After that she moved to Yankee land where she lived for four years working in a laboratory at Cornell University. Homesickness and snow aversion forced her back South where she lives in the land which spawned Elvis Presley, Oprah Winfrey, John Grisham and B.B. King. After finding her Prince Charming, she gave birth to a wondrous gift named Caylin and they all lived happily ever after.

Devastatingly Beautiful
It seems like I've been waiting forever for Lucifer and Amalies story and it did.not.disappoint! Lucifer loves Amalie as deep or perhaps deeper than he "hates" God and through that love we finally begin to see what he could be if he would just let go of his anger and hurt. But then Amalie dies giving birth and Lucifer is more broken than he has ever been. Amelia knows she's dying but refuses to kill her baby to save her own life because the consequences of her dying may be bad but the consequences of Anna not surviving are catastrophic. We all know what comes next but seeing into Lucifers heart and the man he could be was fantastic. SJ couldn't have done a better job of giving us insight into these two soul mates and their unshakeable love for one another. I do advise reading the Redemption Series again afterwards just to ease the heartache you are sure to feel.

I knew this love story for Lucifer and Amelia's was going to be epic I'd always wanted to hear how they fell in love and how everyone took handled it in the beginning. I have read all of S.J. West books So reading the Redemption series I knew how their love story ended so reading how they fell in love was amazing, Lucifer loves Amelia so much it was truly amazing to watch him change on those pages Lucifer would do anything for Amelia he always wanted to put a smile on her face then the sad part came 😭 it was so heartbreaking I went through so many tissues after reading this book it made me want to go back and re-read the Redemption series again that is how good this book is SJ West did a phenomenal job!! ❤️ ❤️

Grab a box of Kleenex before you start to read this book. This love story is breathtakingly beautiful. True love can bring out the best in people. It was well written. I loved this story even with the sad outcome.

This is the second part of Lucifer and Amalie's story! Get your tissues, even though you know how it ends, I still felt my heart crush! Time for a reread of the full redemption series from start to finish!

Fabulous, Heartbreaking, Full Circle
Wow, that was such a fabulous story about Amalie and Lucifer. So much joy and happiness to the ultimate tragedy. But the story has come full circle and closure on so many levels in the Watcher world. I loved this story I cried my eyes out but it was so fulfilling.

On my heart
Lucifer is my absolute favourite character throughout the whole of the Watcher series, no matter how bad he can be.
To see him find love made my heart soar with happiness, but then it was shattered for the grief he had to bear.
Thank you, Sandy, for showing everyone this side of Lucifer, he deserves it to be seen.

This is the conclusion of Lucifer and Amalie’s story and I loved it! This is one of those books that takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions from beginning to end. The book has a great story, is fast paced, sad, incredibly sexy and is full of awesome characters. I highly recommend this author and can’t wait to read her next series!

I was so excited to read how Lucifer and Amalie's love story will develop - how they fell in love, what they had to go through, what were they thinking and what was everyone's reaction to their relationship.
I knew the ending thanks to another series from S.J. West and I really wanted to get to the bottom of this particular story. Luci was and still is one of my favourite characters - complicated, tormented, conflicted and oh, so lost. And Amalie - strong, beautiful, opinionated, passionate and never giving up.
I would say two things about the second book - I've never cried so much in my life and for the unaware - be prepared! - this story will devastate you in all the best ways possible.
I highly recommend both books for those lost souls still believing in true, epic love.

Oh my! First, grab a box of tissue!! Even though I knew how this was going to end (the Redemption series-well ALL of the Watcher books are a highly recommended read) I cried like a big ole baby!! As previously stated, I knew how things would end, but the insight into the great love between Amalie and Lucifer really make the “rest of the story” even more special.
So, if you haven’t already - go catch up with this series and read the two books about the NEW power couple - Amalie and Lucifer. You won’t regret it!

I knew this book was going to have a tragic ending but I still wasn't prepared for the kick in the gut. I will not spoil the ending but to fans who have already read the Redemption series you will know what is going to happen. The love between Amelie and Lucifer is one of my favourites in the entire series. As I was reading this book, I reminded me why Malcolm was so resistant towards Anna initially. Even though I cried, I am very glad SJ West shared this story with us. This is a definite 5 out of 5.

