Sagas manga leídas: ''Sailor Moon'', y ''Sailor V'', de Naoko Takeuchi. Glénat, edición española. 18 y 3 tomos.
¿Quién no conoce ''Sailor Moon''?

Action is good but I don't understand who the baby is? And why? I totally get that I am not the audience for these books, but I'm missing something.

This is technically the last book in the main Sailor Moon series as volume 11 is a side story. So, this was one huge wrap up of long-standing plots. Sailor Moon must use the Grail to save not only the Scouts, but the world. In this volume, she is able to tap into the power and transform without the help of her friends. Hotaru sacrifices her soul to save Rini, separating herself from Mistress 9 and Sailor Saturn is born. Instead of destroying the Earth, she destroys the daimons and the vessel that Mistress 9 and Pharoh 90 were occupying, but in doing so she must destroy herself. She is reborn and the Outer Senshi decide to raise her up to be good. The volume ends with Bunny's promise to see Michiru, Setsuna, and Haruka again.

Overall I found the series extremely enjoyable. Nostalgia aside, it's a fun story that's kid-friendly and a nice introduction to manga for the young reader. It has powerful messages of love and friendship accompanied by gorgeous artwork. It's not ideal for seasoned manga-readers just wanting to give Sailor Moon a try as the story is very rushed, and for once I feel the anime may be slightly superior in that regard. However, the manga explores Bunny's sexuality a bit more as she is not only romantically but physically attracted to Darrien and later Haruka. For those who love Sailor Moon, definitely worth the read. :)

Adoro a Haruka y Michiru.

I mean.. I kinda wanted to give this book a 4 and a half star rating. That was not an Option - how stupid and weird? However Paddy is i guess in a.. generous mood today! so i rounded it up to a nice round 5 Star. But count yourself lucky here. Ive almost certainly read better stuff from Naoko!

The part of the circus was boring af and honestly I'm disappointed in the future 4 sailor guardians, however the battle and climax moments were pure art as usual, still great story but again it feels like a series end so let's see what else is to come

Best volume up till now. It took me a while to get into the story as it is very straightforward, but in this volume things and people seem to have finally found their places.

My favorite storyline yet! I’m a little sad though because I only have two more volumes left. I want to know how it all ends though!

Story: Like a fine wine Sailor Moon R gets better with time from it's predecessor Sailor Moon. The Black Moon Arc introduces the same cast of characters are back with new villains to fight. The series arc split in two with the first part having the Doom Tree aliens appear, Ann and Alan. The second part of the series introduces the Black Moon villains. This time there is a little surprise waiting for Serena and Darien, Rini, there are also three new scouts that are found: Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn.

Drawing Style: The drawing is in the same style as in Sailor Moon. Simple, realistic and for the time period.

Characters: The characters and story continue to be developed as the mystery of what happened in the Crystal Kingdom is revealed and the destiny of the characters is foretold. The new characters (Especially the corresponding villains) are a good foil for the characters that were already introduced.

Overall: I thought that the second series arc of Sailor Moon was better than the first. The whole entire plot development takes on a new step in the second series making the volumes irresistible and the characters more lovable that before.

Note: This review was completed after reading volumes 4-10.

Sailor Moon finds the power to defeat the enemy again, with the help of a particular and perhaps unexpected scout. The world is saved (shocking, right?) and the outer scouts take their leave, with a new charge in tow.

The book ends with a Rini's Diary mini story. As much as I am not a Chibi Moon fan, I do like her little mini stories. This one centers on her and Moon's birthday presents and the myth of Shokujo and Kengyu, a couple only allowed to see each other once a year on July 7th.

I still find Rini's obsession with her father to be somewhat creepy.

Onto the last book in this series!

One of my all-time favorite series. The gateway series to getting me into anime and manga! The artwork impressed me so much, and the story was fun. It is still one of my favorites both because it's well-done, and for nostagia reasons.

This is the version that came out during the middle age of manga: before they stopped flipping the artwork, but right as TokyoPop was starting to emerge, and the volumes got cheaper. Unfortunately you could see it in the quality, as there were a lot of typos and sometimes the edges of pages would get cut off.

I know that this manga is far from the best... the story can be cliche in places, and the art is horrible in spots...

But it has a special place in my heart - it was one of my very first introductions to anime and manga, and there's something empowering about Sailor Moon and the sailor scouts. I don't think it matters how old I get... I'll always find my way back to this manga.

Another big fight, and again, Sailor Moon has the power and purity to triumph. The fate of Sailor Saturn was handled well, and Takeuchi built the drama of the impending end of the world over several pages, making sure the moment was massively epic. Another solid book.

This was one of my favorites in the series, but it might be my bias towards Sailor Saturn. But this shows a bigger battle, and why Saturn is willing to sacrifice everything, something that the original anime glossed over completely.

Książka z biblioteki - jedyny wtedy dostępny tom.
Hotaru stała się Mistres 9... Czy świat czeka zagłada? W dziesiątym tomie historii wojowniczek w mundurkach trzeci epizod dochodzi do punktu kulminacyjnego.
