Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the south of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Volcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide.
After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband (who can now stop twisting her arm) she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged-in male, her laptop.
Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they are to write.
*gasp* I wanna go to Faeryland toooooo! This was short but it sure was something. Love Elsborg's vast ability to dabble in a bit of everything. These Five Scenes were bursting with naughty and nice. I certainly wouldn't complain if we see Dev and Jago again.
The Choice is just a story with a slight twist and an interesting "mystery" but doesn't quite pull off what I thought it would be and the choice was quick and faster than it should have been - because we never got a chance to feel who we were reading about.
If you want a short story with a small bit of an idea, this is your choice.
This is basically a steamy meet-cute. I didn't really understand the setting, though it became clearer in the end, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the story. Well written. I wanted more.