I have been waiting for this story for a long time and it is finally here. The first book brought us how Amalie and Lucifer fell in love. This book is about the hardships that we all knew were going to take place. If you have read the other series from SJ West then you know how the ending plays out. What you don't know is how they get there. This book was so emotional for me. Even though I knew what was coming I was not prepared for this roller coaster ride! Read this book. You will not be disappointed. I loved it!

This series definitely knows how to pull on my heart strings and emotion. An amazing roller coaster of a ride. Even though there were heartbreak and tragedy, the book ends with a HEA. Even though full of trials and tribulations, loves conquers all. A fantastic series. I was enthralled and enraptured from the very beginning. This is a definite must read story! You won't regret it one book. Well done S.J! I can't wait to see what else you bring!

Heartbreakingly beautiful
Oh man, the feels with this one.
Lucifer and Amalie’s love story was epic, beautiful, and heartbreaking. I don’t want to give anything away with a synopsis because you need to read it for yourself. But what I will say is this book was so well written and everything I was expecting it to be and more. I absolutely loved it

Oh How I Love Lucifer and Amalie.
This book has all the feels..... we all knew it was coming... we all knew it had to happen.... but the realization didn't make it easier to experience.
I absolutely LOVED this book, even with the sad parts.... because if not for the devastation we would never get to all the good that comes to us.
I Love all things SJ West.... and this book doesn't disappoint.

I’m crying
I have never felt so many emotions all at once, I started out happy and smiling and by the time I read the last page I was crying like a baby. I really felt such empathy for Amalie for her sacrifice and Lucifer for all the pain he was going thru, thankyou to ms. West for giving me the Opportunity to read Amalies and lucifers story. This will forever be one of my favorite stories.

Oh this book is soooo good! You just keep on reading.
A beautiful romance with heavy “ooohs” and “aahhs”. It is said the Devil is oh so good at being bad but in this book, we see the other side to Lucifer and I simply love this bad boy! Be warned though, this is an emotional rollercoaster, from big massive smiles to tears. Beautiful book!

This book made me have a roller coaster of emotions. I loved their story, and glad it didn't change from the original story line. The "happy ending" must come later. I only wish they had more time together. If it doesn't pull you in totally, something is wrong with you. Another addition to an already amazing series, starting with the Watcher's Trilogy. Awesome as always.

I loved this conclusion to Amalie and Lucifier's story. This book had my emotions all over the place. We get to see a softer side to Lucifer and I could help thinking of the sexy and lovable Lucifer in Neil's Gaiman's tv show. If you've read the previous books, the ending of this one will be no surprise, still, this insight and this whole love story is a must read.

OMG!!!! EVERYONE who reads the any of the books by SJ West, you already know what happens at the end. But OMG when she went more into detail and played everything out in front of you, it's just wow! It has literally ripped me apart inside and out, I cried and blubbered like a baby!!!

Tear jerker
I have followed this series since the beginning, and have cried plenty of times throughout it BUT this one had me crying through most of the book! I was so engrossed in the story and characters I felt every emotion of everyone as if I were living the story with them.

Even though i knew it was coming, this book still broke my heart. But It was an amazing book and I love this world so much. I loved finally getting Amalies story and seeing that side of Lucifer. If you haven’t read her other books, you really should! Especially the ones about Lucifers future! You won’t regret it!

Wonderful
I loved being able to read Lucifer and Amalie’s story. If you have already read the redemption series then you know how it ends going into the book. However, it was so great to see their love grow and the birth of their daughter.

Oh poor Lucifer! This book is so emotional! With reading the other books I already knew what was going to happen but that didn’t stop me from crying like a big baby! This book was so good and so emotional! It was exactly how I knew it would be if not more!

What a crying mess!! I loved this story. Amalie and Lucifer find happiness but then it spirals out of control. Even though you know the ending its makes you feel and the pain and anger that you feel when someone leaves. Great story!!

Even though I knew what was coming from reading the Redemption series (and all of the watchers books), it still made my heart hurt. If you want to see the rest of the story, read the Redemption Series. You won't be disappointed!

This book is a wonderful rollercoaster ride of emotions. Even though I knew what to expect in the end I loved getting to see the journey these 2 characters took to get there. Make sure you have tissues at the ready for this one. As always SJ West knocked it out of the park.
