But these two come from completely different worlds... so it's no surprise that they don't quite see eye-to-eye. It doesn't take long for the flirting to turn into fighting.
Can Becca let herself be swept up into a fairytale with Jude or are these two too many worlds apart to find a true connection? Find out in this funny, sweet royal romance that will leave you daydreaming about your own fantasy prince next door.
Don't Fall for the Prince Next Door is a sweet, clean, contemporary royal romance. As always, it is happy ever after ending is guaranteed. Enjoy!
One of the worst Kindle freebie romances I've had the dubious pleasure of downloading, and that's saying something. Both of the main characters are idiots who blow hot and cold, and the writing is so clunky it was painful.
I started squinting at it after a chapter or two and ended up skimming through the rest of the book, just to see how it all played out. When I finished I even went to the trouble of going to Amazon and permanently deleting this book from my Kindle files, so I can forget about it as soon as possible and never ever be reminded of it again.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the clean enemies to lovers romance between Becca and Jude. Jude is a Prince and moves to the US to attend college at NYU to learn about international relations and law. Becca is a student studying fashion design in hopes of having her own fashion line some day, while she also works at a local boutique. When Jude goes into the boutique, Becca and her s best friend notice him and he flees when he sees them staring at him, thinking they recognized him. Later that night, Becca goes to her neighbor to complain about the loud music and it is Jude. Jude begins to think Becca is following him and after another few encounters, he is sure she is going to go to the tabloids and sell a story about him. Becca wonders if Jude is a stalker after they keep seeing each other at different place. When Becca gets a bad grade in one of her classes, she asks Jude for help tutoring her. Jude agrees and soon they reach a truce. As the time goes by, they become friends. When Becca confesses she likes Jude, he tells her he isn't interested. Jude really likes Becca, but he knows she doesn't really like rich and entitled people and he thinks she will hate him if she knew he was a Prince. Over their winter break from school, Jude goes home to see his parents. Becca hears from her mother about an aunt that died and Becca has to travel to Europe to see about an inheritance. Becca is shocked at the wealth her aunt had and is even more surprised to see Jude. When Becca learns Jude is the Prince of the country, she is furious. Jude wants to explain and soon Jude confesses his true feelings and they begin seeing each other in secret. things go well until Jude learns he has to take the throne earlier than he thought and he won't be able to return to New York. Becca wants to follow her dreams and finish school. I really liked Jude and Becca. I think they really liked each other, even if they both thought the other was stalking them. I thought they were good friends and Jude was scared of losing that friendship. Jude had a lot of expectations on him and was under a lot of pressure. I liked him but i think he was used to getting everything he wanted and he didn't consider what Becca wanted. Good one.
Palmer King’s Don't Fall for the Prince Next Door (Good Advice Book 1) is precisely the clean contemporary royal romance promised in its blurb. It starts off in New York where design students Becca meets world politics student Jude, who ends up tutoring her (the only way to be with her) while hiding his royal rank and trying to resist his attraction to her. Then the action shifts mostly to Jude’s home country, where it turns out Becca has some ties (which are actually explained in A Clean Contemporary Royal Romance a way that makes sense. This is a totally fun story that is really well written and has wonderful cast of characters. Just perfect. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
Good old fashioned romance story! Becca, is a college student focused on her goals of graduating and starting a fashion line. Jude, wants to be the best ruler for his country ops to study in U.S. so he has a lesser chance of being recognized and can focus on his studies. Becca knocks on a neighbor's door to lower his music. Turns out to be Jude who thinks Becca is stalking him. Becca's Mom sends her to Belgram to see about an inheritance. She runs into Jude. So more accidental meetings and more miscommunications can complicate a romance. They feel and attraction but just can't get it right. Familial duties add to the complexity of a romance. Can these two get on the right page? Can they achieve their goals while in a relationship? This is a sweet romance with all the right ingredients for being an excellent story. The characters are likeable and the story flows. Nicely done! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
All Becca wants is to graduate from college and start her own fashion line. She realizes it’ll take a lot of work but she’s willing to put in the effort. While at her part time job, a stunning man comes in that she and her friend can’t stop staring at. When he realizes he’s being watched he rudely bolts. Much later that night, she bangs on her new neighbor’s door to tell him to turn down his music. And guess who her new neighbor is.
Jude wants to be the best ruler for his country that he can be. He’s decided to study in the US because he’s less likely to be recognized. When he realizes the two girls in the store he’s shopping in are staring at him, he thinks he’s been recognized. Later, when his neighbor comes banging on his door to lower his music and it’s one of the shop girl, he’s sure of it. But is he really?
In this story of boy ignores girl, thus hurting her pride, misunderstandings rule supreme. I enjoyed the lighthearted take on a classic theme which makes you wonder what would have happened if the heroine's prejudices (against the pride and arrogance of money and title) had not shifted upon seeing the hero's estate. Could the hero still win the maiden in the end? I very much enjoyed the romantic tension between these characters as they explore the idea of what the best relationships are built upon. Can two very independent individuals like Becca and Jude ever make things work? This is an entertaining and lighthearted read with a plot containing a few interesting twists and turns along the way.

