Andy's stories were reliably funny, convuluted and, of course, just wacky! They even had emotional punches of Sisyphusian childhood indignation, heart break and despair, and starry eyed hope.

Terry's illustrations were often disappointing and too often committed to failing jokes. The clever and inventive drawings I was accustomed to were not entirely missing, simply few and far between.

While reading this, I was thinking, "Why would the author make another book about crazy adventures that Andy has?" I mean, almost all the stories in all the books are the same. Andy does some pretty crazy stuff and more often than not, gets caught and gets in even bigger trouble. But while looking for the right word to describe Andy's adventures in this book, I found myself struggling and finally relenting myself to use the term, 'wacky'. I guess the book's title does fit the 9 short stories here. Andy was just plain wacky.

In the 4th installment of the Just series, I found myself rushing through the stories. When I picked the book up, I realized that this book was thicker than all the other books. It's funny because it also has 9 stories like the last 2 books. I then realized that one of this book's stories had a different 'format' from the rest. That was quite surprising. I never expected to see something like that. But then again, this is a pretty crazy series. It kind of reminded me of The Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.

Among the 9 stories, I found myself liking quite a lot of the stories here. I liked 'Band-Aid', 'A Crazy, Bad, Dumb, Bad, Bad, Dumb, Crazy, Bad Idea', 'Trash', 'Kittens, Puppies and Ponies', 'Learn to Read with Andy' and 'Mudmen'. To summarize, in these 9 stories, Andy was just crazy. He's obviously a very imaginative boy who sort of liked to do things differently. Andy's difference is what people find funny and what attracts people to the series.

This book is bout a kid named Andy Griffths who does things that are really wacky and dumb. he tris to take of a band-aid that has been on for six months, and he also tries to Fly up in the air but he almost gets killed and then he does plenty more of crazy things.

I can connect to this book because I have done crazy things. I have had a jump so high on my bed and hit my up on the celling, and it hurt me so much. I also tried to fly before but that did not work out, i hurt my self so badly.

I rate this book five star because in a way it connects to and i really like this book. I recommend this book to people who like to do crazy and wacky things. Also to people who wanna try things like this out.

All I can say is this is a funny book, this book is about a boy called Andy. He is a normal boy. Yes, really normal... NO.. he got no super power he is just a normal boy who have crush on girls and be a bad student. Andy is the type of guy that want to impressed the girl he like... yes like normal boys do. But Andy is really innocent for the first time now. The 2 girl that Andy babysit is breaking everything but because they do fake and inncocent cry... ohg my his mom blame everything on him and his mom is going to hitttttt.... wait why should I tell you? who do you think you are? If you want to know go read it yourself. Bye.....

Just Wacky, a collection of stories about band-aids that have been in place for months, a dog eating the kid's flying saucer project, a balloon trip and other tale of woe, actually had me laughing out loud. Andy Griffith really has in hand on the pulse of third through fifth grade boys with this one of a series. "Contains immature marerial not suitable for adults" - so true!

I really liked this book. It's a classic that's full of humor and it's a book that I can relate to so that makes it easier for me to understand. I may have not experienced A LOT of the things that Andy experiences but there are moments like those that are kind of like what Andy went through. It's a just right book because it's not that hard to read but it's also not too easy either.

My son & I have really enjoyed every book in this author's series of "Just..." books. My son also likes all of the "Butt" books from this same author. (He read those to himself so I don't know how good they are.)
