흑막 남편과의 이혼에 실패한 것 같다 [Heugmag Nampyeongwa'eui Ihon'e Silpaehan Geos Gatda]

Rate this book

I loved it, I loved it, I loved it—the story, the main characters, the way they matched each other’s freak, their love and obsession for one another, the side characters, the parents and their backstory, the art, and the countless times I blushed—I loved it all.

Iam OBSESSED with this novel 😁🤩.
I can't believe that the author made him loose his memories right after the fl finds out she's pregnant 💀🔪🔪🔪.
But I can't wait to see his reaction when he finds out that they are going to have a cute baby 🥹

This dumb bitch thought for 10 fucking years that it was okay to ignore the affection of that pitiful child, not because she was FUCKING 30, but because she believed that some “love at first sight” shit would beat the time they spent together and the feelings he cultivated for her in that time? HOLY SHIT SHE’S ANNOYING. It pisses me the fuck off that she is so self-centered, she is convinced she is not in the wrong after seeing him so distressed, she thinks that she is doing everything for him, and is out there giggling like a madwoman because he won’t let her go and STILL won’t stay with him? Like, you knew damn well what you were doing and you could sense PERFECTLY WELL that he was head over heels in love with you, but you treated him coldly and disregarded his feelings, acting as if it was only painful for you, and poor you had to make so many sacrifices. BITCH I- UGHHHHH

It was also super creepy for her to mention that she “raised him”, I mean, WTF?! It was a constant reminder that a 30 year old woman found a 10 year old kid attractive, and as that kid grew up she fell in love with him. I’m sorry, but idgaf if they only did “adult stuff” when they were both, well, “adults” or whatever, they really need to stop doing these kind of tropes with adults transmigrating into children bodies and then meeting and raising their future love interests.

Also, the fact that she was so careless with her announcement of divorce, like, she knows is a sensitive topic, specially considering her position, but she just did it in public, without a care of their reputation or what could everything mean for HIS position; even though she claims that she loves him, she is continuously making things difficult for him because of this matter. I just can’t stand her stupidity, I really want to get inside the book and hit some sense into her, damn it.

I’m dropping this. Is stupid, and offensive, and the idea of her being an adult having feelings for a child just (obviously) feels wrong in general, as I am a perfectly rational adult without any difficulty with understanding. I was curious about their grown up selves and how it was going to develop considering the circumstances so I kept on, but I can’t stand it anymore. The only people who are worth it are Frederick and Clara, AND THEY HAVEN’T EVEN APPEARED THAT MUCH. Shit, I know I’m being overly dramatic and nobody’s probably going to read this, but it feels good to rant.

Peace.

Picked this up since it was somewhat controversial for a relatively fluffy book. The FL *is* older and does kinda groom the 10yo ML but honestly it’s not that serious. She didn’t accept his love until they were adults and even then she was willing to face the consequences of messing with the novels events.

I’m a huge fan of how the couple scheme together and separately. Due to growing up together and being married at 10, they basically know each other mentally and physically. It’s really cute how they constantly make plans to protect the other at the same time. They’re both obsessed and possessive of each other no matter what obstacle they face.

I do get frustrated with the ML since he kept her hanging at one point and was quickly forgiven but she really was about to dump his ass until he spilled the beans. Overall it was an entertaining read and I do like the FL’s goals and aspirations outside of the relationship.

Absolutely deranged couple. Like literally willing to go full yandere for each other and they both find it hot.

The scheming and just everything is so good.

It is a little strange at first when she is a kid but also keeps reminding us that she is "older mentally". Though their relationship never goes anywhere until they are both adults. Mainly, they get to scheme a lot as children and then as adults.

Again, I just love them being absolutely deranged for each other. Like when he bursts down the door and she is all tied up and he is all "found you" with smiles and flowers. (My man has blood on his face and he brought in the royal guard because his wifey was kidnapped. Deranged.) But she also goes around being like "Oh we need to get a divorce but if any of you touch him I'll destroy your bloodline" (damn).

Maybe I'm the freak here but I could not get enough. I love this deranged wholesome couple.

It was an interesting read, I did not like that one particular plot device and the lack of communication associated with it. He should have told her and not lied about it but anyways. It sort of went on for a bit too long imo. Could’ve been ended five chapters sooner.
