The heroine: Nylah - an ER nurse, Nylah is on duty when a biker in skull makeup brings in her sister Naomi after she was assaulted and nearly burned alive. Naomi is an addict and a prosititute but didn’t deserve what happened to her.
The Hero(es): Azrael (a.k.a. Rael) - The Sergeant at Arms for the Royal Bastards, MC. Rael is determined to get vengeance against those responsible for his sister Willow’s death. He is a brutal killer who loves his job but has a soft spot for a woman in trouble.
The story: Rael and Nylah meet in the hospital after he rescued Naomi and brought her in to the ER. Rael is immediately attracted to Nylah and offers to help her if she ever needs it. Nylah takes him up on his offer when her sister disappears.
I really liked that this series has a paranormal aspect because I have never read an MC paranormal romance before. However, this was my first book out of the series and I wish the reaper aspect would have been explained a bit better early on in the book, though I understand why it wasn’t
From the way I could understand it, the MC made some kind of deal with the devil signed in blood for them to become Reapers. The Reaper is spoken of kind of like a shifter in shifter books. When the reaper comes forward, the man is stronger and possibly immortal, but when the man is in control, he is just like a regular man and can be hurt or killed.
I didn’t understand why some guys in the MC wear the face paint. It seems a bit silly to me, also a pain to put on every day, and messy when they were hitting each other or kissing women. Most of what I was wondering was eventually explained, and I was happy to see at the end of the book, it said that the next book, Devil’s Ride will explain how the guys became reapers.
I thought the romance seemed a bit rushed, not that Rael and Nylah were intimate right away, but there were hardly any scenes with just the two of them before they were basically a couple. I though with Rael being named after the angel of death and his love for blood and death, that there would be a bit more tension between them, or at the very least him being a bad boy and convincing her to take a walk on the wild side. Though the romance was better later in the book. Overall I thought this was a very original story and I can’t wait to get started on the Devil’s Ride.

Another great book by Nikki Landis as part of the Royal Bastards MC. Got to hurry this review because I'm so ready for Devil's Ride next.
In my review of the first book of this part of the series I said it had a tiny bit of paranormal. Now I know not everyone enjoys paranormal but even if you don't you will love this book if you like MC books. It's a big part of who they are but doesn't take over the whole story.
This is Azrael "Rael" and Nylah's story. Rael just happens to be in the right place at the right time. He saves a life, meets someone who has his reaper sitting up and noticing and it all comes back to where he started from. If you sell your soul to the devil does that mean you don't have a heart? Apparently not when it comes to this club. Some old scores are settled too.

This is a thrilling edge of your seat ride that will have you turning those pages non stop. Azrael is a man on a mission and when Nylah comes around this entire focus is shifted for the better. If you’re looking for a MC romance that will have you dying for more you need to one click this book.

Azrael is the enforcer for the mc and he is set on a revenge path. Nylah is going through a terrible time in her life. The two meet and things change for Azrael for the better. Chemistry between them is strong and love grows eventually for them. A good mc read.

Wow. What another great story by Nikki Landis. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Rael and Nylah together, they are total opposites but they really fit each other. Nylah brings light to Raels life. Rael brings protection and love to Nylahs life. They really suit each other.
I can't wait for more.

The devil knows Rael deserves some goodness in his life. He was hurt from a child on, and when he sustained his greatest lost, he sold his soul.
I hope the goodness of Nylah can bring him some peace.

Ridin' for Hell was a great story. The plot and characters were strong. The story was written well, it was packed with action, suspense, twists and more. Nikki Landis did a great job on it.
Azrael and Nylah were strong characters, their journey was a rollercoaster, they had many ups and downs, nothing came easy but these two, they were made for each other. They were made for each other, their connection, the pull between them was strong. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Nylah and Azrael were great together.
I enjoyed this story, it was great.

Azreal is out for revenge trying to find those who are responsible for his sosters death. When he stumbles upon a prostitute getting messed up by college punks he takes care of business and then takes her to the hospital. Upon delivery to the hospital a nurse turns out to be the victims sister but to Azreal she turns out to be much more. Will he be able to handle this hellcat of a nurse or will she run screaming when she finds out who or what he truely is? I l9ved this book and cannot get enough of Azreal. Great story lines with fantastic characters. Very enjoyable read with a much deserved HEA.

What an Amazing Ride!
WOW! This was an exhilarating and utterly thrilling ride. The story is dark and twisted perfection from beginning to end. The action and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat biting my nails. At times my heart was in my throat. Azrael is one sexy, badass reaper who is seeking revenge. Nylah is a sweet but badass little nurse who can’t help falling for the intense Angel of Death. Their journey is filled with murder and mayhem making this one hell of a story. I loved every second of it and can’t wait to read more.

OMG! What was I thinking waiting so damn long to read this! GAH! Azrael is EVERYTHING!! Here I thought happily Bodie stole a piece of my heart but how wrong I was... Azrael literally took my heart and soul. This book from the get go had me hooked. I flove all the damn characters 😭. Nylah is the light to Azrael's darkness and his her dark and broody Reaper in black leather and chrome with a soft side only she gets to see. I can't wait for the next installment of RBMC. I am officially a huge fan.

