The True Tail Tale series is a collection of children's books. The stories are inspired by the author's relationship with various animals, both pets and wildlife. They are heartwarming and amusing stories told in rhyme. The beautiful illustrations are nicely paired with the poetic writing.
The physician is both author and illustrator. He writes in third person to give his subjects center stage. His poetic writing is humorous and fanciful. The vibrant illustrations originate from actual photographs taken of his characters.

Awwww.....Bela. Her name says it all, noble and bright. She enters as the little sister and emerges as the best friend. This is a wonderful story about a developing friendship suitable for all ages. We can all learn a thing or two from Bela! (And Lola too).
Great book for dog loving families!! A cute rhyming story of the spirited Miss Bela who was adopted to be the little sister of Miss Lola. It is a wonderful story of the adventures of becoming new member of the family!! You will love the pictures of Lola and Bela in their holiday outfits!
Bela is so cute! We loved to imagine what she was thinking when she was getting into trouble. The pictures are very colorful. Looking forward to the next story, with a third pup!
A book of rhyming couplets about how a family came to rescue a Westie and some other dogs. Not all the couplets rhyme exactly...you have to stretch a vowel here and there. The story itself is entertaining. Kids might like it if they like dogs. If your kids WANT a dog, and you don't...probably don't get them this book, or you'll find yourself with new pet.
In Lola’s book we meet the little sister Bela. This book expands on Bela. Bela apparently wins the hearts of all. 💛 (Yes me too). And helps daddy find love! 💕. I’m eager to hear about Bela’s possible new brother 🤔. The book is cute. It too rhymes, which can’t be easy! Props to the author. The pictures are cute.
Bela The Westie is a part of a True Tail series, and it shows us what happened when Bela joins Lola. There is double the fun and double trouble too. Lola doesn't want to accept Bela in her life, but Bela is cute, adorable, and has her own story to tell. Joins Bela, the westie, and her adventures in this fun rhyming book. Each page has a beautiful picture of Bela and her friends. I just loved their adorable costumes for Christmas. This book shows the life of these furry bundles of joy and I'm sure children will love to read-aloud this adorable book. Perfect for 3+ This book is available on Amazon.
This fun sequel to Lola the Westie is beautifully illustrated and tells the story of how chaos ensues when Bela the Westie joins the family. I fell in love with Bela and her Westie antics made me laugh out loud! I can’t wait to read about what happens when Jonah the Whippet comes on the scene!
Bella the Westie is not only a sequel to Lola the Westie, but Lola's new baby sister! Although it was a little rough in the beginning having two dogs with attitude, the two soon bonded. It is full of sweet photos of Lola and Bela, in all their outfits, and even of some of their dog friends!
I am a big fan of Lola, Bella, their family and friends! Westies are such fun!
The illustrations of these Westies are precious and the stories are so sweet. What a special treat to celebrate Westie love with F. Jordan Erebia's great children's books. Welcome additions to my Westie book collection! Heartwarming, happy books! If you love dogs you will enjoy reading about these two Westies!
This is a cute little book, telling the true story of Bela the Westie....in the form of a poem, & accompanied by corresponding photos of Bela, the other animals in the story. The author, a retired physician, tells a little about himself too. The poetry is easy to understand, & it's a nice little book. I received an e-copy of the book in a Goodreads First Reads Giveaway listed by the author, & in return I offer this my own fair & honest review.
What could be more endearing than a cute little Westie? Why .... two of them! This is an easy-to-read rhyming story with two little dogs and some really adorable pictures. In these troubled times, it's nice to see the love of a pet and its owner. I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review.
This is a really cute book that is told by rhyming the sentences. The author mentions another dog and story before this book, so I felt like I was missing part of the story. The illustrations and pictures are great, who doesn’t like pictures of Lola, Bella and Jonah. I look forward to reading the other books.
Here’s the true story of Bela the Westie. Follows the ups and downs of the life of a little Westie dog that joins a loving family. My students were happy to see another Westie book and were very interested in the pictures. They especially liked the Halloween costumes.
It's a tiny book of a rescue story told in rhyme with really cute images. I almost wish I could read more about Bela and all her silliness in regular prose.
Following Lola’s friend moving away, her ‘little sister’ Bela is introduced. Within this gorgeous book you get to see the pair dressing up in holiday outfits for some gorgeous family photos.
So cute and so fun!! I have loved his books sooooooooooo much!!!! I hope he puts out so many more!!! I didn't want to put it down until I was done. Just super cute!!!!!
