you haven’t read the rest of this series, it will mess you up a little with the references to the rest of Bliss, but it can be read alone. You will just enjoy it more in order and why pass up the awesomeness that is this found family?!
I can’t believe this is the last book in the series!
Cole made me laugh - I was rooting for him all the way when he was trying to get his mate to give them a chance. He was full of energy and ready to go at ungodly hours - I felt sorry for Amos getting woken up at 6am everyday - rather him than me!
Amos was one grumpy tiger who seriously needed laughter, love and happiness in his life. Cole definitely kept Amos on his toes.
Great book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to Lore’s story and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for him.
*I voluntarily read this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*
This was a very sweet ending to the story of the Bliss Pack! Cole is the last one to be unmated in the pack and so he jumps at a job that goes out on the road to get away for awhile and hopefully get over his jealousy. Unexpectedly he meets his mate one night and it turns out to be connected to the job. Now he just had to convince his mate of it.
After some of the stressful situations the other members went through, Cole and Amos's story was relatively low angst. There is no rejection (or perhaps rejection a little too late) and the two do surprisingly good at working at communicating. Cole is persistent, but not to a person who doesn't want him, just to a person who is afraid. Amos is initially resistant to being with Cole not for himself, but because he worries that he will ruin Cole's life. As the two.get together and it becomes clear that Cole is not dragged down by Amos, and Amos can be himself around Cole, it makes it easy for them to get together.
The only surprising thing that kept this book from feeling completely resolved was in Amos's past. Much like other characters he had left his pack for an incident in the past that we learn about at the beginning. However, when Cole meets Amos, Amos says there was something more that happened in the woods, something that made him angry all the time, and he doesn't remember what. This felt significant, like it needed to be explored or explained. Instead, since Amos isn't angry anymore, it is ignored. This is as a bit surprising as usually these plot lines aren't left hanging, but at the same time this couple was more about the future than the past, so it mostly worked out.
A sweet story and a good ending to this series but it certainly wasn't without its problems. I have to honestly say I'm very surprised how many mistakes there were. The one that frustrated me the most was the problem with getting names right. So many times Cole was Clyde and vise versa, there were a few times a totally different name was used, someone that didn't belong to this series at all. I don't get how this got passed an editor and proofreader. I fully understand mistakes happen, I really do, but when they take me out of the story it takes away from the pleasure of reading it.
Overall, it wasn't a bad story but with a few tweaks it could have been a really good one.
QUICK THOUGHTS -- Easy read -- Lynx/Tiger shifter pairing -- grumpy/sunshine MCs -- true mates -- age difference (20 ish years) -- some sweet moments -- great chosen family -- made me chuckle -- was expecting drama in this one and there wasn't any -- some of the sex scenes felt like story filler -- really liked the MCs... Cole & Amos -- satisfying ending -- a lot of writing errors (wrong name, wrong word etc) -- characters from previous books play a smaller role in this story -- NOT a stand alone -- if this wasn't the last book in the series sadly it would have been my last
I recommend reading the other books in this series but with the last book, it's not required. You might be confused as to who some characters are but it doesn't take away from the story.
This is the last book in this series and a nice round-up of the others. We get to see Cole get his HEA with Amos. The contrast between the characters is great with Cole being all sunshine and Amos being a grump. Cole has been waiting for this moment since the first book and I'm so glad he found his perfect match.
This book was a light-hearted read but while I did enjoy it some parts felt rushed and I wanted more like how did reuniting with Amos brother go? Why did Amos leave and stay away? Some things mentioned in the beginning were never resolved so I was left with unanswered questions and had to go back to make sure I never missed them. Overall this was a good final book to the series, and I will miss these boys.
This is a wonderful, heartwarming Mpreg Shifter romance and it can be read as a standalone even though it is part of the “Unexpected Mates” series. I particularly enjoyed the way the author portrayed the characters (a rather grumpy & solitary alpha male tiger, Amos) & (a mischievous young male lynx, Cole) as being unique individuals with realistic emotional feelings & expectations. The plot is well-paced & has good world building with splendid scene descriptions of some very interesting situations. The secondary characters offer good support throughout the storyline. There is: various kinds of shifters, humans, mild twists, drama, humour, friendship, longings, verbal disagreements, discovery, decisions, true mates, surprises, love, happiness, some steamy scenes & a well-deserved happy conclusion. I look forward to future books from this talented author & would recommend this book (& the series) to people who enjoy reading this genre.
This book is bittersweet. I’ve been looking forward to Cole’s book. He’s such a happy character. But I’m sad this series is finished.
Cole is a mischievous, bright, family orientated, bundle of fun who I’m pretty sure is part bouncy puppy. Is desperate to have what his family and pride have with a mate and children of his own.
Amos is a troubled grumpy soul who believes he deserves a life without company and happiness. He is at war with himself and Cole is quick to be the support and love he needs. His mate gives him back his life and a true hone where he feels he belongs.
This book is fun, Cole is to crazy not to have you laughing. It’s a book about finding your place in the world with people to support you. It’s great seeing the previous couples and what they and their families are up too.
A lovely ending to the series with possible spin off in Lore’s MC.
Cole was the sunshine, happy go lucky, jokester of the Bliss pride. Feeling a bit of loneliness now that his pack mates have found their fated mates, he is looking for his own mate too. When he meets older, grumpy Amos he never gives up his quest to convince his mate that they deserve their happiness.
Amos has his past that has kept him away from his loved ones. When he meets Cole he is hesitant to pursue the connection with his mate. But, one cannot resist the pull of fate and the tenacity of one’s mate and Amos will have to make some decisions to move forward in life.
