A series of stories written while living with an Alzheimers patient. Jack started to show disturbing signs of dementia and completely changed from an extremely intelligent gentle gentleman to someone I didn't even recognise with fearsome tantrums and lack of confidence. He became a little boy creating havoc with a big man's temper. Zanussi was rescued in Spain after an earthquake. My Springer Spaniel, Megan, found him in a washing machine. Never before have I witnessed the result of such cruelty to a defenceless, gentle, little animal. Jack adores Zanussi and the feeling is mutual.
