Grace Meyers is an author of beachy feel-good romances and women's contemporary fiction. She was born in the south, but has traveled a bit since then and now lives in a small coastal town.
I really do like these books, but I hate to have to stop one and go find the next one! I’d prefer one big book! When I got to the end of book 5, 6 isn’t even available yet!
I really hate that there is only one more book in this series. This series has really become personal to me as Lily has been diagnosed with Lupus & I also have Lupus. So I can really associate with what she is going through & it isn’t fun. All three of them are trying to decide what they are going to do with the rest of their life. They are all trying to decide if they are going to make career change. Lily doesn’t have a lot of a choice as her decision was made for her when they fired her which turned out to be a good thing. She was under a lot of stress & with Lupus, stress makes it a lot worse. Hannah has about decided she doesn’t want to model anymore & isn’t sure what she wants to do. Mason is falling in love with his old girlfriend & bought the old hardware store & is thinking about staying in Virginia Beach, then he gets this fantastic offer to work on the oil rig where he was working for like double the money & he could really use the money to get the hardware store up & running, plus he’s having second thoughts about if he’s doing the right thing. They all want to stay in Virginia Beach, but they are afraid of making the wrong decision. I think Stephen has helped Lily pretty much make up her mind to stay in Virginia Beach & their crazy Mom is still carrying on with the Cat Shelter in Aunt Rita’s house that she has taken over that really belongs to the siblings that had to stay in a hotel instead. After Lily’s illness Hannah who is a Model rented a nice house for them to live in & take care of Lily so she can be comfortable & she has begun to feel better and these waves of fatigue will come & go with her Lupus. I look forward to the final book to find out how it all it ends but yet sad to have it end as I have really enjoyed this series by Sage Parker.
I have received this ARC for free & have given my honest opinion of this read.
Lily learns she heads Lupus and feels like her world is crumbling. Why should anyone love her or want to help her? She seems to push everyone away, but no one else seems to be having it.
Her sister, Hannah, invites her friends over to discuss life with Lupus and even shared a journal of her best practices and ideas of things like exercise and a healthy diet can help diminish the effects of Lupus symptoms. It’s all about knowing your limits and knowing when to just take a break. Life can be normal for the most part!! There’s hippies yet!
Lily’s brother, Mason, head some difficult choices to make right now. He’s growing his relationship with his childhood buddy, Sarah. But she wants more than he knows how to offer. Then a very lucrative job offer on an oil rig comes his way, but he needs to be there in three days and Mason just bought a hardware store. There’s so much on his mind he’s not sure where to turn out who to turn to.
I enjoy that this series discusses a lifelong Lupus. Most people don’t know much about it, yet many have it. Bringing a topic this into this series speaks volumes! Likely the author has gone through it or someone she loves has. Bringing helpful hints for Lupus is a great way for people to know how to support their own friends and loved ones as well.
Whispers of Home Book 5 by Grace Meyers is on Kindle Unlimited. I give this book 5 out of 5 tiaras because of how informative it is on a somewhat important medical topic. it’s likely to help readers to support people in their own lives. Bravo!
"A well-balanced life promotes good health all the way around, regardless of what the illness is.”
Between Lily's diagnosis, Hannah's change of heart and Mason falling for his old girlfriend and starting to put down roots, maybe Aunt Rita knew exactly what she was doing when she left everything to the three of them, even if Mom horned in, Uncle Larry hangs on and there are cats everywhere...
These three are growing up, and that means that they need to sort of take care of each other. Lily's illness is a pivot point for her, with a sweetheart sealing the deal. Hannah's got some self revelation going on after finding her real history, and Mason is tired of the big rig and has bought to local hardware store. Question is: Can you go home again, and will they let you in? Highly Recommended 5/5

Lily finally learns a medical diagnosis behind her hospital stay. Will she be able to see a future with coffee shop owner Steven, or does he just feel sorry for her?
Mason continues to think about plans for the future. Should he invest and stay in town to pursue a future with Sarah, or return to His high paying job on the oil rig?
Meanwhile Hannah comes to term with her new Role in the family. Uncle Larry begins to open up and participate In family events.
Thank you to the author for the ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
We continue to learn more about the siblings. Lily is coming to terms with her diagnosis and Mason is making progress in becoming an adult. Will their romantic relationships continue to grow? Will Hannah decide what she wants to do for the rest of her life? Will Uncle Larry become a real part of the family and not just the weird uncle that they see occasionally? Can't wait to see how it all wraps up. Very entertaining! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Book 5 of this series has a focus of changing life styles for the siblings. Lily must learn to cope with her illness and make some changes in her lifestyle. Mason purchases a hardware store but has a chance to retirn to the oil field one last time to make enogh money to cover startup costs. Hannah rents a house for the siblings and realizes she enjoys life at Virginia beach. What will the future hold for the siblings? Anxiously awaiting book 6 of this series.

Lily gets her diagnosis and her family rallies around her. Mason buys a hardware store, but can’t decide what to do with his life. Hannah rents them a house, and makes a decision about her immediate future. Love the interaction between Lily, Mason and Hannah. This is a wonderful series, will be sorry to see it end, but looking forward to all the loose ends being brought together.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
A fabulous continuation of a wonderful story! Characters you love getting to know as you turn each page. A story line that pulls you in and holds your attention from start to finish. I strongly advise reading the previous books in the series before reading this one.

This is the fifth book of a serial called Whispers of Home. It's about estranged siblings and their mom dealing with things after their aunt died. It isn't written too well, and as usual, it ended with a cliffhanger, but the overall story is gradually getting more interesting, so I'm continuing with the serial.
Mason is undecided about leaving town to go work on the oil ring. He has found a girlfriend who he knew years ago so he is torn about leaving. Libby found out her results she had Lupus it's scaring her how to control it. Heather hasn't made up her mind yet if she leaving to go back to modeling. It's a good story you will like it.
The drama continues as Lily's diagnosis of Lupus brings her family closer in an effort to help her through the treatment. Her siblings, Hannah and Mason, appear to have made some serious decisions, even though Mason, seems to be is still adrift. Can't wait for the wrap-up of this series.
Family dynamics always make interesting reading. Plenty of drama with several twists and turns. Wonderful characters to follow along with on this journey. Good read.

Really disappointed that these books had nothing about Virginia Beach except the name! Why not make up a place if you're not going to relate anything in the books to the actual place?
I’m really loving this series. Will Mason stay or go back to his job? What will Hannah do with herself? Lily being sick will her blooming relationship with Steven continue and she stays. I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next.
I love this series, and it leaves you wanting more. I'm going to be sad that there is only one book left. As the family's lives are turned upside down by the death of their Aunt, and now Lily finding out she has lupus, they are all trying to find their own path to follow. Do they return to their old life style or start new in Virginia Beach. We have to wait till the next book to find out. I gave this book 4 stars, because at times throughout the book, it was hard to tell who was talking.