I received this ARC through Booksprout via the author and am leaving my review voluntarily. This book is part of a larger series, The Royal Bastards MC but can be read as a standalone. Other characters from previous books do make appearances. While this is an MC theme book, with all the action and violence you might expect, it also has a Paranormal twist to the storyline.

Azrael, Sgt at Arms for the Nevada chapter of the Royal Bastards. He left NOLA after his sister was raped and murdered by RB Rancid. His only focus in life was to get revenge.

Azrael and Nylah meet at the ER after he finds her junkie, prostitute sister "Trixie" beaten, raped and almost murdered.
It is insta-lust on Azrael's part, Nylah initially thought he was to blame for her sisters injuries.
I do not want to give all the details. You should read and decide for yourself.

This is the second in the series. Azreal is the SGT at Arms for the MC that is the Devil himself reincarnated you would think. He loses all control when he is in his mode. He has no problems killing at all. He is on a mission to find and kill the ones that raped and killed his sister. While on this mission he meets Nylah due to the fact that he caught men torturing a young woman. He took these guys out and rushed her to the hospital where Nylah was asked to stay and help with the victim. Nylah finds out it is her sister that is estranged from her. Nylah assumes it was Azreal that did this to her sister so she attacks him. When she finds out it is not him but he's the one that helped her she lets it go. Azreal and Nylah make a great power couple as she accepts him for who he is and what he does. This is what Azreal needs. Cant wait to read the other stories in this series.

Rael main is to get the person that took the one person he loved most in his life. He is slowly working to his way there, along with his club duties. It is after these duties that he needs time to himself. Rael decides to stop in area that he usually doesn't, he hears screams. When he gets there, he sees some guys burning a young woman. He does what he does best, he takes the girl to the hospital. She is bad shape. There is a nurse that goes after him, thinking he is the one that did that. Rael clears it up quickly, he can't be attracted to her. When his is attacked he goes to her for help. They get closer due to his help with her sister. Rael has to decide if he can open his heart and love or will revenge get in his way. Things will get dangerous for all involved
This was a good, nice continuation to Royal Bastard series. There is alot going in this book that I didn't write about, there are some dark themes that everyone will not like.

A lot of the bikers in this series have been through their own kind of hell long before the woman meet them. The women as well suffer pain, abuse, kidnap and at times loss, but they are still strong and fighting to improve their lives. In this book it's more the sister that is going through it but she is adopted by this group of bikers right along with her sister who is trying to save her. I loved the paranormal aspect of this story it, certainly gave it all an extra edge and a bit of mystery. Ian grabbed my heart and kept it, with Patriot and Grim very close behind, I will be waiting for their stories patiently I hope.

Great book. New to me author. I love MC Romance and this one is up there on my list of favorites. Well written and great characters. This is part of a series written by different authors. None of the books go with each other but all are from the same MC, just different chapters. Worth the read for sure. Check it out.

The Royal Bastard MC series is a dark and gritty series written by twenty-seven fabulous authors. Each author tells the story of an MC chapter of the RBMC, located in several different cities. Ridin’ For Hell is the third book in the Tonopah, NV chapter written by author Nikki Landis. While it’s unnecessary to read all of the books within the MC world, I think you’ll understand and appreciate this story better by reading the Tonopah, NV series from the beginning. However, if you get the chance, I would definitely read the other chapters within the RBMC world!
Ridin’ For Hell tells the gripping story of Ian “Rael” Braxton and Nylah Peters, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Six years ago, Rael went through something unimaginable, and it’s been his mission to make those pay for what they’ve done. While out riding one evening, Rael came across a woman in need of help. While trying to help her, he meets Nylah, who misunderstands the situation from the beginning. After finding out who Rael is, Nylah feels connected to him, even though they are as different as two people can be.

My first time reading a book by the author and I loved it.
Her writing is fluid, her characters are kick ass. The alphas are SAF and the women are strong as hell.
What do you get when you have some bad ass reapers, motorcycles, brotherhood and some bad guys..... a really great book!!
P.s I also love the twist of supernatural. Not normally my thing but it fits in seamlessly and it’s believable.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I really like that there were more than two points of view. It helped build the entire story in my opinion.
The characters are very strong and I enjoyed reading them. The book is dark and twisted and addicting. I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series.

This was a gripping and gritty read. Definitely not for every reader but if you embrace the dark and have no triggers to worry about this is a very entertaining read. Azrael and Nylah seemed to be such opposites but they were perfect together. This is my frank, freely posted review.

This story really packs a punch from start to finish. There’s a lot of blood and gore in it but it’s essential for the story, the villains get their just deserts from the Reapers.

Action, adventure, vengeance, drama and incredible characters were the pull for me in this story. The author wrote an amazing story that kept me glued to the pages of this book from beginning to end. I was enthralled and entertained by this character and the story.

Another amazing story from Nikki Landis. This book has it allI expected from an MC book and more. Can't wait for the next book.

A great yet darker story if you like hot bikers with a paranormal twist. This story is about Rael and how he gets a lead on his ultimate revenge. It was hot, steamy, dangerous, and dark but a wild read. I loved watching him deliver his revenge and the story leading up to it was a cool read as all the pieces slowly lineup. Just a good dark story in this biker series.

I am absolutely loving this series. The story is told from multiple POVs but focus is mainly on Rael and Nylah. This book is gritty and violent with scenes of sexual abuse so be warned. Great characters and world building and the paranormal gives it an exciting twist.