An interesting story, often relevant in today's society. sewsummore
This royal romance had a difficult beginning but happily a happy ending. Falling in love with a handsome Prince is what every young girl dreams at some time in her life. When it happened to Becca it was at a time, when she was on the cusp of making all her dreams as a New York Fashion designer come true. I felt her devastation of loosing her love and was glad it was not a decision I had to make. The author wrote about the difficulties many women face today, love or a career. In many cases the men involved are not prepared to work at a compromise and I was glad that Becca found just a man. An interesting story, often relevant in today's society.

Becca and Jude. She is a student studying fashion at NYU. He is a European prince majoring in world studies. They meet by accident, and then keep running into each other. As they go from conflcted to friendly, they begin to develop feelings. Then, just before winter break...a big surprise! This book reminded me of the fairy tales I used to read as a girl. The characters were engaging and the story line was romantic with a , naturally, happy ever after ending. I am anxious to read more from this author.

A guy spills her coffee on her blouse, shows up at the store where she works & then ends up in her building where she lives. She can't figure why? Is he stalking her? Then she discovers he lives next door but he strikes her as not being very considerate & hiding something from her. He becomes her tutor but something is still wrong. How they next meet is sureal, makes her very mad again. Do they work things out? I like this story very much, it's a fast read & has an HEA.

This book is filled with humour, making it very enjoyable to read. An incognito prince trying to live the life of an ordinary college student literally runs into his next-door neighbour, an aspiring fashion designer. The character development is terrific. This story shows, after a multitude of misunderstandings, how two people from completely different backgrounds work together to make both of their dreams come true.
Becca is feisty and very focused on getting through school and fulfilling her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Jude is busy staying unknown and getting settled into college life. Jude seems very rude and inconsiderate the first few times he interacts with Becca. She entertains the idea he's a serial killer and she's his next victim.

I totally loved this story! If you love witty characters and the chase you will love this book. Both the main characters were lively and entertaining. I love true love conquering old ideas and winning the day:) I love forgiveness and second chances:) I highly recommend this book and author:) Happy reading! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review:)
This was an easy, fun, romantic book to read, a great book! Loved how you get to know the characters and read about how they each assume something about the other, that isn't true. Palmer King did fantastic work writing this romantic story and I can't wait to read more in this series.

This is my first book by this author and I am very glad to say it was a beautifully written moderan fairy tail storyline. The characters are engaging and well developed with enough steam and drama to satisfy your romance bone. This will not be my last book by this author.

They are from two different worlds. Never the twain should meet. Except they did, and the fur flew not just from day one but from minute, even second, one, and each thinks the worst about each other. King shows us a couple who did/didn't want to be a couple. Until . . . Recommended for all readers of clean royal romance.
This book really reminded me of the movie The Prince and Me. There were a lot of similarities, but enough differences to make it a unique story, well, as unique as a poor girl falling in love with a prince can be ;)
Cute story if you like fairy tales.

Charming Royal Romance! A funny clean romance between two opposites who are attracted to each other. Neither wants romance to interfere with their goals in life but fate had a better idea. Great characters and sweet story with an awesome HEA. Enjoy!

Two college students discover they are next door neighbors and sparks are firing on all cylinders. She detest him and he has no clue what her problem is. This one will keep you laughing and swooning.
This story was a modernish, sweet fairytale. Without going into too much detail, all I’m going to say is, “thank goodness for meddling old ladies whose love transcends beyond the grave!”😊
Absolutely a good read that is clean but leaves you feeling fulfilled at the end. Hope to see more like this soon. The characters were wonderful and believable. Would like to see see a story about Mallory and Nessa.
