I was enjoying this story until the mother of the 28 yo H announces to everyone in attendance that she's inviting herself to stay at his home because she doesn't like an unmarried couple being alone together. He's 28, owns his own home and has a successful business. She's 25, owns her own home about 4 hours away and has a successful business. They've already spent 6 days/nights together unchaperoned at his home and are exercising self-control, but let's face it...they truly just met. Any man who would allow his mother to think she has this kind of latitude over him isn't much of a man. He should tell her to butt out. It's unfortunate that the author chose this direction to steer this story, because it only became more absurd with each new chapter that followed. The H goes from 'Definitely not his type' to 'He hopes and prays she’ll marry him' in less than 10 days. This book would have been better served developing and expressing their growing attraction instead of these antics. I've read 'sweet clean romance' and this is not it. Not even realistic.

The book had only a handful of proofreading typos, awkward sentence structures, mixed subject/verb tenses and technical errors for which I applaud it, but it's not enough to redeem this story. These days there are way too many errors in books. There are too many sets of twins and the author has confusion of when the season of Spring actually begins and whether or not there is still snow/ice on the ground. Those lines are just filler and don't add to the story.

This one line sums up a lot: 'that ice patch might have been more frozen and not so slippery'. Ice is ice and it cannot be 'more frozen' but it is always slippery. I have 6 others free books by this author in my Kindle Library that I shall try to read before placing her on my blacklist.

The last book with the O'Connell brothers and the many people who try to set them up. This is another delightful book in the Alaska Matchmakers series.
If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a part of a large family then this is the book series for you. It seems they are always into each others' lives. Now Andy, the last brother who doesn't have anyone is being set up by everyone! With some crazy mistakes, a car accident, and snow, his life is turned upside down. Throw into this mix a bunch of cats and a dog and you have a fun quirky book to read.
Cathryn Brown has produced another fun delightful book to add to the collection of matchmaking stories. All set in the beautiful state of Alaska. This author brings wonderful word pictures of the stunning places around Alaska.
I totally enjoyed reading this book and seeing how these two characters get together. I'm sad it's the last one but I have a feeling this author will bring all these characters back in another series. At least I can hope!
If you like romance, matchmaking, beautiful scenery, dogs, and cats, then you'll love this book!

Andy and Samantha's story

Thanks Ms. Cathryn, this as all the stories touched my heart with delight! Sam's drive and determine d to get her website on track rushed to face to face with website builder Andy O'Connell was just what a women with that determination would do. He turning out to be her brother Lou's college roommate was a plus, the accident, the cats and Gracie just made for an enjoyable read! I read the sisters Bre, Jemma, and Holly's stories first and all the short stories in between the Noah, Adam, Mark, Jack Andy and theirs brides stories! I love Alaska and pray I can visit one day. You made me feel apart of their lives and the places they lived! Thanks for always having God in their lives, and showing how much family means to share times together!

Surprisingly Matched by Catherine Brown is the fourth and final book in the Alaska Matchmakers series.

The scheming brothers & brother in law decide to get into the matchmaking field since Andy is the last of the O’Connell boys to find his match. He’s a computer tech that doesn’t have time or desire to get married.

Samantha Santoro has a business she needs to take to the next level. She is given Andy’s business as a contact, by the brother in law, to assist her with her website. Circumstances collide so that Andy and Samantha spend time together. Will the guys matchmaking succeed?

This book was a joy to read. It's a sweet clean small town romance that holds your attention. The author brought the book to life with her words. I could see the scenery, feel the emotions and loved the dog and cats in the story. This is the perfect book to escape with. I highly recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was a fun, clean read. Samantha's dog treat website wasn't perfect, but it worked. Until it didn't, through no fault of her own. Andy, the individual recommended to help her fix it was too busy to help. What can she do? An enjoyable story with a HEA. I received an ARC of this book. The honest opinions in this review are my own.

Surprisingly Matched

This is the story of a young woman living in Alaska who has started her own business making dog treats only to find that the jerk who did her website has made it so it was not working at all and she gets a name from a friend to call this guy who is an excellent web master and history is made. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

Great story

A little crash & a car needing to get fixed left Sam staying with Andy.
Her dog became friends & protector to one of his cats.
His cats liked a salmon dog treat she made.
They both learned to accept life & love as it happened.

Great free book

I love getting free clean romances. It is fun meeting new friends. I liked all of the characters in this book which isn't usually the case. I also enjoyed that they are church goers.

Fun book

She drops in unexpectedly needing work on her website. He is sorta a hermit and doesn't exactly welcome unannounced guests. When he realizes who she is everything changes!

A good read

This series is well written. Each book kept my attention and I was anxious to read each evening to see what happened next. Also very easy to picture like I was watching a movie. Can't wait to read more books by Cathryn Brown.

Absolutely the best series ever! All of the books were 5 stars. Andy and Jack were perfect together, add the families and the animals made this a fun and loving read. I enjoyed how all the brothers stories concluded also. Such a nice and wholesome series.

Loved this book!

Who doesn't fall for a sweet dog, a pile of cats and someone who needs help? This was a great series and very sad that it's the last one! My sisters made dog treats for a while... Lots of work!

DNF. Thought a book with dogs and cats would be good but a lot a things at the beginning of book didn't seem plausible. Stopped after a few pages.

Cute & sweet

Very cute and sweet. Lots of laughs, fun, one dog, Gracie and 4 cats. Story centered around family, a contemporary romance. Warm fuzzy story.

Ok

Not a fan of the writing style. This is a series set in Alaska. It wasn't bad but just not my taste.

Furry Fun

It was so much fun to have the addition of cats and a dog to the romance. Cathryn has strong characters and a delightful story line.

Likeable characters and a decent story. I like that these are “sweet” romances, but the insistence on chaperones in this series is weirdly Victorian for contemporary romance.

I have read all 9 books of these two intertwined series and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every book. Each book is a standalone story, but I recommend you read them in order.