This was a lovely conclusion to the series. We get to touch base with the rest of the Bliss pack and meet some new characters too. This story did feel a bit rushed for me and did feel a bit incomplete but overall it was an enjoyable read.
Cole is high energy, mischievous, and believes in annoying people into compliance. I didn't laugh out loud, but there are some funny situations, especially with overly-serious Amos as a straight man.
If you have a baby kink, you might like this one more than me. The conflict is over halfway through the book. Then there's just sex, meeting the family, childbirth... A number of appropriate endings rivaling Return of the King.
But if you enjoyed other books in the series, you'll probably like this one too. We get to see old friends and new babies. Since this is the last book in the series, there's kind of an HEA for everyone.
I adore this series and I was really really looking forward to read the last book. Cole needed his happily ever after! It was so worth the wait, this book is everything! It's my favorite book I read this month. I just love the grumpy/sunshine trope. And my God Cole is pure sunshine and optimism! He just made me smile and melted my heart just like he melted Amos too. I had the best time reading this book and I'm going to miss these characters very much.
This was an excellent ending to the series. I have loved Cole since we first met him. He is just too adorable not to love. It was wonderful to watch him be too stubborn to give up on his mate. Amos's back story was heart wrenching and it was really sweet as he discovered he deserved love. Plus, a fabulous check in with the whole pride and an introduction to a new pack! I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
This book was sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. The struggle that Cole and Amos went through separately and together was eye opening. We always saw Cole as the go lucky, jokester of the group. Seeing a different side of him was so refreshing. While I loved this story, it seem that the book may have been little bit rushed. There were a few things that happened in the book or were mentioned that wasn't explained or expanded on and I feel that it left it feeling incomplete.
What an AMAZING series. I hoping for a boxed set! Cole finally gets his HEA and his story is awesome! I loved Cole and Amos, great chemistry, funny, steamy and emotional. I love how Brea weaves such a beautiful story and brings in the characters from the previous stories so beautifully! This is a beautiful edition to this wonderful series and I'm so sad that it's ending! I read an advanced copy of this book and this is my unbiased review!
I've literally read each book in this serie since the 'His Bewildered Mate' was released and every time I'm all mushy and go awwwwww in them. I just love the Bliss Pride. Gotta say, kind of shock that Cole ended up being the baby carrying partner in this fated mate installment but with his happy go after attitude, it's perfect for him. Especially with his grumpy butt mate Amos. Great job, Brea.
A beautiful end to the series - though I’m sad that it’s the last one
I adore this series (it’s one of my favourites from this author) and while this is an amazing end to the series I’m also sad to see it end. Amos and Cole were perfect for each other. Amos was stuck in such an unhappy place and Cole needed his mate to show all the love he had. This was the perfect grumpy loves sunshine with extra grump and extra tigger sunshine. This is definitely a series I will be rereading many times!
I’m so sad to see the end of this series. I’ve been reading it since it started and loved each character. Cole is the last of the guys in his mate without a mate so of course he wants to find his mate. It was so sweet and it was definitely fun seeing Cole convince his mate. Loved seeing old characters and everyone gets a happy ending which I loved! I’m going to be so sad to say goodbye but their ending was so good!
Whew! Loved this story! This was a really well written grumpy meets sunshine couple where it was both sexy and funny at the same time. I had a smile on my face throughout the entire book and absolutely loved the ending. Ok, I actually don't completely love the ending because it is in fact the final book in this series and I still want to hang out with this Pride/family (yes, I'm totally pouting!) ;) Absolutely wonderful series that was a total joy to read!
This was sweet. I have been really enjoying this series, with all its different characters and their varying personalities. Brea has a talent with handling big casts of characters, as has been displayed in the growing number of both adults and children with their individual personalities and tastes. So like!
Cole is perfect for Amos. I like the introduction of new people. The other people show how the belief varies concerning fated mates. In the Bliss Pride is seems to be a given. Cole is upbeat and somewhat care free. Amos is just grumpy. They are perfect. The ending is my absolute favorite because it includes everyone and a peek at the future.
This was legit one of my favorite shifter book series! I’m so sad it was the last book! I really really hope Lore and The Who MC crew are the next series to be written and hopefully with pop in visits from the bliss pride!!!
Cole finally gets his mate but Amos did not make it easy. Both were a little bit dented around the edges but still worthy of love no matter what Amos thought. Watching these two wonderful characters get together was a fantastic way to end the series.
Cole and Amos complement each other so well. Liked how Cole try to win his grumpy mate and Amos couldn’t resist much longer. Happy to see previous characters one final time. Happiness everywhere.
This is the final book in this wonderful series. Bittersweet, all good things must come to an end.
This is another amazing addition to this series. I absolutely love Amos and Cole's story! This is just such a sweet read that I just love. My heart was definitely breaking at time but I love seeing how these two get together. Such a beautiful ending to this series.
I've been anxiously awaiting Cole’s story, and it was pretty good and fun, especially considering Cole. It would be better with some proof reading and editing to clear up the star’s worth of mistakes, but at least you can understand the bulk of the story.
I really enjoyed getting to see poor Amos being completely bowled over by Cole. He was literally a force if nature not to be denied. Sweet, beautiful with minimal angst and the best ending to this series.
I love Cole he was so funny, happy, upbeat. While Amos was such a grumpy kitty. But they feel so perfectly together. I'm sad to see the series end, I had a great time reading it. I hope we get to see Lore's crew get books, especially Lore.
I am so sad this series is over, I love absolutely every couple. I am so have that Cole found his mate. Amos is such is grump but Coles sunshine is exactly what he needed in life
