5 books7 followersWiss Auguste was born and raised in Jacmel, a small town in the south of Haiti. He began writing poetry and short stories at the age of thirteen. Auguste migrated to the United States at the age of 21 and currently resides in New York City.

Beneath the Veil of Time is a stunning collection of poetry by talented Author, Wiss Auguste. A few of the pieces that I found most intriguing are:
Carefree (the freedom of truly living); Cultural Conundrum (love conquers all); I Chose You (simply beautiful, love’s choice); The Lenses of Protection (a beautiful mind); and Black Man (my FAVorite piece in this collection of poetry)
I would definitely recommend reading this book of poetry and the Illusions of Hope by Author, Wiss Auguste.
